The announcers welcome us to the show and hype Mustafa Ali versus Ariya Daivari amd Drew Gulak teaming with Jack Gallagher versus Cedric Alexander and Brian Kendrick.

Rating: 6.1

205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick comes out to the stage and announces that at the Royal Rumble, Buddy Murphy will defend his WWE Cruiserweight Championship in a four corners match. His three challengers will be decided in the coming weeks beginning tonight when Kalisto goes one on one with Hideo Itami.

Rating: 6.1

Quote:

The first match is everything that 205 has grown to become. The two trade the offense back and forth several times, incorporating high flying maneuvers, but it’s Ali who finally takes control and puts Daivari away with a 450 splash.

Winner by Pinfall: Mustafa Ali
Rating: 5.7

Backstage, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy is casually hanging out. He looks to the camera and says that most of the lesser superstars on 205 would be worried when they’re told they’ll defend against three men at the Royal Rumble, but not the Juggernaut. He’s bigger, he’s stronger, and he’s better than everyone else and in a few weeks he’ll prove it once again.

Rating: 5.7

Quote:

Pretty standard tag match in the early going but it becomes clear that after an exchange with Alexander, Gallagher appears hurt and quickly tags out, dropping down to the ringside floor and being looked at by one of the WWE doctors. Gulak carries his team’s effort in the match after that and faced both Alexander and Kendrick.

Half way through the match Lio Rush walks down to ringside and annoyingly begins to heckle Alexander. Gulak’s opportunity arrives when Kendrick whips Gulak into the corner but he reverses it and Kendrick accidentally slams into Alexander, who is distracted by Lio Rush, knocking him off the apron. Kendrick staggers back and Gulak rolls him up with added leverage from grabbing the rope unseen by the referee for the three count.

Winners by Pinfall: Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher
Rating: 5.9

Cedric Alexander looks furious as Lio Rush taunts him, clearly happy with causing the pinfall through his distraction. Vic Joseph says he just got word from Drake Maverick that next week it will be Rush versus Alexander for the second spot in the four way match at the Royal Rumble!

Rating: 5.2

Quote:

Itami controls the opening bell, hammering Kalisto with a strong style attack of strikes but the masked fan favorite makes a comeback, flipping over Itami on a charge into the corner and drop kicking him chest first into the same corner. Itami is staggered but when Kalisto presses his advantage, Itami stops him cold with a knee to the chest and a snapping neckbreaker for a close two count. Kalisto looks like he’s in trouble and Itami is confidant as he whips Kalisto into the ropes but Kalisto ducks a clothesline and hits Salida del Sol out of nowhere for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Kalisto:
Rating: 5.9

The Lucha House Party comes down to the ring and celebrates along with their pinata as the show goes off the air.

The show begins with a match already in action. Conners blasts Williams with a lariat to start the match and he employs a ground and pound style to keep the aerial artist from taking leap. Some stiff forearm shots, a brutal backbreaker finds Kenny Williams nearly beaten by a 2 count. Conners nails Don't Look Down and covers...1...2..Williams kicks out barely.
Conners goes for it again but, Williams reverses into a TBone Suplex and takes to the air with a flying shooting star for a 2 count. Williams employs stiff kicks of his own before going up top and nailing a flying forearm that knocks Conners down. Williams dispatches Conners to the floor and runs through the ropes in a spinning suicide dive and puts Conners back in the ring. He goes up top and nails a 450 for the 1..2..3.

Winner by Pinfall: Kenny Williams

The Announcers excitedly hype tonight’s main event. Pete Dunne vs Wolfgang in a non-title match tonight!

As Toni Storm comes out, we see clips of her winning the Mae Young Classic and are told that at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool she will challenge for the NXT UK Women's Title against Rhea Ripley. Nina starts out mocking Toni Storm calling her the "chosen one" and slaps her dead in the face. Storm responds with a series of stiff slaps, a boot to Nina's stomach, bouncing off the ropes and delivering a stiff kick to Samuel's face. From there it is all Toni Storm as she puts away Nina Samuels in short order with the Storm Zero for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall: Toni Storm
Rating: 18

Following the win, Rhea Ripley hits the ring which causes Toni to be surprised. Ripley calls her a “legend” and shakes Toni’s hand but in a way that makes Storm wonder if Rhea means it. Rhea says “watch me next week” and leaves the ring while Storm watches her go.

