Ive moved him upto LW for the interesting matchups, but in the end he has earned a shot against an enemy from his FW past lol, so i moved him for fresh matchups and its currently ended with him facing someone very familiar

Playing with GAMMA and I just finished July 2006. Currently High National in size (I have it capped so I don't get too far ahead of my fighter polarities, but will move to Low International at the end of the year). In the beginning I decided to open Women's divisions instead of Featherweight and Bantamweght, and ALPHA-1 jumped in and signed all the lighter dudes, so I have not ventured into that territory yet, but I will soon. I recently signed a deal with Euro Cable Sports 1, not realizing that they would not share coverage with anyone, thus "GAMMA Euro Thunder" was born, and will be used as a show to try to develop some European talent.

Super Heavyweight has been mostly dominated by Teddy Glossop and Tim Boyer, with 7 successful defenses over four year between them. Boyer retired following his loss to Glossop, robbing us of a trilogy.

Linage since game start:

George Pickering - 0 defenses
Kel Ryan - beat Pickering at GAMMA 51, 0 defenses
Hanley Polter - beat Ryan at GAMMA 55, 0 defenses
Tim Boyer - beat Polter at COTT Season 4 finale, 4 defenses against Glossop, Witherspoon, Lette and Polter
Teddy Glossop - beat Boyer at GAMMA 89, 3 defenses against Witherspoon, Fialkowski and Polter

Top 5:

Champion: Teddy Glossop 15-2, 11-2 GAMMA, Next Defense will be against Davey Rushton
2: Gladistone Lopes 19-7-1 6-7 GAMMA, currently suspended for extra strikes after the stoppage against Steve Mason
3: Dwight Witherspoon 11-2 6-2 GAMMA, 2 title loses, fighting Fialkowska in August
4: Davey Rushton 11-3 8-3 GAMMA, on a 4 fight winning streak, will next fight Glossop for the title.
5: Matas Fialkoska 11-2 4-2 GAMMA, last fight was a title loss, next fight against Withersppon in August

Heavyweight has been dominated by 2 men, James Foster and Lars-Gunnar Ekberg, with a short reign by Rav Kapur in between. I am having problems building many new contenders in this division because no one an put together too many consecutive wins. Ekberg is a phenomenal champion.

Linage since game start:

James Foster - 11 defenses, 3 after game start against McCall, Kapur and Ivanov
Rav Kapur - beat Foster at GAMMA 68, 2 defenses against Foster and Ivanov
Lars-Gunnar Ekberg - beat Kapur at GAMMA 81, defenses against Landeweerd, Kapur, Ivanov and Phipps

Top 5:

Champion: Lars-Gunnar Ekberg 19-1 13-1 GAMMA, next defense is against John Draper at GAMMA 109
2: Rav Kapur 20-4 11-4 GAMMA, I may move him up to Super Heavyweight as no one can beat him but he has lost twice to Ekberg
3: Alexander Ivanov 17-5 6-4 GAMMA has only lost to Foster, Kapur and Ekberg, will probably get a title rematch if he can beat Chistopher Drew in his next fight
4: Fritz Phipps 13-3-1 4-2-1 GAMMA, most recent title challenger, not sure who will be next for him
5: John Draper 13-0 4-0 GAMMA, the only guy who can string together wins, I expect he will lose badly to Ekberg at GAMMA 109

Light Heavyweight is a pretty fun, and extremely deep division. Spencer Rubenstein has won the title two additional times, and ALPHA-1 imports Zvonimir Asanovic and Raphael Van Der Moot have also held the belt, but it is currently vacant because VDM has decided to go on hiatus as champion.

