Game will not save

I just played out one season using USF. I got through the recruiting and advanced to the next season. I then tried to save the game and it locked up. I had to reboot and now when I try to load it the game crashes to desktop. Am I doing something wrong here or did the save game corrupt when it locked up?

I have had the exact same thing happen to me twice in the last two days. I get to the final week of recruiting, I try to save the game, and the game locks up--the save game box gets stuck at 0% saved, and when I reboot and try to load the saved game, I just get a CTD.

One thing I noticed--both times, right before the "save game" attempt failed, I had tried to click on my email box in the bottom right hand corner, and the email failed to open up. I am not certain if that somehow triggered the subsequent crash and corrupted "save game" file.

The crash occured using 1.03. The first time I was using the Division II mod, the second time I was using the Division 1-AA mod.
