Thanks.

Gino Hernandez, nicknamed "The Handsome Halfbreed", was in WCCW and was a former Texas Heavyweight champ. He teamed with Chris Adams to form "The Dynamic Duo". They, according to wikipedia.com, were known to cut the hair off their opponents after each win (later used by Ed Leslie, AKA Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake). He also teamed with Tully Blanchard in SWCW, a team also named "The Dynamic Duo".

He ended up dying from an overdose of cocaine in 1986.

"The Dynamic Duo",Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez, were actually one of the best tag teams of the early 80's...it was a case of two guys who both talk AND work...if they had been on a bigger stage they would have gone places.

WCCW's Dynamic Duo of Gino and Chris Adams was another excellent team that generated massive heat and could deliver in the ring....if not for Gino's untimely death at the very young age(only is his mid-late 20's) they probably would have become big players as WCCW was a syndicated show that got play around the country.

Overall,I'd put Gino Hernandez at or near the top tier of young workers at this time,he was very talented....even if he did have the world's ugliest looking elbow drop off the top rope.

Tough loss in SECW,I guess I can handle it since at least one guy on the winning team (Jacques Rougeau) will turn out to be pretty good, and with SECW being small as it is,you can get that win back no problems.

Good to see you picking up steam in SWCW,I know it's been a little tough for you there...the win against The Dirty White Boy...I mean, Grappler #2,is just what the doctor ordered.

If you were curious about how anyone else is doing about 18 months into the game let me know and I'll post their record up for you.

That's exactly what Gino's bio at wikipedia said. That the Blanchard/Hernandez "Dynamic Duo" was one of the best tag teams of the early 80's.

I think that I may have been placed into what looks like a feud between Steve Armstrong and the future Honky Tonk Man. I've been teamed with Wayne Ferris (Farris) a couple of times now. I was even in a tag match against your buddy, Double A, oops, I mean Super Olympia.

I probably could pick up more steam in SWCW if their TV show wasn't in conflict every Friday with PNW's "Big Time Wrestling".

Mark's starting to improve and look what's just happened in PNW, just like in my previous try.