Thorne and Miller open this match with some proficient tag team wrestling keeping Gibson on the apron and Drake in the ring. Drake keeps hanging on as The Mighty use power double team moves to try to earn the opportunity to go to the UK Tag Title finals but can never secure a pinfall. Finally, Drake takes out Shane Thorne with a reverse GTS and that allows him to tag in Zack Gibson who starts to throw The Mighty around the ring. The bruiser from Liverpool scores with a Powerbomb into a backbraker on Miller but only gets a two count. Thorne and Miller try to doubleteam Gibson but this brings back in Drake and before long Drake throws Nick Miller up into the air and plants him face first onto Gibson's bended knee for a knock out shot and the three count.

Winner by Pinfall and advancing to the UK Tag Team Title Finals at TakeOver to challenge Mustache Mountain:: Zack Gibson & James Drake - The Grizzled Young Veterans
Rating: 27

In the back, Joe Coffey cuts a promo on NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne. He says that he does not fear the Bruiserweight because Gallus are bruisers themselves. At NXT UK's first TakeOver, Coffey will show Pete Dunne that the person everyone should be afraid of, is him. 9 days are all that is left in the reign of the Bruiserweight. Take that title, shine it up, and get ready for the fight of your life. If Dunne can survive tonight that is. Wolfgang will get him ripe and Coffey will finish the job because at TakeOver, Gallus will rule the United Kingdom.

Our main event is next!

NON TITLE MATCH

As soon as Dunne enters the ring, Wolfgang is on him with a charging block that sends the champion through the ropes and to the floor. On the floor, Wolfgang picks up the Bruiserweight and slams him back first into the ring post before bodyslamming Dunne hard onto the ring barrier. Back inside the ring, its clear that Wolfgang's goal is to injure Dunne before TakeOver in 9 days. Wolfgang delivers a spear that nearly crushes the champ for a 2 count. He drops Dunne with a series of hard suplexs and knee shots to the stomach and nearly scores a pinfall. Wolfgang scores with the Avalanche TKO and covers...1.....2....Dunne barely kicks out. Wolfgang goes for a spear again but, Dunne is able to kick him dead in his face and begin a series of strikes and limb contortments that soon has the big man screaming for mercy. When Dunne signals for the Bitter End, Joe Coffey runs out for a distraction. Wolfgang takes advantage with a back elbow, goes up top and flies off for a Swanton but, Dunne puts his knees up and Wolfgang lands neck first onto the knees. The Bruiserweight hits the Bitter End and points at Coffey as he covers...1...2...3.

Winner by Pinfall: Pete Dunne
Rating: 20

Following the win, Coffey distracts Dunne again allowing Wolfgang to again attack the champ. When Pete Dunne fights back, Coffey gets inside the ring this and blasts him from behind. This is too much for the champ to bear and soon, Pete Dunne is caught with the rotating elbow to the face and is knocked out cold.

NXT UK ends with Joe Coffey and Wolfgang, 2/3 of Gallus, standing over the fallen champion looking down in disgust with Coffey holding the NXT UK title high.

A video is shown of last week highlighting Kurt Angle defeating Baron Corbin to end the Constable’s reign of terror and Dean Ambrose intentionally getting disqualified against Finn Balor and looking to severely injure him before Seth Rollins saved the day.

Rating: 8.4

When the show begins Paul Heyman, who is already in the ring, is introduced to the crowd. He says that last week Braun Strowman decided to offer a detour from Suplex City to Monsterville where supposedly his client, BROCK LESNAR, will get...those...hands. All of this would be very frightening if Heyman and Lesnar had not heard this story before but they have and history has shown two things. BROCK LESNAR is the reigning, defending, undisputed, Universal Champion...and Braun Strowman is nothing but the Beast’s bitch. Before Heyman can go further…..

Braun Strowman comes out and begins marching down to the ring when a host of officials and referees run past him and try and slow him down.

