fighters availability

when creating an event say a whole year away, i can see that Fighter X is available but his still resting from his last fight. Fine. No problem.

But id love to be able to book him anyway and not have to wait until rested. A years time 99% of the time he is going to be fit and ready. Trouble is, i have to wait until so and so day. and by that time ive forgot and then its a week before the event and Fighter Z has no opponent because i forgot all about Fighter X.

Just wanna reiterate this is much needed. Would it be possible to fix it with a patch? Would allow for much better and less complicated gameplay.

It would indeed be very helpful. We know it's not realistic as it's supposed to be the period where fighters clear their minds and take some time off and they don't want to bother with those things.

But then again, there's often immediate talks of next bouts and title shots the day after the event, so fighters generally have an idea who they might face next. Just not the date, though sometimes that is also hinted.

It would indeed save a LOT of time and annoying scheduling if this were an option.
