Default "Soft" Heel/Face Divide

As it is in TEW if you do heel/face divide you have to do an equal number of faces versus heels and you get penalized for face/face or heel/heel matches. But this doesn't really simulate what generally happens in Puro and some Lucha promotions. Generally speaking in those promotions there's usually one or two heel factions and the rest of the promotion is made up of faces. Take classic DRAGON GATE or Toryumon; there was one major heel faction (M2K), one inbetween faction (Crazy MAX) and the rest of the promotion were faces. Even today in New Japan there are faces and heels and generally the matches go face/heel but heels will face other heels and faces will face other faces, particularly in tournaments to no penalty.

As it is you can simulate that by doing no divide but in those real life examples people are "rated" by their effectiveness as a babyface or a heel. Take Minoru Suzuki for example, always a heel (with a few exceptions) and is considered one of the best heels in the entire world for his bully/psychotic actions. But as it is in the game he'd get no benefits for those talents. Likewise Tanahashi is a fantastic babyface but would get nothing for those skills in TEW as it is.

Perhaps instead of the "full" benefits of a full on heel/face divide, you could instead be able to set up any number of heels or faces and do whatever matches you want while receiving "some" benefits of those alignments? And you could still include negatives for alignment vs alignment but they'd be much, much less severe.

Or if that would be too gamey then simply make it so it's a visual indicator with no actual benefits? Even if it's just that it'd help the player know who they've set up as heels or faces promotion wise with a glance.

OR in match making being able to set one side of the match to work as heels for that particular match like how Tanahashi can flip between the two depending on his opponent. That would satisfy the requirements for a heel/face divide in that particular match instead of having to globally change their alignment?

The heel/heel and face/face penalty is tiny. Making it any smaller would just get rid of it.

Company doesn't use heels or faces is what you're looking for.

Rather than starting a whole new thread I thought I'd put my suggestion here as is related to face/heel divide.

I would like to see a penalty added based on fans wanting wrestlers to be a face or heel. For example Kevin Owens generally plays a heel but the crowd would love to cheer him, or Reigns/Cena where the crowd would have loved a heel turn at some point. In their matches I think there should be a penalty as the crowd want them to be different to what they are which limits the effectiveness of the story you are trying to tell. Ideally, the penalty would be more severe the higher a wrestlers push. This would force you to book wrestlers in the way the fans want or alternatively go all VKM and take the penalty but ignore the fans.