General Manager Kurt Angle comes out and tells Strowman not to touch Heyman but if he wants to take out his anger he’s going to let Braun start a revenge tour on his way to the Rumble and Lesnar. Tonight Strowman will face one of the men who put him out of action, Bobby Lashley. Strowman nods, seemingly happy with the news but casts a glare at Heyman all the same.

Early on the Riott Squad score some close pinfall attempts at the Boss N Hug Connection before Sasha takes control. After dominating Ruby, Bayley is tagged in and the Riott Squad is able to take over, cutting her off from Sasha and really putting a beat down. True to Bayley's never say die attitude, she will not succumb and keeps trying to take in Sasha. At one point in the match, Morgan throws Bayley to the floor and Ruby and Liv double team her on the floor while Sasha tries to break it up and the ref stops the Boss. In the ring again, Liv scores with a reverse roundhouse kick for the 1...2....broken up by Sasha who drops Liv on her head with a T-Bone Suplex. Sasha gets back to her corner as Bayley crawls and just as Liv gets to Bayley, she makes the hot tag. Sasha comes in and floors Ruby immediately with a forearm and then goes to work on Liv. Ruby runs in from behind and blasts Sasha and the Riott Squad beat down Sasha until Bayley runs back into the ring and charges at Ruby with a crossbody block that sends them both tumbling from the ring. Sasha quickly locks in the Banks Statement as Liv tries to get to the ropes. Ruby tries to come in to help but, Bayley has her by the feet as Liv taps.

Winners by Submission: The Boss N Hug Connection
Rating: 7.9

As Bayley celebrates, Sasha gets contemplative and grabs a mic. She walks up to Bayley and says that she is proud of that win tonight. And she is thrilled that they have fixed their issues but, Bayley needs to know something. The Royal Rumble is coming and with it, the chance to live a dream at Wrestlemania. Sasha Banks will be the winner of the Women's Royal Rumble match and she will do it even if it means ending Bayley's dream. Bayley looks at her and takes the mic and says "ditto". The two shake hands and hug, the friendship secure as the Rumble looms.

Pretty standard tag match but the Revival control most of the match, using old school tag tactics and the B-Team never really get any momentum. Dallas finally falls victim to the Shatter Machine for the 1-2-3.

Winners by Pinfall: The Revival

After the match the Revival remain in the ring and bring in a mic. Dawson says that 2019 is going to be the year of the Top Guys. That means putting the gold around their waists and that means the number one target is the AOP. They don’t care how big or tough the AOP think they are, the Revival won’t rest until the RAW Tag Team Championships belong to them!

Nia comes out to the ring clearly cocky. She gets in the ring and gloats openly about taking out Ronda Rousey last week. Oh, sure, Ronda retained her Raw Women's Championship..for now..but, that is just a battle in a war. And last week, Nia Jax was the real winner. (Footage airs of the destruction of Ronda Rousey at the hands of Jax). Nia laughs and talks about how much fun it was to break the "baddest woman in the planet" apart and how at the Royal Rumble Nia wil...

Natayla comes out ready for a fight. She gets into the ring and Nia feigns confusion but then says "whats wrong Nattie? Could it be that I beat your best friend's ass last week and sent her to the hospital?” Natalya looks furious when they’re interrupted…..

Alexa Bliss comes out and says that since it’s clear they want a piece of each other she’s more than happy to accommodate. Nia Jax versus Natalya in another Bliss Special and it happens right now!

Rating: 8.0

Nia and Natayla size each other up with Nia getting a smile on her face and says audibly. "hows Ronda?". That pisses Nattie off and she goes at Nia but, the Samoan throws Nattie into a corner and squashes her. Nia goes for a cover 1...2..Nattie kicks out. Nia smiles like this is a game and throws Natayla around the ring nailing her with punishing power moves including a belly to belly and a leg drop but Nattie will not die. Nia gets angrier that she cant put away Neidhart and that causes her to make a mistake when she throws Nattie into a corner and charges but Nattie moves and Nia hits her chest hard into the turnbuckle, stumbles back and Nattie is able to roll her down and cover...1....2....Nia barely kicks out. Nattie goes for the Sharpshooter and nearly gets it on Jax but she uses her power to kick Nattie backwards. When Nattie goes on the attack again, Nia hits the Samoan Drop. Cover...1....2...Nattie kicks out again. This time Nia is furious and she waits for Nattie to get up, she swings but Nattie ducks, bounces off the ropes and runs directly into a stiff punch in the face from Jax knocking her out. Jax covers for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall: Nia Jax

We’re shown a replay of last week when Bobby Roode turned on his partner Chad Gable, viciously attacking him on their way to the ring.

