Hello! As Rocky Mountain Wrestling has finished its fifth year and we head into our sixth, I thought it would be fitting to start our sixth year off with a "Who to Watch." It is the first time we've done something like this and hopefully it will helpful to any new fans who are just finding the product and any old fans who are wondering who I, as the lead broadcaster for Rocky Mountain Wrestling -- the only play by play man they've ever had -- thinks is going to have a big year.

Remember, you can catch all the Rocky Mountain Wrestling action On Demand on the Rocky Mountain Sports Network or online at RockyMountainWrestlingcom or on our official YouTube Channel, Rocky Mountain Wrestling -- Official.

"The Return of the Monster" James Diaz has already had a successful career in Rocky Mountain Wrestling. He's a two time tag team champion, once with his cousin Logan and once with his father Raymond. Both signed exclusive contracts with Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods late last year and now James looks poised to become a break out singles star. His Asian Spike is devastating, he as the size, strength, and mobility to really become a force to be reckoned with.

"The Headhunter" Jeffery Aroma has had a steady climb in Rocky Mountain Wrestling already. Debuting as the bodyguard for Riley McManus, he single-handedly dismantled the Animal Kingdom. He is on the cusp of becoming the longest reigning Can-Am Champion and has tied Joel Bryant for most defenses of said title. Could 2021 become the year The Headhunter sets his sights on more prestigious targets?

Lucy Stone-McFly is a rookie, but she shocked the wrestling world by defeating the much more experienced Wendy Anderson to win the Rocky Mountain Women's Championship in her very first match. The daughter of two wrestling legends, Lucy's rookie year could be the best rookie year of any wrestler in history and she's poised to have the best rookie year for rookies in 2021.

"The Canadian Wrestling Machine" David Stone. He was unanimously voted the 'Young Wrestler of the Year' by the wrestling media The son of Dan Stone Jr, David Stone is splitting his time between Rocky Mountain Wrestling and North of the Border Wrestling. He's shown himself to have a great in-ring awareness and possess some of his families legendary technical prowess. It remains to be seen how far he can go, but I think 2021 is going to be a big year for him.

The Cummos. The Brothers Cummo. Kurt and Luis. Graduates of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who have been slowly proving themselves came up short at the Fifth Anniversary but I think are poised to be the breakout stars of the tag team division this year. They combine good size, good athleticism and a developing skill set. Could 2021 be the year they become Tag Team Champions? I think so.

These are your Wrestlers to Watch in 2021. I'm Michael Riggs, the Voice of Rocky Mountain Wrestling. Thank you for reading. We hope to see you at one of our live events.

  • Jonah Pilgrim has signed a pay per appearance contract with Rocky Mountain Wrestling. The former Mid Atlantic Wrestling wrestler is a graduate of the Piledriver School of Wrestling and has been wrestling for ten years. For the past six months, he has been working the independent scenes looking to be picked up by a name organization.
  • Former Pride Glory Honor Wrestling standout William Hayes has signed a contract to wrestle for Rocky Mountain Wrestler. The standout grappler has spent the bulk of his career in Japan and brings a world experience to the Rocky Mountain Wrestling locker room.
  • Scout has signed a contract extension with Rocky Mountain Wrestling.

Rocky Mountain returns to action on Sunday Week 2 of February. This time, we are venturing from the Oxford Arena down to the West Texas Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas! It is our first time in Texas but we are hoping to see all of our fans in a city with a great wrestling history out at the historic West Texas Coliseum.

Jeffery Aroma will be looking for his record-setting eighth title defense of the Can-Am Championship, the Hawaiian Boys and Can-Am Blondes will be having the third match in a series that has them both with one win, Lucy Stone-McFly will be making her first defense of the Women's Championship and so much more! Get your tickets today!

I hung up the phone, almost giddy with excitement. I had just closed the deal on a contract that I thought was going to be a game changer for Rocky Mountain Wrestling. Our popularity was surging. We were really on a roll and had been for quite some time. Business was booming. We were building a core group of talent that I was certain could help us continue to expand. Riley, Ross, Brandon, Sean, Alexander, Marv, Dean, Ox... These were guys that were going to propel us. With the addition that I was bringing in -- I thought we might be ready. Might be ready for that next step in our climb. The decision would have to come after Wrestling Summit VI. I would wait until then. To make the call on whether or not we were really ready, but I was gaining more confidence in what we could do. With this latest deal? I knew what was coming -- we weren't ready yet, but it was coming. I knew it. I could feel it in my bones.

A special thank you to King Bison for the new Oxford render. This is just a small narrative, but it's foreshadowing what is going to be coming for Rocky Mountain Wrestling.
