DAVE Danger Zone TV
McGaw Arena (Tri-State)
5000 SELLOUT!

Mitch: Hello everybody and welcome to DAVE. You... are now entering the Danger Zone, I'm Mitch Naess, joined by Phil Vibert and again we offer the hottest most extreme action in all of North America.
Phil: That's a fact Mitch, and tonight it is no different, five matches on tonight, matches that the people want to see
Mitch: One of the biggest matches tonight should mark the return of none other than DAVE icon, Chris Caulfield. He's booked for a match tonight, let's see if he shows up.
Phil: Well, doctors told him he's clear this week, it isn't like Chris to miss any Danger Zone TV, especially if he's healthy.

Quote:

"Speaking of the Icon"

[As Vibert finishes his sentence, the crowd erupts for Chris Caulfield's return. Chris hits the ring and gets a mic]

Caulfield: Just two weeks ago, Eddie Peak beat me down. I was beaten and broken. It takes a lot to leave me broken but Peak succeeded, but It's not easy to keep me down

[The crowd cheer]

Caulfield: Through hell or high water, through broken bones, torn ligaments or excessive bleeding won’t keep me away from the title. Peak if you think I am this "establishment", you'd be wrong. This place is a revolution and I am the revolution within a revolution and Peak, you are the first hurdle. A revolution thrives on hardship and I know you can deliver that Peak, you crazy, psychotic b***erd but in the end, a revolution always means something and in the end, my revolution will have reached... it's Peak and it started with winning that number one contender match. It continues with Nathan Coleman tonight and it'll end with you Peak, the revolution will be over but we will have changed the wrestling world.

Rating: 60/C
Mitch: Caulfield is back and Peak is his target
Phil: Well, when you attack a man both in a physical and mental sense you should expect a backlash and at Counter Culture, you can bet that's exactly what Caulfield will get.

Quote:

"Calming the Nerves"

[Once again, Powell is sitting back stage. Looking very nervous when Sammy Bach turns up, a bottle of liquor in his hand, more than half the bottle was still full.]

Sammy: Teddy, how's it going my man?

[Teddy shrugs with uncertainty]

Sammy: Still feeling a bit down after last week, huh? Hey, I got just the remedy to clear up those nerves, it's this bottle right here.

[Teddy shakes his head]

Teddy: No thanks, Sammy.

Sammy: Hey if you go out there full of nerves, you'll think too much about it and lose and you don't want that, at least if you take some of this, it'll calm your nerves.

[Sammy shoves the bottle into Teddy's abdomen and Teddy grabs the neck of the bottle]

Teddy: Yeah, you're right.

[Teddy takes the bottle and takes a big gulp, as he begins to lower the bottle from his mouth, Sammy tips the bottle back up again, forcing Powell to take another gulp, then another, before he knows it, the whole bottle is empty]

Sammy: Now go out there and get your revenge.

[Teddy nods and stumbles away, making his way to the ring]

Rating: 58/C
Quote:
w/ w/
Teddy Powell w/ Cat Jemson v Dean McWade w/ Dallas McWade

  • Powell comes to the ring with Cat Jemson, struggling to walk in a straight line.
  • As the bell rings, Powell and Dean are standing across from each other and Dean is ready to fight
  • Powell stumbles over to Dean, talking to him as he does it, before he begins to.... hug him. We can see Powell saying "Your my friend I forgive you".
  • Dean seems incredibly uncomfortable and Powell lets go and begins to walk away but Dean clobbers him from behind
  • From there it is but a formality and Dean just batters Powell with ridiculously vicous strikes
  • Dean then picks him up, measures him and hits a particularly nasty Canadian Lariat (Lariat Clothesline to the back of the head) and that gives Dean the victory
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Dean McWade by pinfall in 5:02
Finishing Move: Canadian Lariat (Lariat Clothesline to the back of the head)
Rating: 52/D+
Mitch: Good Lord, things keep getting worse for Teddy Powell
Phil: No doubt about it Mitch, Teddy is on a bit of a down slope right now.
Mitch: Yeah. He looked drunk in there.
Phil: I think he actually was.

Quote:

The Latino Kings (Hector Galindo & Rudy Velazquez) v The New Wave (Guide & Scout)

  • Guide starts against Galindo and although Galindo is quite aggressive, he can't deal with the power of Guide early on.
  • It looks quite routine for Guide, but a kick to Guide's back as he bounced off the ropes changed that
  • From there, Galindo and Velasquez take control, switching in and out, keeping fresh
  • Galindo gets complacent and Guide is able to use his strength to power out of a headlock
  • Guide is able to tag in Scout and he is fired up
  • Smashing Galindo, then Velazquez, then Galindo again before locking in the Special Force (Mutilation Double Armbar) and Galindo is forced to tap very quickly
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: The New Wave by submission in 10:05
Finishing Move: Special Force (Mutilation Double Armbar)
Rating: 54/C-
Quote:

"Celebrations Never Last"

[The New Wave celebrate another win in the ring. The fans in their palm of their hands]

"Interrupting again"

[It doesn't take long for The New Jersey Devils to come and interrupt them. Braun ready with a mic in hands]

Braun: Shut up! Shut up, all of you. I am here. I have finally been given the power that I deserve. The DAVE board of directors have given me the power to choose the stipulation for our match at Counter Culture. Of course, it will be a staple of RPW. A Rapid Ascent match. A scaffold holds the tag titles 15ft in the air, the only way to get them, to climb a ladder and get the belts. However, you must secure a pinfall to be eligible to get the titles and both members must get to the scaffold and get the titles to be declared the winner. This is our time, this is our match and at the end of it all, we will still be the tag champs.