Bobby Lashley and his hype man Lio Rush come down to the ring. Rush says that Kurt Angle called this the beginning of Braun Strowman’s revenge tour but all this is going to be is a replay of the beatdown the Almighty Bobby Lashley gave him the last time. Before he can go on he’s interrupted by Strowman’s music and the crowd erupts.

Rating: 6.8

Strowman wastes no time going straight for Lashley and the two collide in the middle of the ring. They go through some traditional big man routines like running shoulder blocks that don’t move the other guy before they settle down into a brawl that lasts several minutes, in and out of the ring. Lashley gains the upper hand when he ambushes Strowman getting back into the ring and as Lashley punishes the Monster, Lio Rush on the outside runs his mouth. But Rush is soon silent when Lashley shows intense strength by lifting up Strowman and delivering a Dominator, however when Lashley turns his back to flex for the crowd, an angry Strowman slowly gets to his feet. Styles hits the ground running, putting on a fast paced clinic on Young and hitting him from every direction. Wolfe and Dain enter but are intercepted by the Good Brothers and taken to the outside. Charlotte stands in the ring basking in the glory and adoration of the fans. She says that being a second generation star in this business is harder than anyone can know. Being a Flair is tougher than you would even imagine and being a trailblazer who changed an industry? Few people walking the face of this earth can know what that is like. In just a few weeks, the Royal Rumble will be here and, yet again, Charlotte will walk down to the ring not as a competitor but, as Smackdown Women's Champion waiting to find out who will be humbled at Wrestlemania. Last year a phenom from Japan, an Empress of Tomorrow, bowed down to the Queen. This year will be no different. Because, as far as Carmella has come as a competitor, lets face the fact that she cannot defeat a Flair here tonight. So, bring her out, lets get through this minor irritation and then it is on to the Road to Wrestlemania. In the shadow of New York City, this Flair will continue to blaze her trail to immortality and the rest of the women in this company and NXT? They will all fall to bended knee, tbey will all look up in adoration at the champ and, yes, they will all bow down....to....the....Queen. WOOOOOO!

She scores with a reverse DDT before wearing down the champ with a knee to the back of the neck but Charlotte won't submit. The Queen is able to get out of the punishing hold and nail some chops before delivering a Spear for a close two count. When Charlotte goes for the Figure Four, Mella reverses it into a Small Package for the 1...2...Charlotte kicks out. Mella goes for and locks in the Code of Silence. Charlotte desperately goes for the ropes and reaches out and makes it to the ropes by her finger tips. Carmella charges with a clothesline but Charlotte ducks, kicks Mella in the stomach and nails the Natural Selection. Cover...1....2....Carmella kicks out. Charlotte is stunned and nails the Spear again before finally locking in the Figure Four. As soon as NXT opens, the crowd in Orlando is greeted with Tomasso Ciampa's music as the NXT Champion comes down to the ring. He tells everyone that he promised to show this week and prove a point. He feels that the NXT Universe disrespects him. He knows that Aleister Black disrespects him. But the fact remains that Tommaso Ciampa is the greatest NXT Champion in the history of this company. And tonight, the champ will prove it yet again. Because tonight, the champ is issuing an open challenge for this belt against anyone that William Regal chooses in the main event. And Aleister? He better be watching.

The scene opens with four feet. We see two men in traditional viking boots and as the camera pans up, the men are in more traditional viking attire. The camera pans all the way up and it is revealed that the two men are Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly from the Undisputed Era. They try to sound burly and angry but then begin a big coughing spell and Roderick says "enough of this crap". The champs start mocking War Raiders for the "stupid Ren Faire outfits" that they wear and how they talk. But what is more insidious is how that these two idiots think they can be tag team champions. The Undisputed Era doesn't engage in cos-play on national television. The champs just beat people up and make them cry like little girls. And that is exactly what's in the future of War Machine at TakeOver because that's...Undisputed. Roddy asks if they can go put on normal clothes now and Kyle says "yes, I think I'm chaffing, man" and pulls at the outfit around his crotch as the champs walk out of the room.

