CZCW Feb18

I'mnot very creative so I'm adding the Thunderverse Pics into the Default Cverse folder.

Some of the photo's will give me ideas of how to repackage guys that don't inspire me at all.

Things like I want a young masked guy to take over the masked company legend thing from Fox Mask as he's starting to wind down. plenty of pics of masked guys added to make a bland looking but talented guy interesting.

Into December 2019 and HALLELUJAH we've finally seen an increase in pop again. It's a Christmas miracle!

I think I'll wait until the Owner goal of money expires in 5 months before starting a broadcaster; that way, we'll have a little extra money to play with. In the meantime, I'll add a half hour to the weekly show and keep an eye out to see if pop gains are consistent. If so, I'll bring back the hour Southwest show, give more showcase to anyone not in the main event, particularly Christy Higgins, Rose and Kate Lilly.

Got through Survivor Series 95. Who will survive? Hakushi won an auto-booked preshow battle royal. Funnily enough, I tried to put Hakushi over in the match, but folks started to complain. I got what I wanted.

Ahmed Johnson leads his team - the EAT REEFS - over the Classic Connection. It comes down to Ahmed and Goldust, but Goldust gets himself counted out to end the match. That feud is being saved for later. Ahmed gets a measure of revenge on Bob Backland, and is headed for the IC belt.

Bret Hart and Taker survivor to lead the Sharpshooters to victory against the Royal Army. Taker scares Lawler right into the waiting hands of Bret, who makes him tap to the Sharpshooter. Bret is down with Lawler and is gunning for the WWF Championship, and Lawler will blame Taker for his loss - for better or for worse.

Piper leads us to December's IYH - a number one contender's match to determine who Diesel will face at the Rumble. Diesel has been disappointing so far. His matches aren't meeting the PPV providers, and my, standards, and he keeps moving between being an ok figurehead and unimpactful ace. He's getting ready to drop the belt, his figurehead position, and maybe (probably) turn heel.

The Corporation wins over The Bad Guys, with HHH finally getting a dirty pin over Razor. Sid also survived with HHH. Razor will head for the number one contender's match, but HHH is in limbo. Sid will probably turn face eventually.

Main Event sees the Baddest Brothers defeated Camp Cornette. Lead up to this match saw Corny introduce Vader to his Camp and the world, as he destroyed the babyface team. They luck out during the match though, as Vader gets DQed. HBK and Diesel clean house to end the match on a high note.

Backstage, most people are turning against Bam Bam (thanks Kliq), but Bam Bam is turning people against HHH in revenge. Bam Bam got re-signed to a PPA contract, so he's easy to cut and will job to Goldust next show. As soon as I need to drop Diesel from his figurehead spot or turn him heel, Bam Bam will be shown the door in hopes of pleasing Nash.

^ Good to see Bam Bam defending himself.

Kitana became another one of those too good to turn down superstars. Wow. Next show is the big one. Flashpoint. The final show on the final day of the year. Doubt any of my guys will be up for awards. Interested to see where Batman finishes in the top 500. He's been the best performer and usually has good matches with his Gotham company.

Opened a 30000 venue in New England called Belle Reve. Be used for the first time at Flashpoint.

The beautiful Disney alliance cause plans to change.. Frickin, Kitty Pryde defeated Kisarah Westfield for the Women's title a night before the show. (in a lousy 57 match) Kisarah was set to defend against Donna Troy. In a way, I'm happy about this because I kind of feel like I was pushing Troy into this too quickly. She has been winning matches against locals and mids but still is at mid herself. Think an actual feud with another woman will help. Troy will now take on Bleez.

I'm going to bring Kitty Pryde in for a defence and Kitana is debuting. You know what's happening there. Kitty will take great pride in appearing on the biggest show of the year to fulfil her transitional champion duty. Maybe this has worked out well for me. Hot debut for Kitana.

Nemesis is not the man for the top title. He's just a brute. an incredible brute, but a brute all the same. Not what I want for the championship. I picture Superman winning with his last breath or something cinematic like that. lol Might even do a title vacancy because Superman is taking some time off afterwards.

Not sure of the direction of the title yet. Bookmakers believe General Zod is the slight favourite, The Flash odds keep improving. Speed is the key, Mr Allen.

Basically using the awesome Christopher Reeve performance from Superman 3 as my Bizarro. (my avatar) Not the goofy versions of Bizarro. He is going to get a push next year.