Rating: 66/C
Mitch: Well, we have a stipulation for Counter Culture, as if it being a title match wasn't enough.
Phil: What did you expect Mitch, Braun was always gonna sway the match in his favour any way he could.
Mitch: True, but you gotta look at The New Wave here Phil. They are arguably the best tag team in North America right now, no matter what match type it is, The New Jersey Devils will have a fight on their hands.
Phil: I don't think there is any argument Mitch. The New Wave are the best, no question, and The New Jersey Devils will find that out at Counter Culture.

Quote:

Chris Caulfield v Nathan Coleman

  • Caulfield is rabid and takes it straight to Coleman
  • Although both men are clubbinh each other it seems that it is only hurting Coleman
  • Coleman is soon battered down to one knee and Caulfield hits a kick to the head to drop him to the floor
  • Caulfield is very much in control and although Coleman does have sporadic comebacks, Caulfield still is able to control the match
  • The crowd is cheering for Caulfield and any time the Danger Drop (Reverse Snap Inverted DDT) is set up, the crowd pop,. but Coleman escapes numerous times.
  • After escaping, Coleman looked for a clothesline but Caulfield was able to turn it into a Danger Drop (Reverse Snap Inverted DDT) and Caulfield gets the win.
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Chris Caulfield by pinfall in 12:05
Finishing Move: Danger Drop (Reverse Snap Inverted DDT)
Rating: 48/D
Mitch: And he's back with a bang Phil?
Phil: He's ready for Peak, Mitch. He's just counting down the days til Counter Culture and speaking of such, I have an announcement to make about Counter Culture.

Quote:

"Announcement for Counter Culture"

Mitch: Oh yeah?
Phil: Yes. We saw a disgrace of a display by Teddy Powell tonight. I know that's not him and I also know that The McWade brothers deserve better. So, at Counter Culture, The McWades will face Adrenaline Rush. We will finally settle the score between these two teams the right way, the DAVE way.
Mitch: You've heard it here, folks. McWades, Adrenaline Rush, Counter Culture, it's on.

Rating: 61/C
Quote:

Acid v JD Morgan

  • Morgan begins the match using his size to his advantage and makes sure Acid is grounded
  • The crowd dislike the tactics of Morgan, having rest hold after rest hold to make sure Acid's offense is stiffled
  • A headlock is locked in when Acid turns the tides thanks to a kick to the head, using his flexability
  • Morgan is dazed for a moment and Acid is able to jump up and hit an inziguri
  • Acids offense is fast and quick but end abruptly as he springs of the ropes, Morgan puts him back in a sleeper
  • Acid counters with a stunner and both men are dazed
  • Acid then springs to life hitting numerous big impact moves such as a springboard DDT and a suicide dive through the top and middle rope to Morgan on the outside.
  • Back in the ring again and Acid hits Morgan with numerous kicks before planting him with a DDT
  • Acid climbs the rope and a Acid Rain Bomb (Swandive Senton Bomb) later Acid picks up the three count
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Acid by pinfall in 14:48
Finishing Move: Acid Rain Bomb (Swandive Senton Bomb)
Rating: 76/B-
Mitch: Acid gets a win after his loss last week
Phil: Big win too, JD Morgan ain't no slouch
Mitch: The first ever DAVE champion in fact, and Acid gets a vital tick in the win column
Phil: He'll be happy with that win Mitch.

Quote:

"My full Attention"

[Once again, a female interviewer walks up to Jack Giedroyc who is training in his locker room]

Interviewer: Jack, can I interrupt you for a second? Have you got anything to say about last week?

[Jack stops training and begins to talk]

Giedroyc: Well, I can't say I didn't see it coming. I tried to fool myself, saying that I will win and Century can beat me up afterwards. I was foolish. Congratulations Century, you have got my attention. Counter Culture will be here very soon, and you want the Brass Knuckles title? So be it, you'll get your match and I'll finally get my hands on you. You cost me the opportunity to put my name in the conversation for the Unified title. I will now cost you the chance to hold the Brass Knuckles title. Are you ready? You better be

Rating: 73/B-
Mitch: There it is, Jack is full on angry now.
Phil: Well, would you blame him?
Mitch: Not one bit, Century wanted Jack to notice him, well, he has now acheived that.

Quote:

Joey Minnesota w/ Emma Chase v Art Reed

  • This match begins with an extremely slick exchange of both men doing counter after counter until Minnesota slaps Reed upside the face
  • Minnesota then slows it was down for some time, using more of a brawling tactic know, hitting clubs and forearms to Reed
  • Reed is able to latch onto one of these forearms and tries to transition to the Dread Lock (One Arm underhooked Camel Clutch) but fails to do so and Minnesota flings Reed into the corner turnbuckle, but misses a splash
  • Reed again goes for the arm, but can't ground Minnesota and instead hits an arm drag
  • Minnesota then uses the momentum to go to the outside for a rest
  • Reed refuses to let him rest and hits a tornado DDT from the apron
  • Reed rolls Minnesota back in the ring and again looks for the Dread Lock (One Arm underhooked Camel Clutch) but again, Minnesota denies it
  • Standing again, Reed charges towards him, but Minnesota hits a European uppercut and Reed is dazed
  • Out of nowhere, Minnesota hits the Empire Spiral (Back Suplex into Spike Slam) and amazingly gets the win.
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Joey Minnesota by pinfall in 19:54
Finishing Move: Empire Spiral (Back Suplex into Spike Slam)
Rating: 77/B-
Mitch: Joey wins again and again he struggled for a lot of it.
Phil: That's the sign of a champion, Mitch, even when you're struggling you can still pull out the W.
Mitch: And that's all we got time for, we have one more show to get through before Counter Culture happens. And that will be at the same time, same place, next week. Until then, I've been Mitch Naess and on behalf of my partner, Phil Vibert. I bid you a good night and we'll see you next week.

