Default GAMMA: A New era of MMA

GAMMA New era of MMA

Founded by billionaire Mark Wallace, the GAMMA (Global Association of Mix Martial Arts) will be the first major organization based in New York and promises a change in the current moment of MMA.

With a strong group of investors, the event will bring a seasonal model, unlike other organizations that have a fixed champion. A conference is scheduled for Madison Square Garden next Thursday for the announcement of the event.

Sources close to Blurcat.com, said the organization is already in contact with MMA big names who are retired, wanting to bring them back.

Recently Chuck Liddell was one of the fighters who were open to return, and confirmed without citing the organization, which was made a good offer.

Some agents and coaches, of great teams, also expressed themselves on the new organization.

For Ali Abdelaziz, a former WSOF matchmaker and agent of great fighters, GAMMA will be an organization to stay. "They have a great business plan, and they offer a great deal to the fighters. This is going to be something that will bring big names to the event. "Said Abdelaziz.

Conan Silveira, one of the founders of one of the world's largest camps, ATT, also believes the event will be a strong competitor. "They're going to work on a different system, and they're going to do events around the world. It's great that the fighters will have another choice to look for a better contract. "

The conference will begin at 11am, and will be fully covered by Blurcat.com.

Will watch out for this.

GAMMA 1: Faber vs. Imanari - Recap & Results

Michael Schiavelo: Hi, I'm Michael Schiavelo from New York at Madison Square Garden.

Here with me, my broadcasting partner, the legendary Bas Rutten.

Good evening Bas! A great night of fights today, no !?

Bas Rutten: Hello Mike!

Certainly it was a great night!

MS: Let's do a recap of the card for the fight fans, from Blurcat.com.Turning with the main card.

In the main event, Urijah Faber returning to MMA defeating Masakazu Imanari, by decision.

BR: Yes. Faber had a safe performance and controlled the entire fight, without difficulty. Maybe he lacked fight time, but for a comeback, it was a good win.

MS: At the Co-Main event, another legend came back and won by decision, Forrest Griffin.

BR: It was the same situation as Faber, but Griffin, despite being out more time, was a little more dominant. He got hard blows and showed that he is in great shape.

MS: Any more featured in main card Bas?

BR: Anthony Johnson, Diego Brandao and Perry Filkins.Johnson showed that he wants to be a champion, and got a great knockout, while Brandao easily surpassed Diego Nunes who is a tough opponent. And I think the biggest dark of the night was Filkins , who beat Mark Munoz, after Filkins hit a kick in the head of Munoz in the second round the fight was another and things got easier for him.

MS: Still in the main card, Chris Leben made his return, beating Steve Bosse and Martin Kampmann finishing Jonavin Webb in the second round.

MS: In the preliminaries the return of Brendan Schaub who knocked out Siala Mou Siliga in just 31 seconds.

BR: It was a great return for Schaub.

MS: For fans of fights, tomorrow in California we will have the return of legend Tito Ortiz doing the GAMMA main event against Ian Martell. Thank you Bas and so we say goodbye. Until next time!

GAMMA 2: Ortiz vs. Martel - Recap & Results

Michael Schiavelo: Hi, I'm Michael Schiavelo from Los Angeles at Staples Center.

Here with me, my broadcasting partner, the legendary Bas Rutten.

Good Night Bas!

Bas Rutten: Hello Mike!

MS: Let's do a recap of the card for the fight fans, from Blurcat.com.Turning with the main card.

In the main event, Tito Ortiz started well, but could not stand the pressure of Martel.

BR: Yes. Ortiz started better dominating the fight, but in the third round Martel hit a great sequence and finished the fight.

MS: In the second most important bout of the night Bas, we had a great comeback from Dan Hardy.

BR: He was incredible, Mike. Dominating the fight in full gave no chance to Graves. No doubt he came back to stay.

MS: Any more featured in main card Bas?

BR: Certainly it was the victory of "Bigfoot" Silva, hard blows that ended Butler in the second round.

MS: Featured also for TJ Grant returned with a great performance against Adriano Martins, Carneiro hit Guillard via submission in the first round getting six points in this first round,

MS: In the preliminaries many fights finalized before the end ...

BR: Yes, this is showing that the fighters are understanding what they need to do to qualify for the playoffs.

MS: Next week begins the first round of the world cup, 8 nations compete for the title of world champion by teams. All matches will have simultaneous broadcasts by GAMMA TV. Thanks Bas! Thank you fight fans and even the next!

BR: Until next Mike!