Linage since game start:

Mike Watson - 0 defenses
Spencer Rubenstein - 3 defenses against Hughes, Taneyev and Kurri
Zvonimir Asanovic - 2 defenses against Villar and Van Der Moot
Spencer Rubenstein - 0 defenses
Rafael Van Der Moot - 2 defenses against Rubenstein and Fantoni

Top 5:

1: Rafael Van Der Moot - 24-2 7-1 GAMMA, a Champion goes on Hiatus...damn
2: Affonso Villar - 35-4 5-1 GAMMA, on a 4 fight win streak, recently spoiled the Light Heavyweight debut of Matthew Dean, fighting Rubenstein at GAMMA 109
3: Mike Watson - 20-5 16-5 GAMMA, hit a rough patch in 2004, losing 4 straight, but in now on a 3 fight winning streak, will fight Fantoni next in a "title eliminator"
4: Nilton Fantoni - 16-3 7-3 GAMMA, was on a 5 fight winning streak before being KO'd by VDM at GAMMA 106, will fight Watson next in a "title eliminator"
5: Spencer Rubenstein - 24-8 14-4 GAMMA, former 3 time champion, his fight with Villar at GAMMA 109 will be a "title eliminator"

At Middleweight, a bit of a youth movement has been in effect since Adam White dethroned Matthew Dean at GAMMA 78. With guys like White, current Champion Isaiah Monroe and Estaban Vega all being ranked in the top 5, we should have a few more years of great fights.

Linage since game start:

Matthew Dean - 13 defenses, 4 after game start against Mizwar, White, Thomas and Ripley
Adam White - 2 defenses against Benn and a trilogy fight with Dean
Isaiah Monroe - 1 defense against Chambers

Top 5:

Champion: Isaiah Monroe - 21-2 13-2 GAMMA, Won the title from White in the main event of GAMMA 100 and KO'd Nathan Chambers in his first defense, next fight will be with Esteban Vega.
2: Esteban Vega - 18-1 7-1 GAMMA, on a 5 fight winning streak, all 5 wins are by KO. Will fight Monroe next.
3: Adam White - 20-2 13-2 GAMMA, former champion with 2 career losses to Dean and Monroe. Fights Braulio Moura at GAMMA 109, which I am now realizing is a stacked card.
4: Braulio Moura - 31-5-2 9-3-1 GAMMA, recently beat Wes Hersh after a loss to Nathan Chamber, fighting White at GAMMA 109.
5: Bill Brown - 19-3 9-3 GAMMA, COTT Season 4 winner, just knocked out Osmosis Benn at GAMMA 107.

Welterweight has been a bit of a hot potato, with no one defending the belt successfully in the last 3 title fights. The longest reigning Champion was a surprising Darin Blood.

Linage since game start:

Julio Regueiro - 0 defenses
Darin Blood - 3 defenses against Silva, Brubaker and Garner
Manuel Silva - 2 defense against Blood in a trilogy fight, injured as champion then unified the title against Fukusaburu Hirano
Fukusaburu Hirano - won interim championship from Brubaker, lost unification with Silva
Ichisake Miyagi - 0 defenses
Julio Regueiro - 0 defenses
Martin Cupples - current champion, 0 defenses

Top 5:

Champion: Martin Cupples - 19-2, 2-0 GAMMA, just beat Regueiro in the main event on GAMMA 107.
2: Manuel Silva - 25-2 7-2 GAMMA, recently beat Buddy Garner, currently scheduled against Diego Arteta at GAMMA 108.
3: Nathan Chambers - just came back down after consecutive losses at Middleweight. I had moved him up when he came back from a hiatus.
4: Ichisake Miyagi - 33-6 4-2 GAMMA, coming off of his title loss he currently scheduled to fight Bobby Brubaker at GAMMA 108.
5: Buddy Garner - 23-6-1 13-6-1 GAMMA, has lost to Blood, Silva and Miyagi (twice) sprinkled in with 4 wins since moving down to 170. Hoping to use him as a gate keeper moving forward.

Lightweight hasn't been quite the hot potato that Welterweight has been, but there have still been 5 champions and an interim champion since game start. Helio is a 2 time champion and holds the belt currently. He has been a finish machine.