I think Sammy was doing his partner a favor. If you have to get in the ring to be killed by a McWade the least you can do is get drunk to dull the pain.

The McWade Brothers vs Giant Tana & Giant Redwood
Clearly a match of this magnitude should only get a decisive result on PPV.

Sammy Bach v Hector Galindo
Bach continues to be the best friend and motivate Teddy by showing him how it's done.

JD Morgan v Art Reed
I'd like JD Morgan to get more of a storyline or character behind him since he was such a big part of early DAVE, but right now he seems to be mainly here to put over younger guys.

Eddie Peak & Joey Minnesota vs Shawn Gonzalez & Chris Caulfield
Neither team is friends, but I see Gonzalez and Caulfield being able to stay on page through the match at least.

DAVE Danger Zone TV
McGaw Arena (Tri-State)
5000 SELLOUT!

Mitch: Hello everybody and welcome to the Danger Zone, my name is Mitch Naess joined as always by Phil Vibert and it's here. Our last show before Counter Culture this Saturday, available on PPV channel, MySelect USA, but Phil, tonight is a huge night going into our PPV this Saturday.
Phil: Every show is a huge show Mitch, but tonight is special, especially before a PPV. Many competitors will want to get a win tonight for momentum going into Saturday
Mitch: Many matches tonight do have competitors wrestling on our PPV and they will definitely want to get a win.

Quote:

"A World of Trouble"

[The show start with the Chase Agency making their way to the ring. Chase and Minnesota are standing in the ring and Chase begins to speak]

Chase: Another week has come, and tonight all the fans get what you've been waiting for. My client Joey Minnesota gets a chance to get his hands on Shawn Gonzalez here tonight. Let us be clear, what happens tonight will be nothing to what will happen this Saturday at Counter Culture. We will take out Shawn Gonzalez and this time it will be for much longer than simply two weeks, we will get rid of Shawn Gonzalez and my client will take his place and he will be on the fast track to the title...

"Protecting his Honour"

[As Chase pauses, who else but Shawn Gonzalez starts to make his way to the ring and begins to speak his mind]

Gonzalez: You think you can just throw me out the door and that's it, I'll be gone. I don't think so. I've been in this business for fifteen years and you think some rookie can just throw me away? I don't think so.

Chase: Rookie? My client has been in this business for a few years, he is no more a rookie than you, Mr. Gonzalez and let me remind you sir, that my client is one of the hottest commodities in the sport and will be the future of this company, so I'd suggest you treat him with a little more respect.

Gonzalez: I'll admit that he's got talent, but he's done nothing yet to earn my respect. I've won the Brass Knuckles title twice, one of the most respected trainers in the business. This is the big leagues boy, you ain't gonna get by just because you got talent. You gotta work you're a$$ off to be the best, and right now, you are most certainly not the best.

[Minnesota then begins to get aggravated and tries to attack Gonzalez but Chase stops him]

Gonzalez: I hate to be the man to break that new to you bro, but

Chase: Enough! This man will be what DAVE is and if you don't treat him with respect....

"I am DAVE"

[Chase is interrupted again, this time by Caulfield. He walks down to the ring as the crowd cheers him]

Caulfield: I don't know if I was hearing things while I was in the back, or what but I'm pretty sure you said that this young man here will be DAVE in the future... That sh!t don't don't fly with me. As far as I'm concerned, the last I checked I was "The Icon" of DAVE and I don't have any plans of going anywhere anytime soon, you want to prove your worth, I guess you'll get your chance later when you face two mainstays of this promotion.

[There is a pause as the three men in the ring stand tall in a staredown]

"Craves Power"

[The silence is broken by the DAVE Unified champion Eddie Peak. He makes his way to the ring, mic already in hand.]

Peak: You see Chris, this is what I'm talking about. You stand here in this very ring and proclaim you are the "Icon" of DAVE. That's rich. You think you are the only one to have contributed to this company. What about all the guys that have come and gone, the guys this company was built around. Where were you? Popping zits in high school I'd bet, you...

Caulfield: I never said I was the only man that made this revolution happen, there have been many a stars that have passed through these doors but right now, I am the leader. With injuries a plenty and raids even more common I am the man people see when they think of DAVE, but I'm not the only one. Shawn Gonzalez, Eric Tyler, Johnny Martin all these men have spilled blood and sweat on this very canvas and they have contributed as much as I have. They are as much apart of this rebellion as I have, as much as you have. As hard as it is to admit, you are just as much a part of the revolution as me, you've built your way up through the ranks, just as I have and I respect that. But you did it in the wrong way. You crave power and sure you have it now but in the end, you will fall. Every champion does, it is then when your character will be judged. And we'll also see how you and your partner here bounce back when me and Shawn beat your a$$ all around the Danger Zone.
Rating: 65/C
Mitch: Well that sets up our main event nicely.
Phil: Four men go into the match tonight, what are the odds all four men come out of it unscaved?
Mitch: That'd be impossible, Phil. Sacrifices will be made tonight, we'll just see how much they're willing to throw away to beat their opponents.
Phil: Moving on, we have some debuts tonight.
Mitch: That we do, say hello to The Ring Generals, Marv Statler and Dean Waldorf. Two young guys ready to prove themselves to the world.
Phil: They may be young Mitch, but they are definitely not short of talent.