Heading into next year.

Matt Hardy and Callie Liddle are a team. They're named Awoken. Another fine piece of creativity. Anyway, they will go at it with The Rogues and Canary&Arrow in a parking lot brawl. Not really sure what I'm doing with Hardy yet. Thought the debut with phantom zone escape was perfect. As you will all know, it can get hard to concentrate on so many people. He's just been cutting promos. No real direction.

Copying from what I've seen on TV, I'm going to do a Flash turns back time storyline. He will certainly contemplate it.

Shoot to Kill are going to dominate the tag team division. Thinking ahead. We have people at the bar a lot in this game. What if Deathstroke and Reaper are there one night and then all of a sudden we see these other guys drinking.

That is my limit. Just been thinking the Road Warriors would be a good fit.

The Undertaker is starting to remember the world he was once part of.

And then I levitated, it looked like Marty Jannetty was there.

hahaha Marty Jannetty. Wait, who's that? Listen, dude, you need to ease up on those magic spells.

Taker and Jones will take on Morbius and Dracula in a buried alive match. I had planned to do the 2 vs 3 at the earlier show. Undertaker suffered one of those short-term injuries you can't work through.

Justice League will finally get a fresh coat of paint. I wanted to do it earlier. Cyborg and Aquaman are both going to leave. Green Arrow hit the drink hard after Nemesis broke Arsenal's back.

Supergirl is also done. She will take on Zod at Flashpoint. She's improved so much over the year. Zod and Milton Fine are trying to mentor her. Zod is acting all nice here. Supergirl made the challenge and Zod politely accepted. Her actions are starting to change, can she be trusted? Superman not around to look out for her now.

Batman leaves because he failed Superman. The Red Hood and Bat-Vamp will keep him busy. Batman vs Bat-Vamp will wrestle at Flashpoint in a Texas death match. How random.

The Flash will take over the Justice League. The new lineup will be.

The Flash
Harrison Wells (The brain of the operation. Not a wrestler.)
Superman will eventually return.
AJ Styles (that's right)
Tina Ocean
Revan (The force is coming to the JLA )
Wonder Woman
Killer Frost

Frosty has been good ic champ, got the prestige up to 84. It is AJ Styles moment though. He has defeated her in non-title matches. The time is right. Fallout with Kane coming shortly.

Mick, if you believe we've seen the last of Superman then I've got some dotcoms to sell to you.

Take my money.

Superman's Messiah complex is something I have always admired. Too bad Nemesis didn't feel the same way. Merry Christmas and happy new year everybody. Stay safe.

WWF Survivor Series 1987!

Team Dragon Fire vs The Million Dollar Corporation

Team Dragon Fire: *Captain* WWF Intercontinental Champion Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Koko B. Ware, & Southern Comfort (Austin Idol & Dutch Mantell)

The Million Dollar Corporation: *Captain* Ted Dibiase, Bob Orton, Stan Hansen, Dino Bravo, & Bobby Eaton

Steamboat leaves his team at a disadvantage after The Dragon & Stan Hansen are fighting outside, and are both counted out. Team Dragon Fire never really recovers without their captain. It comes down to Harley Race alone against Ted DiBiase & Bob Orton. Race manages to eliminate Orton. But thanks to a distraction by Orton, DiBiase manages to roll up Race for a 3 Count with a handful of tights! The Million Dollar Corporation wins!

Jake Roberts was supposed to be apart of Team Dragon Fire, but failed his second drug test and was sent to rehab. It really downgraded the team, and made my decision on who should win a lot easier.

Team Santana vs Team Martel

Team Santana: *Captain* Tito Santana, Barry Windham, Kevin Von Erich, Bob Backlund, & Ken Patera

Team Martel: *Captain* Rick Martel, Rhythm & Blues, Owen Hart, & Nikolai Volkoff

The former team known as Strike Force face off for the first time since Rick Martel attacked his own partner. After both teams lose three members, Santana & Backlund are left to face off with Martel & Greg Valentine. But Martel has no interest in ever getting into the ring with Santana, and deliberately gets counted out of the match! Santana eventually puts Valentine away with the Flying Forearm, winning it for his team! Santana & Backlund survive, but its clear Tito is frustrated he never got his hands on Martel!

