Thumbs up A Mac Version?

Just curious about this as well, since i've seen a few people requesting this on the TEW forums: anyone here game on a Mac, or would prefer to do so?

The programming language i'm using has the ability to build natively for the Mac, so the question for this poll is: If you bought Mafia Capo, would you prefer a native Mac version rather than Windows?

Vote in the poll and let me know!

So far, 9 to 1 in favor of Windows. It appears most don't really use or care about Mac, so for now i'll probably pass on a Mac version. If it changes later, I can port it over pretty easily.

A bit late to this, but a Mac version would be extremely helpful. The only games I actually have on my Mac are all GDS games, and setting them up through Wine is an extremely annoying trial/error process. Bypassing that for Mafia Capo would be excellent, but if there's not enough demand for it I don't mind suffering just once more!

Appreciate the hard work.

Makes sense. I noticed that Mac demand ticked up a bit recently (10 to 1 against earlier on, but is now 12 to 5), so there are a few native Mac people around. If it isn't a huge pain, I may port it over to native Mac, since I do own a newer iMac system I can test on.

Awesome, thanks Derek. Looking forwards to this either way.

I am a Mac user. I would love to play a Mac version. I am willing to play it on Windows using Parallels, but it would be awesome to run it on MacOS.

It appears there is a little interest in a native Mac version. I can look into it and see if it would work, depending on the demand down the road. The programming language being used is fairly multi-platform without a lot of work (according to them anyway), so it might be very possible.

Good news for Mac people! I will be doing a native Mac version of the game when its released.

The language i'm using does it make it quite easy to do cross-platform, so those folks can be assured they'll get something they won't have to use WINE to run.