Quote:
& &
The McWade Brothers (Dallas & Dean McWade) v The Ring Generals (Marv Statler & Dean Waldorf)

  • Waldorf and Dallas start and it is a hard hitting beginning to the match, Dallas uses his size to gain the upper hand but Waldorf is definitely ready for a battle
  • The McWades prove themselves to be a solid tag team, isolating Waldorf for most of the early going
  • Until finally, Waldorf comes back, swinging his arms back and forth, hitting Dallas then Dean with vicious closed fisted shots
  • This gets Statler in the ring and he also uses a brawling approach, amazing bouldering through he much bigger man in Dean
  • The Ring Generals are control until Dallas, the illegal man, comes in the ring and cracks Statler with a stiff lariat as Dean distracted the ref
  • Dallas then takes care of Waldorf pulling him off the apron as Dean ends it with a Canadian Lariat (Lariat Clothesline to the back of the head).
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: The McWade Brothers by pinfall in 6:23
Finishing Move: Canadian Lariat (Lariat Clothesline to the back of the head)
Rating: 54/C-
Mitch: A good win here for The McWades going into Saturday, and definitely a tougher test than they expected.
Phil: You like to have a tough test going into a PPV, Mitch. It's true, The Ring Generals impressed, even in defeat.
Mitch: From one side of the coin to the other, Phil. Pretty sure Teddy and Sammy are backstage
Phil: Oh, god. What will it be this week.

Quote:

"From Something to Nothing"

[Teddy Powell sits backstage, using his tablet, when Sammy Bach walks in]

Sammy: What are you doing? I have a match in like five minutes, won't you be there for me?

Teddy: Yeah of course just give me a second.

[Sammy makes his way over beside Teddy to see what he's doing]

Sammy: Online Poker?

Teddy: Yeah, with real money. I can cash out any time. Already tripled my initial money.

Sammy: I know what it is, why are you doing it?

Teddy: Me and Cat have been having a rough time lately about stuff, so I decided I'd do something nice for her but I need some cash, and since you recommended it to me, I thought it'd be a good idea to try it out. I'm almost there two, after another hand or two, I'll have enough.

Sammy: Fair enough, never really considered you a gambling man. Nice hand you got there.

Teddy: I'm usually not but you're quite persuasive and yeah, four of a kind, one of the best in poker.

Sammy: You should go all in, you'll make the guy match you unless he folds and if he does, you'll have you're target amount right?

Teddy: Yeah, that's a good idea, there's no way I'll lose.

[Teddy presses the all in button with a smile on his face. His smile soon goes away as his jaw drops]

Sammy: Aw man, tough luck. Looks like "Willowzbestcuz2mer" beat you with a straight flush.... Uh, maybe you shouldn't come out with me to my match.

[Sammy makes an "oops" face as he pats Teddy on the back who is still in shock, and leaves the room]

Rating: 55/C-
Mitch: Phil, Teddy must be getting tired of Sammy's crap Phil
Phil: Hey, they're buddies Mitch, I'm sure Sammy doesn't mean it?
Mitch: Of course he does, he took his money.
Phil: No Mitch, "Willowzbestcuz2mer" took his money, aren't you listening?

Quote:

Sammy Bach v Hector Galindo

  • Bach sets the tone for the match early on, battering Galindo with numerous different moves.
  • Galindo really struggles against Bach, Bach showing a very cocky attitude
  • A swift superkick knocks Galindo down, Bach is dictating the pace here
  • Bach waits for Galindo to get up and ends it with a Bach on your Bach (Bodylock Inverted Sleeper) and pins him for the win
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Sammy Bach by pinfall in 8:18
Finishing Move: Bach on your Bach (Bodylock Inverted Sleeper)
Rating: 53/D+
Quote:

"Still Buddies"

[With Sammy Bach celebrating his win, Sammy is going around to each turnbuckle to pose]

"Making the Most of an Opportunity"

[It is then when The McWade Brothers take their chance and begin the assault on Sammy. The assault is brutal and relentless]

"Saving his friend"

[At this point, Teddy Powell runs down to the ring, chair in hand. The McWade Brothers bail out of the ring and Powell swings the chair wildly at them. Teddy stands in the middle of the ring with Sammy sitting up in the corner on the bottom turnbuckle. Teddy glances over at Sammy before going over to the ropes, leaving the ring and walking back up the ramp]

Rating: 54/C-
Mitch: Teddy saves Sammy.
Phil: Yeah, best of buddies.
Mitch: Hmmm, don't think so, Phil. This is a time bomb.