Regal reminds him that he said anyone in NXT. Ciampa says "I don't give a damn who it is, I am proving a point tonight". Regal, reluctantly, tells Ciampa "Just remember, sunshine, that you asked for this". Regal walks away and then the music of his challenger plays...

Sullivan goes for another lariat but, Ciampa ducks under and is able to nail a lariat of his own from behind. Ciampa drops Sullivan with a suplex and throws the challenger to the floor. The champ flies off the top with a double leg stop and tries to roll the challenger back in but Sullivan nails an elbow to the jaw and throws Ciampa to the stairs. Sullivan charges but the champ moves and Sullivan's knee clips the stairs. Ciampa rolls the challenger into the ring locks in a modified Texas Cloverleaf with the challenger screaming in pain but is somehow able to make it to the ropes. The champ signals its over but the challenger throws him into the ropes and nails the pop up powerslam. Cover...1...2..Ciampa kicks out. When they return, Aleister Black is sitting Indian style in the center of the ring and turns and looks up at Ciampa. The sight of the Black scares the life out of Tommaso who bails from the ring and escapes through the crowd. Black never takes his eyes off him and gets an intense smile as Ciampa runs out of the arena to end this week's edition of NXT.

NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool opens with a simple spotlight in the center of the ring. From the blackness steps Triple H as the crowd roars. He says that five years ago, they had a simple and small goal. A goal to rebuild, rebrand and, yes, fix sports-entertainment by providing a platform for the youngest and most exciting talent in the world to flourish. When began as a small goal became a revolution that has gone global. And tonight, the fans of the United Kingdom get to experience that revolution themselves. "Tonight, the fans of the United Kingdom get to see their talent, their countrymen and women shine with the whole world watching. This is their moment. This is your movement. Because the world is watching. We are NXT UK and the spotlight belongs to you." When his speech ends, the spotlights come up and the Empress Ballroom is lit as the crowd chants "We are NXT".

Bate nearly gives in as the crowd wills him to stay in it as the Grizzled Young Veterans dump him to the floor and double team him including a double powerbomb spot on to the guard rail. When Gibson goes for the big boot in the corner, Bate is able to get out of the way and do a backstabber that allows him to make the hot tag to Trent Seven. Seven charges Gibson but he was able to tag in his partner James Drake and Seven and Drake go to war scoring near falls on each other. A Vignette is shown recapping last week’s show specifically highlights concerning Dean Ambrose severely injuring Seth Rollins, and Kurt Angle putting Alexa Bliss on the spot leading to tonight’s Royal Rumble warmup for the Women’s Division.

The show begins with Braun Strowman’s music playing and the crowd comes to its feet as the Monster makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a mic and says that in two weeks at the Royal Rumble he’s going to become the new WWE Universal Champion when Brock Lesnar gets these hands but before that he’s got some business to attend to. Last week was the first chapter of the Braun Strowman revenge tour and tonight it’s going to be the second, so Drew McIntyre, get down to this ring and take the ass whipping you deserve!

It isn’t long before McIntyre comes out and he looks like he’s ready for a fight too.

These two square off and show off the power both of them possess but it’s Strowman who gets the upper hand by giving those hands to McIntyre. After a series of running avalanches in the corner, McIntyre is wobbly on his feet and Strowman picks him up for the powerslam but as he seeks approval from the crowd, Dolph Ziggler runs in and chop blocks Strowman behind the knee, causing a disqualification.

Winner by Disqualification: Braun Strowman

Ziggler keeps pounding on Strowman’s back while he has an advantage but it doesn’t last long. Strowman recovers from the cheapshot and grabs Ziggler by the throat, before converting it into a military press and throwing Ziggler over the top rope onto McIntyre who catches him and falls in the process.