Backstage, WWF World Tag Team Champion Road Warrior Hawk tells Gene Okerlund that the ruling has come down from the doctors. His partner, Animal, will be unable to compete tonight due to the vicious backstage attack by the Hart Foundation earlier in the week. The titles are no longer on the line, but the match is still on! Hawk has been granted permission to find a new partner! Hawk has found that partner, and he is…

Road Warrior Hawk & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs The Hart Foundation
Steamboat is pulling double duty! Despite eventually cutting off the ring on Steamboat and working him over, it’s clear Hitman & Anvil are not on top of their game. They’re irate that Steamboat was added to the match, they thought they could cheat their way into a Handicap Match for the Tag Team Titles! Steamboat flies off the top rope and wipes Neidhart out with a beautiful Cross Body Block, gaining the three count and the win for his team!

Animal was legit hurt, setting up this alteration. It kind of works out, because this was supposed to the finale match, the rubber match between the Road Warriors & Hart Foundation over the Tag Team Titles. Bret was going to move on to feud with Steamboat over the IC Title, so this just sets it up differently.

Animal should recover in a couple weeks, so the big finale match will happen in December ’87. Neidhart, though, now has a nagging injury after this match, leaving me to decide what to do. Still have the finale match and have Neidhart work with the injury? Or do the finale match with Owen Hart replacing the Anvil? Either way, Road Warriors will be victorious, and move onto their next challengers!

Team Hayes & Muraco vs Team Brainbusters

Team Hayes & Muraco: *Co-Captains* Michael Hayes & Magnificent Muraco, Tommy Rich, & The Mechanics (Dynamite Kid & Curt Hennig)

Team Brainbusters: *Co-Captains* Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, The (Macho) King’s Court (Royal Knight, Royal Bishop, & Royal Rook)

(Knight = Butch Reed, Bishop = Bill Eadie, Rook = Hercules, all masked)

The Macho King will be disappointed, because Hayes & Muraco’s team manage to eliminate all three masked men to start off the match. Left by themselves, Arn & Tully use dirty tactics to pick through the opposing team, including blinding Michael Hayes with powder. First Rich, then Dynamite, then Hennig, then Muraco! The Brainbusters eliminate them all! Clearly injured, Hayes is left alone, but he tries to fight through squinted eyes, and nearly pulls off the upset. But eventually, Tully Blanchard hits Hayes with a punishing Piledriver, putting him away. The Brainbusters survive!

Roddy’s Rowdies vs The Heenan Family

Roddy’s Rowdies: *Captain* Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Sgt. Slaughter, Brutus Beefcake, & Jimmy Snuka

The Heenan Family: *Captain* Andre The Giant, Paul Orndoff, King Kong Bundy, Haku, & Rick Rude

Andre is dominating to start, eliminating Beefcake & Snuka single handedly. But when Andre gets his hands around heated rival Piper’s throat, he makes the mistake of throwing down the referee when the ref tries to break it up. Andre gets himself DQ’ed, thus Heenan Family loses their big time advantage! Roddy’s Rowdies then eliminate Haku & Rude, gaining the advantage. Orndoff rolls up Slaughter with his feet on the ropes. Lawler puts away his rival Bundy with the classic Fist Drop off the second rope. Bundy drags Lawler from the ring and the two brawl, leading to Lawler getting Counted Out. Down to one on one, Piper wins it when he snatches the brass knuckles Bobby Heenan tries to slip in to Orndoff. Mr. Wonderful is knocked out cold with one punch, and the referee never caught Piper! Hot Rod is the Sole Survivor!

The Main Event!
WWF World Heavyweight Championship Match!
“Macho King” Randy Savage ( C ) vs “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan

The epic rematch finally happens, after Hogan was robbed of his WWF Title back at Summerslam. And you know what? It goes down awfully similar! Hogan rallies back in the epic counter. The barrage of fists, off the ropes goes Savage, and Hogan drops him with the Big Boot! Hogan calls for the Leg Drop! Wait, here’s the King’s Court, the loyal followers of the Macho King! Savage’s masked court members climb onto the apron, and Hogan knocks them all off!

Hogan goes off the ropes and hits the Leg Drop! BOOM! He hits it! Hogan goes to cover, but there! It’s the masked man from Summer Slam! The man in all black who cost Hogan the WWF Title! The masked man begins to attack Hogan, leaving the referee no choice but to call for the Disqualification! Hogan has been robbed again!