Quote:

Art Reed v JD Morgan

  • The match begins with numerous counters and a stand off, before the match truly begins
  • Morgan can't seem to outwrestle Reed so he instead uses his fists, battering Reed with clubs to the back before dropping him to the mat for a technical match up
  • Reed escapes numerous holds as Morgan changes to more difficult holds, Reed is still able to escape them, and even counter one into a reverse STO into a koji clutch.
  • Morgan does escape the hold via a ropebreak, but the announcer knew Morgan was in trouble
  • Reed then is in control and tries to lock in the Dread Lock (One Arm underhooked Camel Clutch) but fails on numerous occasions, Morgan finding anyway to make sure the hold isn't locked in, including biting Reed
  • Morgan regains the momentum by hitting a drop toe hold to Reed, which slams Reed right into the middle turnbuckle but it only garners a two count
  • Morgan is in control and locks in the Cross Atlantic Stretch (Variated Octopus Stretch) but Reed counters it with an arm toss, and flips over Morgan and locks in the Dread Lock (One Arm underhooked Camel Clutch), which results in Morgan tapping.
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Art Reed by submission in 15:56
Finishing Move: Dread Lock (One Arm underhooked Camel Clutch)
Rating: 69/C+
Mitch: Art Reed wins.
Phil: Yeah, a great technical contest.
Mitch: A great lead in to our main event.

Quote:

Chris Caulfield & Shawn Gonzalez v Eddie Peak & Joey Minnesota w/ Emma Chase

  • Caulfield and Minnesota begin the match and they trade moves
  • Minnesota takes control and tries to hit an Empire Spiral (Back Suplex into Spike Slam) early on but Caulfield counters and hits a German suplex
  • Both men tag out and Peak and Gonzalez come in
  • Peak overpowers Gonzalez, steamrolling over Gonzalez
  • As Caulfield comes too, he goes to attack Peak but Minnesota stops him
  • Caulfield and Minnesota brawl on the outside as Peak batters Gonzalez in the ring.
  • Caulfield climbs on the rope and Gonzalez is able to tag him in but Chase holds Caulfield leg and Minnesota hits a springboard dropkick on Caulfield
  • Peak tags in Minnesota and the two batter Caulfield
  • Gonzalez then gets involved and helps out Caulfield striking Peak and Minnesota with vicious punches
  • Gonzalez then catches Peak and throws him to the now vertical Caulfield and sets him up for the Danger Drop (Reverse Snap Inverted DDT) but Peak escapes and rolls out of the ring.
  • Minnesota then runs to Caulfield but he catches him and hits a Danger Drop (Reverse Snap Inverted DDT) and pins him for the win while Gonzalez makes sure Chase doesn't get involved

Phil: And the champ has read it loud and clear, Chris Caulfield is ready for Peak and in exactly two days time, they will go head to head.

He created..

Adrenaline Rush (Teddy Powell & Sammy Bach) v The McWade Brothers (Dallas & Dean McWade)
Bach continues to be the best partner while Powell can't hold up his share.

Too many of your top stars injured? Stick 3 of your best midcarders (and Tank Bradley) in a scaffold match. What could go wrong?

DAVE Brass Knuckles
Jack Giedroyc v Travis Century
There's a lot of storyline things you could do here, and in some ways Jack might be above the belt anyway since he's pushing as a main eventer.

Shawn Gonzalez v Joey Minnesota w/ Emma Chase
Joey's time will come, but I'm picking Shawn here.

DAVE Unified
Eddie Peak v Chris Caulfield
I think Peak holds onto the belt here.

DAVE Counter Culture
Evanovich Riverside (Tri-State)
10,000 SELLOUT!

Mitch: Hello everyone and welcome to DAVE Counter Culture, we're here live from the sold out Evanovich Riverside stadium on MySelect USA. I'm Mitch Naess joined by Phil Vibert and welcome DAVE back onto Pay Per View.
Phil: It's great to be once again broadcasting our events all around the country, Mitch. Now once again, people from all around this country can watch the greatest wrestling in America.
Mitch: So many people will be able to tune into tonight's show and a huge one it is. We have Jack Giedroyc putting his Brass Knuckles title on the line against Travis Century.
Phil: This is something Jack has been waiting for, Mitch. To simply be able to get his hands on Travis Century and beat him to a pulp. Tonight, Jack will be able to do just that.
Mitch: And of course, an almost grudge match with "The Future of Dave" Joey Minnesota going one one one with "The Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez.
Phil: These guys have wanted to get their hands on each other ever since the very first Danger Zone TV ended his year, there was a very brief preview of it last Thursday and tonight we have the real thing.
Mitch: But here it is, the big one, the Main Event of the evening, DAVE Unified champion Eddie Peak, puts the belt on the line against three time Unified champ, Chris Caulfield.
Phil: This is a huge match, Mitch. Caulfield has been there and done it all. However, this is Peaks very first title reign. With emotions running high which man will be able to get the upper hand? As strong and powerful as Peak is, you can never count out on "The DAVE Icon" Chris Caulfield.
Mitch: Of course all that is still to come as we jump into our first piece of action.

Adrenaline Rush w/ Cat Jemson v The McWade Brothers

  • There is certainly no love lost between these teams and Bach and Dallas throw clubs at ti each at first
  • Of course Dallas begins to win thanks to his size, but Bach is by no means outmatched, he keeps moving in and out of Dallas' range hitting swift strikes.
  • Bach works hard to get the big man down and achieves it with a flying forearm
  • Powell comes in now and the pace is still very high as Powell continues the assault.
  • However a kick into he back from Dean to Powell changes that and the McWades take control
  • Dean comes in and hits vicious strikes and a few power moves as the McWades have slowed the pace to suit them
  • Then the double teams come and a double powerbomb leads to a pin, but Bach flies in and breaks it up.
  • He battles Dean with right after right and a dropkick sends Dean over the rope and out of the ring
  • Dallas is now going for Bach and they trade strikes as Powel gets up behind Dallas
  • Dallas and Bach get some distance between them and Bach unleashes a superkick but Dallas ducks and it catches Powell right on the chin
  • Bach, shocked that he hit his partner, is then pulled outside the ring by Dean, Dallas then goes over to Powell and gets the three
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: The McWade Brothers by pinfall in 12:04
Finishing Move: Bach Superkick hits Powell by accident
Rating: 68/C+
Quote:

"Tension is Rising"

[With The McWade Brothers getting the win, Sammy Bach is devastated. Shaking his head in the ring, Teddy Powell comes too. Powell and Bach begin the chat, it seems heated as they are face to face in the ring, apparently blaming each other for the loss. There doesn't seem to be much animosity just annoyance, especially from Teddy who hasn't had a good month]

"The Peacekeeper"

[It is Cat Jemson who comes between the two. She pushes Powell away from Bach and talk to him, trying to calm him down. She seems genuinely concerned for Teddy and helps him see the bigger picture. Bach seems to have calmed down as well at this point. The three leave together, the tension, however, is still present]

Rating: 51/D+
Mitch: The tensions are rising between Powell and Bach
Phil: It maybe was even at boiling point tonight, luckily they have Cat Jemson.
Mitch: Even so Phil, this can't last much longer, Bach mistreating Powell and Powell accepting it, it's a recipe for disaster.
Phil: Hey every team has the more talented worker Naess and sooner or later the team realises this, and right now, I think Bach realises what he can do.

Quote:

"It's all about respect"

[Walking down a hallway backstage, Jack Giedroyc is swarmed by a female interviewer]

Interviewer: Jack! Jack! Tonight you put your Brass Knuckles championship against Travis Century tonight, how are you feeling about it?

Jack: Well, a few weeks ago Travis Century earned his shot at this belt. When you earn an opportunity to face me, I'll respect ya. There ain't no doubt about it.... But he changed that. He thinks he can just sweep me aside like I'm a nobody so he can reach his goal. I am far better than that. I am the champion for a reason, he's cost me a lot over the last few weeks, I could have proven my abilities by beating the Unified champion and you cost me that, but tonight is the night where I get my revenge. You better be ready Century because it's you and me, one on one tonight in the center of the ring. Have an ambulance on standby, I just hope they can resuscitate you cause tonight I'm gonna beat you so bad you won't be breathing afterwards.

Rating: 67/C+
Mitch: Jack is determined, Phil. He wants to get at Travis Century.
Phil: And I don't blame him one bit. He says he has a goal and Lucifer will help him to get to his goal.
Mitch: What I think is worse, is that we have hardly heard from Century. Ever since he cost Giedroyc that match against Eddie Peak, Century has been completely absent.
Phil: That is most definitely a concern, what do we know? Hell Century might not even turn up.
Mitch: That's one of the many things that people are thinking about this match up Phil, why has Century been so quiet? Does he have a plan? And who the hell is Lucifer? So many questions that we hope will be answered tonight, but the time has come, the first title match of the night. The DAVE tag team titles are on the line, next.

Rapid Ascent Match
DAVE Tag Team Titles

  • Guide and Bradley start clubbing each other while Guide and Braun also brawl
  • Bradley and Guide bail from the ring as Braun and Scout brawl in side it
  • Scout is looking good until a low blow stops his momentum and Braun takes control

  • Guide receives a shot for his troubles as well and Braun gets up Bradley
  • Scout is back up quickly but Braun is on him straight away as Bradley gets a chair
  • Bradley smacks Scout with a chair and The New Jersey Devils are in control
  • Both Braun and Bradley gets pinfalls as Braun hits Scout with a Braun Damage (Sitdown Piledriver) onto the chair for the three count while Bradley hits Guide with a Tank Crush (Fallaway Slam) which makes Guide fly into a chair that was wedged in-between the turnbuckles in the corner and that gets him pin. Both Braun and Bradley become eligible to take a title!
  • Bradley and Braun both begin to climb the at each side, they are about half way up when Guide pushes the ladder over as both men lands safely on their feet
  • Guide and Scout then climb the ladder but Bradley stops Scout and gets him down but Braun is kicked away by Guide.
  • Guide continues to climb the ladder and indeed gets onto the scaffold and grabs one of the titles
  • Braun follows him up the ladder and as he gets to the top, Scout breaks away from Bradley for just a few moments to move the ladder away from the scaffold so he can't climb onto it, as Bradley comes over and whacks Scout with a chair
  • Braun tries to go back down the ladder to move it but Guide shouts at him and Braun turns while still standing on the ladder and Guide jumps from the scaffold a spears Braun off the ladder to the canvas
  • The crowd erupts into a holy sh!t chant, on the outside Bradley hits a Tank Crush (Fallaway Slam) to Scout right into the barricade
  • Bradley then comes in the ring and re-positions the ladder, he picks up and Braun and helps him up the ladder. The climb the ladder and get the belts to retain.
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: The New Jersey Devils by Item Retrieval in 15:14
Finishing Move: Guide Spear on Braun from scaffold to ladder to the canvas renders Guide and Braun motionless, Bradley incaptacites Scout and carries Braun up the ladder to retrieve the titles
Notes: Alex Braun and Guide took a crazy bump (Spear from scaffold to ladder)
Rating: 71/C+
Mitch: OH MY GOD!
Phil: Guide and Braun crashed and burned to the canvas, good lord.
Mitch: You won't see something like that anywhere else other than DAVE, Phil, yet somehow, someway, Braun was able to do enough to get to the scaffold and grab the titles.
Phil Even with the huge help from his partner Tank Bradley, you gotta wonder, how on Earth did Braun get up so quickly?
Mitch: The amazing thing is Phil there is more great wrestling action to come.

