~New Japan Pro Wrestling G-1 Tag League Finals.

Preview.

Quote:

~The G-1 Tag League has seen many of the great matches between, legends, rookies, rivals, mostly the rising ones. The G-1 tag league started with mostly with normal matches, but soon it was turned around. There were many events that took place between the Tag league. Most notably Okada joining Nakamura’s faction “RISE”. Nakamura was impressed by Okada showcase and accepted his request. Okada is a rookie, which is something quite interesting to how he is showing himself, which is like an “Rising One”.

~Lets talk about the teams which participated in the tournament. From Block A Manabu Nakanishi & Takao Omori scored a 0. Which is really something that was not accepted. Omori was the main reason to which there are many loses. Nakanishi was too frustrated with their performance and thus he lost at the final round against “Okada & Goto”. They are the only one to score a 0 in this tournament.

~Masato Tanaka & Tomohiro Ishii was one of great highlight in the tournament. Everyone thought this time they would take the “G-1 Tag League”, but soon it was all gone down, since they lost is to “Shinsuke Nakamura & Toru Yano”. The final match itself was legendary, with all the passion involved to prove themselves to everyone, and Shinsuke’s chance to gain his momentum back.

~Yuji Nagata & Wataru Inoue did their best to be the middle track with decent points, to not embarrass themselves. They did very good showcasing of themselves. Hirooki Goto & Kazuchika Okada also did not embarrass themselves, Okada also showed to why he can be someone great. Hirooki Goto still has his way to the top.

~From the Block B we have “Apollo 55” Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi, tension heated between themselves. Nobody is sure to where this will lead. The tension grew due to losing to “Gedo & Jado” quite humiliating way, “Apollo 55” the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champions should have won there, but this was clearly an upset. Gedo & Jado did their showing in the tournament, but lost in the finalist decision’s match against Masahiro Chono & AKIRA. Masahiro Chono the highest pointers in the Block are now set to be the finals against “Shinsuke Nakamura & Toru Yano”.

~Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson did some damage to the “Apollo 55” humiliating themselves more, but they too lost to “Masahiro Chono & AKIRA”. The G-1 Climax winner Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma was close to the victory but also lost the leading pointer in the tournament.

~The Match is set for the finals “~Masahiro Chono & AKIRA vs. ~Shinsuke Nakamura & Toru Yano”.

New Japan Pro Wrestling.
An Interview with New Japan Booker "Gedo"
Notes from the Interview and Highlights.

Quote:

~For the first time ever we are starting with a new theme song for the “Tour” Shows. Mostly it’s not a TV, but we will be able to get the deal real soon. The wrestlers are working really hard. I myself need to give them something in return. “Some words will trigger certain words”, “New Japan Pro Wrestling” is trying to get some “Working agreement” deals with big companies. Most notable will be a “Jackpot” if we could get a working deal with “WWE”, but that’s too much for now and too much of a dream. This does not mean that we can never get a deal. If that’s not possible then I really, really have to take some other decisions…

~There are not many ways to defeat ‘WWE’, if I ever chose to go in that direction it will be the complete defeat for me, and the company will die. Time is not right to strike now, we simply need to wait to that matter, for now we can simply forget even being in the same league as them. We need to build ourselves in “Japan” first and then take the chance to grow ourselves in the outside region, and if we are successful then we can have a chance to grow in a ‘Global’ way. We will strike or even ask for a ‘deal’ when the time is right…

~If you compare us to the “WWE” then it would be a mistake. We are producing something different here, rather than just putting wrestlers in storylines and making them look like fool or especially the Jobber they produce, then making them win without any cool reasons, that’s not what I want. WWE has very good roster and Talents elements, but there are not many that can take their replacements. We are producing “Strong Style” here, it was something “Weird” in the era of Mr. Inoki, but no in this era. He thought people liked his style very much, and even built to toward ‘MMA’ which was huge mistake. He though people liked to punch each other until one of them coughs out blood. Is that what you want to see in pro wrestling? My answer is no, simply no…

~We want to give people something to watch, we want people to appreciate wrestling, we don’t want to say “Yeah, we’re going with strong style” and tell people to like it, even order it. Which fool would do that? Pro Wrestling is fun and that’s what it should be. It might be entertainment there, well of course like it, I mean why, wouldn’t anyone. When I consider our company’s product, I am certainly sure that we produce something different, well it’s “Wrestling” itself, no strong style no bullshit…

~To final my words, I would like thank everyone, my family, and especially Jado, who is my “Best Friend” my brother, my family. I would also say that if you are willing to join “New Japan Pro Wrestling”, please apply the application for the ‘New Japan Dojo’ immediately. Thank you for the support and Thank you again everyone…one final thing, something new is about to happen…Stay tuned….
Card for Prediction:

~’IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions” Apollo 55 (Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi) vs. “IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion” Mistico & Averno
~Gedo & Jado vs. Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask IV

~”IWGP Heavyweight Champion” Hiroshi Tanahashi, Claudio Castagnoli, Yuji Nagata, Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Brock Lesnar, Karl Anderson, Giant Bernard & ???