His job done, the mysterious masked man tries to escape, but Hogan grabs him before he can race off! Hogan clobbers him! Hogan has him by the mask! Hulk rips it off! It’s….it’s….Vince McMahon??!! The Owner of the WWF is the one who screwed Hogan?! But why?! Enraged, Hogan continues to clobber McMahon all over the ring, until finally members of the King’s Court manage to pull Vince out of the ring! The Macho Kingdom (with Vince) then escape up the aisle. Savage is in the middle of them all, the WWF World Title raised high! Hogan is left all alone in the ring, completely baffled.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we just witnessed the biggest screwjob in the history of professional wrestling! Vince McMahon, President of WWF, has screwed Hulk Hogan, the man who made the WWF what it is today!

Just held ROH A Touch of Flair and Funk (Ric and Terry memorial show) and had the new era ushered in when a debuting Reigns and Uso's taking out face champion Marty Scurll after a brutal 30 minute iron man WHC title defense against Will Ospreay. 2024 is gonna be an interesting year.

Just got through IYH - December 1995. Here's a rundown.

Goldust took care of Bam Bam on the preshow. The Kliq and Bam Bam have been quiet for now, which means that he'll stay around for now. Vader won a Battle Royal, and he'll feud with Bam Bam now to give him something to do.

Bulldog retained against Ahmed thanks to Bob Backlund, who is still trying to prove Ahmed doesn't belong in the big leagues. Ahmed will crush him at the Rumble most likely to put an end to this.

Skip and Dean Douglas beat the Gunns for the number one contender spot for the tag team titles. I like this team a lot - so maybe a title change is coming?

Ted DiBiase challenged 123 Kid to come to IYH to face off his Crown Jewel for the returing Million Dollar Championship. That "Crown Jewel" is Steve Austin, which HHH seems displeased about - he thought he was the "Crown Jewel". But, we're saving that for later. Right now, Austin wins his debut for the title.

Lawler and Yankem were floating, waiting for their Undertaker feud to start, so I gave them a tag title shot. They performed better than expected, even with Jerry off his game. I didn't expect Kane to improve yet, so this is a good sign, even if he's bound for the developmental company. Steiners retain and will face Brain and Brawn at the Rumble.

Taker locks King Mabel in the casket for the win and to end this feud. Never cared for Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy Five, so this feud was really one-sided. The druids, played by Edge, Christian, Rock, and the Hardys, drag him off to developmental with them. He may come back as Viscera one day.

Diesel and Yoko have great chemistry, but can only manage a B. Thank god they didn't get the main, especially with the Pay Per View providers complaining. Yoko falls back in line with Camp Cornette, and Diesel still manages to have a positive impact on business as Figurehead. Well, dang, now what do I do about that eventual heel turn?

Bret bested Owen, Razor and HBK to win a title shot at the Rumble. Great contest and my best PPV match yet (who figured). Bret carries his momentum to the Rumble against Big Daddy Cool, and he'll probably win the belt there.

Quiet month backstage. Marty failed a test for hard drugs, and I fined him, to the applause of the Kliq. Other way around, they'd want my head. Marty's got a big morale issues, so unfortunately RIP New Rockers (probably).

Stole Brian Pillman from WCW. He'll be advertised as "Flyin' Brian", but he'll start to show his Loose Cannon ways slowly but surely. I also picked up Ron Simmons as another babyface to feud with guys. Don't think I'll go NOD with him, but Bradshaw will probably show up eventually.

On to the Rumble!

Thanks, would do a Diary here on the boards if I had the time. Have to settle for writing up the major PPVs in my games.

Yeah, Vince is too good of an entertainer not to be put to good use. Plus, his announcing stats aren't very good anyway. Not exactly sure where I'm going with the McMahon - Savage alliance, just going with the flow. I know McMahon will continue feuding with Hogan no matter where I go, kind of like a jealously angle that Hogan gets all the credit for turning WWF into what it is (ala 2003).

Welp, I put up so much work to build up to Bret going off as a singles competitor and leader of the Hart Foundation. Anvil and Owen would become the primary tag team, Brian Pillman would join, and later Davey Boy when he's back from rehab.

Already hit my first bump, finding out that Bret & Steamboat have awful chemistry via house show booking. Great!

