Okay, so Night 1...

As I'm sure you've all realised, a lot of what was in the night write ups was just there to make us (and hopefully some of you) smile. It was a lot of colour and things that we found funny.

I will say that we both loved reading all the theories about Dr Acula being scum

Night 1, the most important sections were these:

Doctor: “Damnit nurse… this isn’t rocket science, this is brain surgery. Assuming this camera is where it’s supposed to be, which it might not be if that schematic isn’t the right way up.”

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Dr Acula: “Doctor, ve need to relieve the pressure on ze organs or he’ll lose them.”
Doctor: “Someone fetch me the wedge of wood, I’ll get these organs seperated as if my very own life depended on it”

Nurse: “I think the wedge is being used to prop up the operating table doctor.”

Doctor: “Damn it, there’s never any wood when you need it most…”

Nurse: “Tell me about it…”

BEEP BEEEP…BEEEP… BEEEP…BEEEP… BEEEP…BEEEP…

Doctor: “Wait… tyre pressure stabilising… RPM normalising… everything seems to be okay again.”

These are the blocked kills on Destiny. What's important to note is that the doctors don't actually do anything here. Jack recovers entirely by himself.

Gruntmark is dead. He was a Cancer Cell, Cancer Aligned Corrosive Influence

Zeel has been silenced and will be unable to post in the thread til nightfall.

Here, obviously is the death of GruntMark, and a hint about Kobe's existence.


Full list of actions for Night 1:

• SuperOwens protected Destiny.
• Eayragt also protected Destiny.
• MJD rolelocked Destiny.
• Kobe poisoned Midnightnick, but as her kill was on a delay, it wouldn't occur until Night 2.
• Max Peck attempted to kill Destiny, this would have been a very different game if the Don had been killed N1.
• BHK1978 watched Midnightnick and saw Kobe target him but thought no more about it when we was still around at daybreak (the advantage of the poisoner role).
• Jman2k3 had the choice of Shieldocin or Countstwicephrine, and chose to give a dose of Shieldocin to GruntMark.
• GruntMark, in a nice symmetry of targets, attempted to recruit Jman2k3.
• Arrows silenced his protege Zeel1.
• Imarevenant redirected Zeel1 to BHK1978, but Zeel was choosing not to use his roleblocking ability that night so nothing happened. Rev's ability would not force an action if his target was choosing not to act.
• SGRaaize tracked BHK and saw him target MNN.
• Tha Black Phenom investigated Imarevenant and found him to be Jack Aligned.
• Zeel1 chose not to use his ability.
• bak42 silenced BHK1978
• Wallbanger killed Gruntmark, I've mentioned how upset this made me at the time, and I think Banger came to regret it too as it made the Mafia's job that much harder.
• Masterded got a Watcher ability and used it to watch Imarevenant and saw TBP target him.

...So I'm guessing Shieldocin doesn't do what I'd expect it to do? Or is it like a 50% thing?

Moving on to Night 2...

On the way to the operating room

Nurse: “Doctor, we’ve got to get Jack into the operating room as soon as possible.”

Doctor: “I can see that Nurse, the readings on these machines are indicating that his brain function is all over the place and his vitals are looking less healthy than the sandwich I picked up at that 24 hour garage on my way here."

BLEUUUUUGHHHH!!

Before they can get Jack into the operating room, Jack sits up and projectile vomits out a large solid mass. It hits the wall along the corridor, ricochets off the door at an angle, bouncing off the vending machine (Drink Slurm!) before firing back at the nurse, hitting her in the back of the head and flipping her over before she ends up on the floor. Jack falls back down…

Doctor: “Dr Acula, hand me my dipstick. In my intensive hours of training I’ve never ever seen vomit appear to be this solid. I fear it may have dented the nurse.”

Dr Acula does as instructed and hands the Doctor his dipstick, with which he tentatively pokes at the mass on the floor.

Doctor: “Damnit, this appears to be a lung. This man is clearly no better off for all this bed rest he’s been getting. We’d better get him back into the operating room. Someone sterilise my tools, we’ve got to unzip this man and find out what’s wrong with him, stat!”