Linage since game start:

Jake Keane - 0 defenses
Helio - 1 defense against Lermontov
Luis Basora - 1 defense against Oldacres
Fiyero Lermontov - 2 defenses against Oldacres and interim champion O'Breen
Seth O'Breen - won interim title against O'Hara when Lermontov was injured.
Helio - current champion, 0 defenses

Top 5:

Champion: Helio - 25-3-1 7-2 GAMMA, all six of his wins since game start are by KO. Outside of a weird loss to Bud Brockett, he has been mostly dominant. next defense is against Tim Oldacres at GAMMA 108
2: Fiyero Lermontov - 24-2 8-2 GAMMA, he smashes everyone except for Helio, but with 2 loses to the champ I cannot justify giving him another title shot. Fighting Hans Christian Bloch at GAMMA 109.
3: Luis Basora - 28-7 5-2 GAMMA, this guy is boring, but he rarely loses. Losses to Lermontov and Keane, big wins over Helio, Oldacres and Sugar. Next fight against Seth O'Breen and GAMMA European Thunder 1.
4: Tim Oldacress 16-3 7-3 GAMMA, loses only to the elite. Big wins over Sugar, Keane, O'Hara and Peterson.
5: Chan Kim Haut - 15-2 3-1 GAMMA, COTT Season 7 winner, lost to Basora but is on a 2 fight winning streak, most recently against Manoel Cabral at GAMMA 106.

Women's Heavyweight was created in 2003 and is a bit strange, because it covers 136-155. This weight has had 3 champions, but the only real notable belt holder is Erin Distefano, who has knocked out everyone she has ever been put in there with. Her dominance has made the division very stagnant, with no real competitors emerging.

Linage since game start:

Hope Lehane - beat Ebisawa to become inaugural champion, 1 defense against Kristen Page
Sayoko Ebisawa - 0 defenses
Erin Distefano - 4 defenses against Bethlan, Rios, Kaczmarek and Bethlan again.

Top 5:

Champion: Eris Distefano - 15-0 10-0 GAMMA, As stated, she has knocked out every opponent she has faced. She won COTT Season 6. I have no idea who is next for her, as the division is cleaned out.
2: Nora Bethlan - 12-2 7-2 GAMMA, she has also knocked out all 12 opponents and has beaten everyone of note except Distefano, I may move her down a weight class.
3: Idina Micklewhite - 13-3 3-1 GAMMA, she is on a 3 fight win streak and retired both Lehane and Sablikova as well as beating Ebisawa. She is almost certainly Distefano's next victim.
4: Gabriella Rios - 12-2 1-2 GAMMA, her being ranked 4th tells you alot about this weight right now. She beat Sablikova, but lost to Distefano and Maricel Punya. She is fighting Kristen Page at GAMMA 108.
5: Sayoko Ebisawa - 14-4 4-4 GAMMA, Former Champion on a 2 fight losing streak. Her next fight may be her last, as women seem to retire younger.

Women's Lightweight covers 120-135, and is our newest weight class. There has currently only been one champion, Nina Belle, and she is set to defend against a recently unretired Sandy Oliver at the COTT season 9 finale.

Linage since game start:

Nina Belle - beat O'Neal to become inaugural champion, 1 defense against Emi Nagano

Top 5:

Champion: Nina Belle - 17-1 2-0 GAMMA, inaugural champion, beat COTT season 8 winner Nagano at GAMMA 103. Defending against Sandy Oliver at COTT Season 9 finale.
2: Sandy Oliver - 15-1 0-0 GAMMA, came out of retirement to try to avenge her only career loss to Nina Belle at COTT Season 9 Finale.
3: Stella Massey - 19-2 1-0 GAMMA, her win was against Maya Komagata, scheduled to face Manami Ken at GAMMA Euro Thunder 1.
4: Romi Takahashi - 12-3-1 3-0 GAMMA, the most active fighter in the division so far, she recent knocked out Pamela O'Neil and is more than likely next in line for the Belle-Oliver winner.
5: Pamela O'Neil - 16-3-1 0-2 GAMMA, her start has been a bit of a disappointment, but she is only 31 and has plenty of time left. I expect she will get back in contention again before too long. If not, she will make a decent gatekeeper.

Right now I am in a bidding war with my own child company. What in the actual...well you know the rest. What sucks is I have to keep on bidding because OMEGA is in on the bidding process as well.