It’s a plot and when Elias follows he finds himself face first into the ring post. Ambrose goes to work with a ruthless vigor, eventually getting Elias back into the ring but he only gets a two count. Elias is trying his best to get back on his feet but Ambrose is all over him, and when Elias tries a last desperate attempt to regain control with a swinging neckbreaker, Ambrose slips out, kicks him in the stomach and hits Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Dean Ambrose

After the match, Ambrose rolls out to the outside and collects Elias’ guitar. He gets back in and as Elias struggles to get back to his feet, Ambrose examines the instrument, before shrugging and blasting it across Elias’ back, splintering the guitar in a hundred pieces. Ambrose then kicks Elias out of the ring and demands a mic. He says that if Seth Rollins has any guts he’ll come out here right now and plays to the crowd when Rollins doesn’t show---we’re also reminded by Cole that Rollins just got out of the medical facility and isn’t at the show. Ambrose says he isn’t surprised Rollins won’t face him man to man before dropping the mic and leaving the ring.

A video is shown recapping last week’s show, focusing on the Miz attacking Jeff Hardy which postponed their number one contender match, and Sonja Deville and Mandy Rose costing Becky Lynch a shot at Charlotte Flair and the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Rating: 8.6

The Bulgarian Brute’s pure strength matches up against strongstyle in this matchup, and early on it’s Rusev tossing Nakamura around the ring. He gets an early two count when he smashes Nakamura into the corner and follows it up with a side slam. Rusev is feeling it, but he makes a crucial mistake when he becomes too interested in leading a ‘Rusev Day’ chant allowing Nakamura to recover and when Rusev charges him, Nakamura delivers a devastating kick to his knee, dropping Rusev in his tracks. Nakamura focuses on the knee to the point that Rusev can’t put any weight on it. Lana is very upset but Rusev won’t give up. Finally, Nakamura hits a brutal looking Kinshasa for the win.

Winner by Pinfall and still WWE United States Champion: Shinsuke Nakamura

Rating: 7.5

We’re shown a replay of the Kinshasa that put Rusev down for the three count.

A replay of last week where Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville cost Becky Lynch her shot at Charlotte and the SmackDown Womens Championship. The video shows them running for their lives and Becky’s promised “this is not over”. A graphic airs that says coming up: Mandy Rose will take on Carmella tonight!

Rating: 8.0

The Miz is in his locker room and says tonight the A lister will defeat a washed up hasbeen who doesn’t deserve to even be named. Then the WWE Championship will come home where it belongs, into the arms of the hardest working man in the WWE.

Rating: 8.1

Quote:

This match never even gets started because as soon as the bell sounds, Becky Lynch’s music hits as The Man saunters down to the ring.

Carmella, wisely bails, as Mandy Rose is trapped. She attacks Becky as soon as she gets in the ring but, the attack is fruitless as Becky drops her on her head with a BeckSploder and then pounds away on the beauty. She locks in the Disarm-Her and Mandy screams as Paige sends SmackDown officials to run to the ring to finally break it up. The officials tend to Mandy as Becky smiles and yells “don’t mess with the Man” and heads up the aisle. Paige glares at her as she goes to the back.

Winner by Disqualification: Mandy Rose
Rating: 5.3

A highlight video of Asuka winning the Royal Rumble last year and her journey through NXT and onto the main roster airs. It ends with her promised entry into the Royal Rumble from last week and “nobody ready for Asuka”.

Rating: 7.2

Jeff Hardy is shown in his locker room with an extravagant face paint scheme. He says he will defeat the Miz and go onto the Royal Rumble where he will become the next WWE Champion. He believes in destiny and tonight his destiny is to get extreme.

Almas attacks Styles before the bell rings and keeps control for the early minutes of the match but AJ fights back, feeling the crowd’s support. Just as it appears Styles is building momentum, Zelina on the outside distract him by getting up on the apron. Styles begins arguing with her and this allows Almas to blast him from behind. Almas keeps on the pressure but he begins spending too much time taunting Styles. AJ blocks a series of punches, firing back with his own counters, and floors Almas. A few more running attacks and Almas is unsure on his feet. Styles nails the Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: AJ Styles
Rating: 7.9

[i]Following the match, Zelina Vega attempts to console Almas, but he rejects it and is visibly angry as he heads up the ramp.