The Future of DAVE"

[A female interviewer stands backstage in front of a monitor]

Interviewer: At this time, I am joined by The Chase Agency, Emma Chase and Joey Minnesota, Joey, you have one hell of a fight on your hands tonight, what are your tactics tonight ahead of your match with Shawn Gonzalez?

Chase: Excuse you miss nobody, when you talk to my client, you go through me. Joey is getting in the zone, and he doesn't need somebody like you getting him out of his groove. I will answer all questions and we will not be disclosing any tactics. How stupid do you believe we are? However, I will tell you thing. My agency delivers what it promises. Joey Minnesota will be the future of this company and tonight, Shawn Gonzalez is the first step. Enjoy your win last Thursday while you can Shawn, cause Joey is coming for you and once again, you will be back laying in a hospital, unable to wipe the droll of your chin. Joey will show you that your years in the business.. mean nothing. Tonight, it all comes crumbling down, with Joey Minnesota taking your place, in his rightful place as a star in this company. He is the future of DAVE and you are a bug on his windshield as he travels to the top.

Rating: 72/ B-

Mitch: Emma Chase as serious as ever here tonight at Counter Culture.
Phil: She has to be, Mitch. If she wants Joey to be the future of this company, she has to guide him.
Mitch: The big question is though, is Emma Chase underestimating Shawn Gonzalez?
Phil: You can sure bet that she isn't. Shawn is one hell of a competitor and Chase will have him scouted down from the way he counters moves to his actual movements themselves, Joey Minnesota will be well prepared for Gonzalez, will it be enough? That's what we're here to see.
Mitch: Well, it's here. Giedroyc and Century is next on our list Phil. Brass Knuckles Title on the line.

DAVE Brass Knuckles Title
Jack Giedroyc v Travis Century

  • The match begins and Jack wastes no time going after Century

  • Jack even brings weapons into the fray, hitting Travis with a chair
  • Travis however comes back he hits a DDT and both men are down
  • Jack however is up first and Travis is not far behind, he swings a clothesline Jacks way but Jack ducks and slips behind him
  • He then turns Travis around and hits the Crashing On (Kneeling Jaw Breaker)
  • Jack then goes crawls over to pin him but the lights go out

    "A Demon's return"

  • Shockingly, Nemesis shows up in the ring behind Jack and turns him around straight into a Nemesis Arrow (Falcon Arrow)
  • Nemesis begins to shout at Century and Century gets up, hits the Salvation (Shoulder Breaker) and gets the pin

Winner: Travis Century by pinfall in 14:02

Rating: 61/C

"Hell Spawns"

[With Travis Century wining the title, Jack is down and in a pretty dire straight. However, it doesn't stop there with Nemesis directing traffic, Travis Century continues the beatdown]

Mitch: What the hell is this? Century is champion and he's with Nemesis? We haven't sen him in months.
Phil: Well he's back Mitch and with a bang.

[It's at this point where Nemesis looks at the entrance and seems to call somebody else out]

"Another Demon"

[It is none other than Hell's Bouncer who rushes down to the ring, he joins Century in the assault. The two men then pick Jack up and push him towards Nemesis for another Nemesis Arrow. The three behemoths stand in the ring side by side, as Jack Giedroyc lay lifeless and bloody on the canvas]

Rating: 80/B
Mitch: Nemesis is back, but not in a good way.
Phil: When has Nemesis ever meant good news Mitch. Jack is hurt bad, can we get some help out here?
Mitch: The devastation that is in that ring right now is for everybody to see. Nemesis, Travis Century and Hell's Bouncer have most certainly arrived and good god they've made one hell of an impact.

Shawn Gonzalez v Joey Minnesota w/ Emma Chase

  • The match begins and it is very even, Gonzalez hits a nice few moves, a Russian Leg sweep followed by a leg drop, but Minnesota then rolls up Gonzalez, lets it go and hits a vicious kick to Gonzalez' chest
  • Minnesota is in control but Gonzalez counters him numerous times but Minnesota is smart and slides out of harms way
  • The lock up again and this time Gonzalez is in control and hits a German Suplex and looks to roll it into a Latino Crab (Boston Crab) but can't and Minnesota kicks him away
  • Gonzalez rushes towards him but Minnesota slips behind him and looks for a Empire Spiral (Back Suplex into Spike Slam)but Gonzalez counters half way through into an arm drag
  • The distance is good for Gonzalez, and a kick to the gut followed by an Irish whip into the corner puts him in control
  • However, he runs straight into Minnesota's boot and Gonzalez falls to his knees
  • The Empire Spiral (Back Suplex into Spike Slam) is set up again, but Gonzalez counters flipping over behind Minnesota and taking down Minnesota and locking in the Latino Crab (Boston Crab)
  • The lock is in tight and Gonzalez is wrenching as hard as he can, eyes closed, jaws clinched
  • Minnesota's hand is off the canvas ready to tap when...

    "Assuring DAVE's Future"

  • Emma Chase steps in the ring and slaps Gonzalez right in the face, which makes him release the hold
  • Gonzalez then steps towards Chase backing her into the corner as the crowd cheer as they are sick of her cheating, when suddenly, Minnesota gets a roll-up

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____
Winner: Joey Minnesota by pinfall in 18:01
Finishing Move: Chase interference followed by a roll-up
Rating: 67/C+
Mitch: Chase cost Gonzalez the victory.
Phil: What can I say Mitch? Did you really think Emma Chase didn't have a trick up her sleeve?
Mitch: I should know better at this stage. Despite the fact Minnesota was right there, step for step with Gonzalez makes this even worse, Minnesota did nothing wrong to help his case for being the future of DAVE.
Phil: Definitely not, he fought hard and brought Gonzalez to his limits, but at the end of the day, what we remember is wins. Emma Chase knows this and so made sure that Joey got the win.