I've put so much work into setting this feud up, I'm just going to suck it up and hope for the best. I'm avoiding Triple Threats and Fatal Four Ways, because no company did them in the late 80s, so hopefully Hitman and Dragon can still have some solid matches. Keep this feud hot with great angles.

It's been an odd game with Steamboat. He keeps up ending up with bad chemistry with my top heel stars outside Savage & Bob Orton. Legit, like five guys now! I might have to avoid the game's advice and turn Steamboat heel. Hmmmm......sounds crazy enough to be awesomely fun!

The biggest show of the year was not the show of the year, but I did win that prize. woohoo That was the September show headlined by Superman and Kane.

Hogan and Storm Shadow won the match of the year. 100 for a no contest. Can't beat it.

We saved something for later, man. Just imagine next time when I drop that leg, brother. That stinky Dwayne Melter will have to rewrite his whole rating book, dude. Once his jaw is picked up off the floor, man. Now whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan, 200 ratings and the largest arms in the world runs wild on you?????

Flashpoint got me a 92.

This guy was rated number one. Ryo Kusanagi. Only 21. Good luck to anybody else trying to win wrestler of the year.

Superman and Nemesis were rated 88. It was good but Nemesis don't sell crap, son.

Lois Lane won announcer of the year. Batman was my highest rated wrestler. (29) Superman was 57. Ouch.

*update.* Rise to national. Warming up period. Yay. Last update

Plans change.

It is January. We have a vacant world title.

WOOOOOO. Nope, Flair isn't the next guy coming in. Not even going to do that Road Warriors storyline. Just concentrating on what I have. Undertaker and Casey Jones have the makings of formidable foes anyway.

But, we will have a new champion much earlier than expected. Making my own royal rumble. Pins and submissions allowed to go along with over the top rope. 30 entrants.

One insider on blueit said the real smart money is on Bret Hart. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Bulldog/Razor surprisingly (or disappointingly) put up MOTN in the opener. Vader runs in and destroys Razor to give Bulldog the victory. Bulldog sneaks away again thanks to interference, and I'll probably give him a fill-in opponent for February's IYH. All of this losing will start to get to Razor soon.

Ahmed finally gets rid of Backlund for good by crushing him in 5 minutes. Ahmed's on the upswing. Don't have him spot finalized for Mania yet, but I've got a feeling about where he'll end up.

Austin takes care of the PPV-debuting Ron Simmons to retain thanks to Jeff Jarrett. The idea for Jarrett is that he's trying to get into the MDC or Camp Cornette, but neither really want him. I don't like Jarrett. Ron is the All-American gimmick, straight from WCW. Both men were off their game, so this one kinda flopped. Simmons will face off with Jarrett at Feb's IYH, and Austin will put up another defence.

Sid is starting to turn face, with the idea that Ted is starting to fall behind on his salary. He's scheduled to turn face at Mania.

Brain and Brawn beat the Steiners for the belts with a dirty finish. Weird, Dean nailed Rick with a clipboard right in front of the refs, and he didn't call for a DQ. What happened there? MDC don't care - new champs!

The ROYAL RRUMMBLEEE saw HBK get the win, last eliminating Owen. Razor lasted the longest, Vader eliminated the most. Unoriginal booking, but I'm confident Shawn will put up great match grades (which is more than I can say about Diesel). Who will Shawn face?

Bret beat Diesel to win the belt. I consider myself a fan of Nash, but he just can't put up the match grades that I need from a champ. He turned heel on the go-home show without a complaint (yes!). I was real worried that he would refuse. This also means that he's now a bad figurehead (rad), which means that he's probably going to get dropped from the spot.

Bret/HBK is penciled in for Mania. Again, not creative, but I know it will deliver. Expect some shady stuff to happen here. It's almost like some groundwork has already been laid...

I purchased the UWA for a half a million, and we jump 20 points in Mexico. We've a PPV deal now, and are set up a better TV deal at the end of next month.

HHH and Sunny have tension now - which is not good. Sunny is turning people against HHH, and likewise. The revenge of Bam Bam (who may get fired soon). The problem is that HHH now has a long list of folks against him. Not a lot of important people, but, still, a sizable amount.

Going to bite the bullet and drop Diesel from his figurehead spot. His heel turn finally turned him into a negative influence on business. I fired Marty Jannety cause the list of people against was just too long. I'm going to drop him right now - I'll edit in the reaction.

EDIT: He's cool with it! Mission accomplished.