Rating: 6.3

In the back Becky Lynch is preparing to leave but, security stops her. She turns around just as an irate Paige walks up to her and tells her that her night is not over. Thanks to Becky, Mandy Rose is on her way to the hospital to have her arm checked out and her status in the Royal Rumble is now in doubt. Paige tells The Man that she understands that Mandy and Sonya gave her reason to be angry and seek revenge but interrupting matches, causing destruction is not the way. But, since Becky is so pissed off, Paige will give her a chance to vent those frustrations. Her work is not done. Becky Lynch now has a match...against Sonya Deville. And that match is next.

Rating: 7.9

Quote:

Early on Becky takes it to Sonya but, to the surprise of The Man, Sonya is able to capitalize on a mistake when Becky charges her and Sonya moves forcing Becky to crash shoulder first into the ring post. Becky falls to the floor and Sonya begins to ram and slam Becky into the ring steps and does a brutal Tiger Bomb on the floor. Back in the ring Sonya uses her MMA background with a series of punches to put Lynch on the ropes. Sonya nails a devastating Spinebuster that nearly finishes off Lynch. When Soyna goes for the Ankle Lock, Becky is able to power out and turn it into a Crossface that has Deville screaming for her life. Deville is able to get to the ropes but, it doesn't help her as she is soon suplexed all over the ring and then is forced to tap out to the Disarm-Her.

Winner by Submission: Becky Lynch
Rating: 7.0

Following the win, Mandy Rose comes from the crowd having clearly not gone to the hospital. She runs in and blasts Becky from behind and soon, Sonya has joined in. Absolution lays waste to The Man until the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte comes running down to aide her on-again, off-again friend.

Together The Queen & The Man are able to clear the ring of Mandy and Sonya with both giving an uneasy nod to the other.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan comes down to the ring and sits at the announcer’s table, awaiting the number one contender match which is next!

Rating: 8.2

Quote:

The dislike between these two is evident and it’s Hardy laying into the Miz from the opening bell and he holds the momentum by using a series of aerial attacks, keeping the Miz on the defense. The Miz gains the upper hand when a risky move by Hardy doesn’t pan out. The Miz then pulls Hardy to the outside and continues his assault, clearing the announcer’s table and it appears the Miz wants to put Hardy on the table, but Hardy fights him off, and sends the Miz face first into the ringpost. Hardy puts the Miz onto the table and climbs to the top rope before flying off and crashing through the Miz and the table. Hardy rolls the Miz back into the ring after a few moments of recovery. The Miz is still out of it, and Hardy hits the Twist of Fate for the win.

NXT opens with the entire NXT locker room, male and female wrestlers, in the ring. Everyone is wearing masks of confusion when NXT General Manager, William Regal, steps to the stage. He says that in ten days NXT will take over Phoenix and on that night the NXT title will be decided between Black and Ciampa, the Triple Threat Match will determine the NXT North American Title, the Tag Team Titles are on the line just to name a few big matches for TakeOver. But, that's not why the NXT Superstars are standing in that ring.

In ten days, NXT will take over Phoenix but, the reason that NXT is even there is because the very next night is the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble Match always promises big surprises and NXT talent have made their mark in years past. This year shall be no different because Regal has just gotten off a conference call with Shane and Stephanie McMahon and they have agreed. There will be NXT talent in both the men's and women's Royal Rumble Match...and should one of NXT's talent win the Rumble...their title challenge will not take place at TakeOver: New York, it will take place in the main event aof Wrestlemania! Ladies, gentlemen, be ready for TakeOver: Phoenix but, should your name and number be called.....be ready to take over the Royal Rumble.

The crowd chants NXT while the talent realize that NXT could main event Wrestlemania. The announcers are excited as NXT goes to it's opening video.

He rolls Fish back into the ring and covers 1...2...Bobby kicks out. Black goes for the Black Mass but Fish ducks and nails the Saito Suplex. He covers for a 2 count. He clips Aleister Black from behind in the knee that Fish has hurt. He places the NXT Title on the mat and then slams Black's knee into it.