"Ending the Revolution"

[With the Unified title over his shoulder, Eddie Peak is walking to the ring when an interviewer runs to over to him]

Interviewer: Eddie, what do you expect from Chris Caulfield tonight?

Peak: I expect nothing. I have the power in this company and I am going to go one better and destroy his so called revolution. I don't expect anything from him, I am the champ, the main man, the big money, people come to see me. I am the mot powerful man in this company and this belt right here proves that. Caulfield has had his fun, but tonight, I end him once and for all.

Rating: 71/C+
Mitch:

Quote:

DAVE Unified Title
Eddie Peak v Chris Caulfield

  • The match starts off hot as Peak and Caulfield run toward each other trading blow after blow to each others head
  • Peak is clearly the stronger of the two but Caulfield doesn't back down and his forearms are just as vicious
  • Peak eventually gains control from this and hits a flapjack on Caulfield
  • And as always with Peak, here comes the weapons, a chair is swung at Caulfield but he ducks and counters it into a DDT
  • Peak is not down for long, and it is Caulfield who has the chair now, a strike to Peak's back does some damage but it only drops him to one knee
  • A second strike is incoming but Peak rolls out of the way and cracks Caulfield with a clothesline
  • Peak the gets a table out but can't set it up as Peak breaks a kendo stick over Peak's head
  • Caulfield sets up the table but Peak is back on his feet and cracks Caulfield with a nasty chair shot which bust him open, Peak pins him for a two
  • With blood pouring from Caulfield's head, Peak continues the onslaught, hitting Caulfield with punches again and again into his open wound
  • With the table set up outside, Peak lifts Caulfield up for the Peak of Perfection (Crucifix Powerbomb) but Caulfield drops down and hits Peak with right after right and flings Peak over the top rope but Peak lands on the apron, Caulfield then dropkicks Peak and he falls onto the table outside
  • Caulfield looks to take control here but Peak is remarkable and is fairly recovered after Caulfield throws him in the ring
  • Caulfield sprints at him but a spinebuster is waiting for him and a pin

    1............
    2..........

  • Shoulder up, and the match continues
  • Peak takes no time in continuing the attack and he flings Caulfield into the corner but Caulfield counters the splash
  • Peak slips to the outside and Caulfield follows him and bang, chair shot straight to the head of Caulfield, blood spurting out of his forehead
  • Again Peak puts him back in the ring for the pin

    1............
    2...........................

  • Again, this time by sheer instinct, Caulfield gets his shoulder up
  • Peak is getting slightly frustrated and he gets the title belt
  • Waiting for Caulfield to get up, Caulfield slowly makes it to his feet, and Peak runs straight at him and flattens him with a belt shot to the skull
  • Peak drops to his knees and again looks for the pin

    1............
    2.................................................

  • Remarkably, Caulfield gets the shoulder off the mat again and Peak cannot believe it
  • Peak again picks up the belt, Caulfield's blood staining the gold, and he places it in the centre of the ring
  • Peak picks up Caulfield and pilderiver right onto the belt and the cover again

    1............
    2................................................. .........................

  • No, the crowd gasp as Caulfield escapes again, he is barely moving, barely breathing, losing a lot of blood, but still fighting
  • Peak then gets the chair and lets his frustrations out hitting Caulfield across his back, and again and again and again, the sound of metal hitting human flesh rings around the arena, even the DAVE fans are wincing at these strikes
  • Caulfield is completely motionless as Peak throws away the chair, Peak has to dead lift Caulfield to his feet and sets up the the Peak of Perfection (Crucifix Powerbomb), Caulfield hanging there in the crucifix position, blood completely covering his face, he can't fight out of it and it connects, Peak again goes for the cover

2................................................. .........................

Notes: Match went on 5 minutes too long
Rating: 59/C-
Mitch: Eddie Peak retains his title, and good lord he did exactly what he said he was going to, he beat Caulfield so bad that he can barely stand.
Phil: I have never seen Chris Caulfield take so much punishment but he never gave up but in the end, it was too much. I guess it makes sense that Peak is the champ but there's a reason why Caulfield has been a Unified champion three times before.
Mitch: Yes indeed, and there's no doubt he'll be back again, how long it takes for him to recover is the only question, that's all we have time for folks, from me Mitch Naess, my partner Phil Vibert, we bid you a good night and we will see you Thursday night in the Danger Zone.

Back to the Danger Zone on television and Counter Culture in the history books, we have something else to look forward to as Addicted to Chaos is just four weeks away. With that, a Chaos Fatal Four Way match has been scheduled for Addicted to Chaos, with the Brass Knuckles title up for grabs. With Travis Century already being the champ there are three spots open for the match and two will be filled after tonight, however, if a person who has qualified for the Chaos four way loses, the person who beat them takes their place in the Four way. I wonder who will be the three men that joins Century in that match at Addicted to Chaos. However, that's not all, Joey Minnesota faces a returning Vin Tanner and Shawn Gonzalez faces Travis Century. Many questions were answered at Counter Culture, but more questions were asked and hopefully this Thursday they will be answered.