If OMEGA was not I would just let my child company have the fighter and then I would just call her up to the main roster.

I'm playing an XCC game and the most surprising thing is that Riveron Potter-Pirbright has become the bantamweight champ...and he did it by going 4-0 with leg kick TKOs, beating Ray Bellinger, Zach Steggles, Mitchell Bryan, and finally the champ Willy Bassett.

Yo, for real. R-P-P is legit. He's good enough at keeping his distance to give a lot of dudes in XCC headaches. His tough matchups are Waller and Rockmetteler, so only build up to those for big fights, because those turn into wars.

XCC my main company, so I know these guys pretty well by now.

Another pro tip? Dominic Ash probably isn't ever going to contend for a title for you, but the dude always puts up exciting fights and he produces a lot of upset wins. Valuable member of the roster. Usually good to co-main whatever show he's on with the right booking to keep him strong.

Just had to laugh at a crazy thing that i've never seen before. Both fighters for a fight (Manoel Cabral vs. Coltrane Aaronson, should be good), got minor injuries (Minor Concussion for Cabral, Stinger for Aaronson) during training but they're still clear to fight. Never had that happen to both guys in the same fight.

Not the biggest injury shenanigans I've seen. That was last week or so. GAMMA run. Original fight was Nathan Chambers vs. Jack Humphreys. Humphreys shatters his knee, out for a year. So I get Rufus Stephens to fill in for Humphreys. Stephens ALSO shatters his knee and is out for a year.

So I just have this image of Chambers going Tonya Harding on the GAMMA Welterweight division and I'm laughing just remembering this nonsense.

Default New Start

just now found this forum so hoping for some activity. I have downloaded the up to date Real World and added Alpha-1 Fighting Championships to the Japanese Market with the lowest possible reputation. Started myself with $1M as i decided to choose a Billionaire as my owner, thought $1M was suitable to get myself off the ground without being TOO greedy. Lowest possible reputation etc so yeah, ive never played this game before although i did abuse the old wrestling game before TEW, was it EWR? think so. Anyway, here is the short story i added as per the Company screen

Takao Yasuda founded Don Quijote Holdings in 1980 and has since topped Forbes richest Japanese list coming in at #22 in 2018. After stepping down as CEO and Chairman in 2015 he continued as an advisor to the company. Since then his time and fortune has continued to grow along with his heavy interst in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Takao founded Alpha-1 Fighting Championships (A1) early 2018 and almost a year later A1 looks to host its first show. The bank balance is considerably small considering his personal fortune, but with an initial pot of $1Million A1 should be able to atleast end 2019 with its feet under the table on the Japanese market.

im hoping to run my first few events as tournaments so to speak, probably Heavy, Middle and Welter divisions to begin. See a tournament stretch over 2 or 3 events with the first champions being all crowned on one night. Lets see how it goes.

Finally got a decent save up, feel I'm too late to the party though as the boards are quiet for wmma5.

Anyway, starting at rizin 14. Mayweather cancelled so we decided that this would be our last 'supershow' and will focus next year on building a promotion like ufc. Actual divisions. Exclusive fighters and belts etc. Signed a couple big names and added some fights to rizin 14 and 15 which will be within a day of each other.

Started to diary it all as part of the dynasty forums if anyone is interested.

Gearing up for GAMMA 115 in my latest play-through. In IRL fashion we are having our first superfight between Lars Gunnar-Ekberg our dominant HW Champion defending his title against the seemingly unstoppable LHW champ Valentin Taneyev, they've both cleared there divisions so makes sense.

The co-main event sees our only ever Featherweight champ Lamont Banner who's on a 12 fight win streak and fresh off a hiatus fight the one contender left in his division Fernando Paragon.

The undercard features some of our rising talents such as the game-generated Tom "The Avalanche'' Sylvia a 7-0 (5-0) 22 year old superstar who's tearing up the featherweight division with his dominant and flamboyant striking style. He's already at low level international fame and putting him on this card shoot boost him up, he's a big piece of my companies expansion into the Bantamweight divison as he is a natural bantamweight.

exciting times in my game.