Here is Kobe's first kill on MNN. All of Kobe's kills appeared by the player being vomitted up.

Doctor: "I didn't do it! I mean... uh oh. He seems to be in a lot of distress. Nurse, check his pupil response."

The nurse grabs a torch, approaches Jack, and pulls open his left eyelid, shining the light inside. After a brief pause, she does the same with his right.

Nurse: "That's going to be quite difficult, Doctor."

Doctor: "Why?"

Nurse: "Because they're gone."

Doctor: "Gone?! What do you mean gone?"

Nurse: "I mean they're gone. His eyes... are gone."

Doctor: "Right... It seems we're no closer to figuring out what's wrong with this man. Maybe we're looking in the wrong place. Get this man to the MRI Machine! I’ll stay here with this book and try to work out what causes a man to have no eyes…"

Had to think for quite a while about how best to write the death of the eyes, especially as they had been digested. Eventually decided just having them vanish would be the most tasteful. Anyway, this is Max Peck getting his only successful kill of the game. I actually expected him to take a second shot at Destiny, but instead he seemed convinced that Destiny not dying meant that he had some kind of bulletproof ability. It never seemed to occur to him that he may have been protected.

Jack is half-concealed inside the giant donut of the MRI. In the monitoring room next door, Dr Acula and the Doctor watch as their computer screen displays images of Jack's brain.

Dr Acula: "Zat's not good. Zis whole area of his brain is doing nothing. Eet's dead. If zere's one thing I know, it's that brain function is important."

Doctor: "Thank you, Doctor. Let's get him back upstairs."

And there is Tha Black Phenom's death at the hands of Wallbanger.

Full list of actions for Night 2:

• Jman2k3 had the choice of Spyonucin or Stoppenactin and chose to give a dose of Stoppenactin to Destiny. I have no idea why when he was so certain Destiny was scum.
• Eayragt protected Kobe1724.
• MJD roleblocked SGRaaize.
• BHK1978 watched Destiny.
• SGRaaize tried to track Zeel1 but was blocked by MJD.
• Max Peck killed BHK1978. He tazed him, bro!
• Kobe1724 poisoned Eayragt.
• Wallbanger killed Tha Black Phenom. A good choice for scum, especially as they didn't actually know he was the investigator.
• Imarevenant redirected Zeel1 to MichiganHero. Zeel didn't send a PM this night, so again he did nothing.
• Bak42 chose not to silence anybody. I'm going to be writing that a lot
• Arrows silenced MLT.
• Masterded got a Role Cop ability and used it on Bak42.
• SuperOwens protected MichiganHero.
• TBP tried to investigate MNN.

It does, just not as quickly as you might expect. Grunt wouldn't receive it until the end of the Night Phase and it would have protected him Night 2.

Before the game we decided the order in which abilities would happen, it went: Roleblock, Protect, Kill, Anything Else. Jman's ability fell under Anything Else.

Trust me, at that point I wished it were different. If there was a way to keep Grunt alive, I would have taken it

On the way to the operating room...

We join our good doctor on his way to the operating room with Jack and the attending nurse who has completely failed to go on strikes for several days, a new record for the staff in the hospital. Progress in the direction of tonight’s surgery seems to be going well until Jack suddenly sits up and projectile vomits a stream of weak looking blood in the direction of the oncoming Dr Acula, called in just moments ago for a consult…

Doctor: “Well that isn’t good. Dr Acula, are you okay?”

Dr Acula: “Vhy of course. But zis man is not well. In fact, the “blood” he just hit me with seems to be almost entirely white blood cells. Traces of other unexpected impurities, but it appears that Jack just vomited up a large part of his immune system and it’s very, very bland…”

Doctor: “Well don’t just stand there man, put it back in. I’m pretty sure… in fact, I’m damn near certain he needs that. And can you smell that? Does blood smell like sulphur?”

Two things of note here, the first is obviously Kobe's poisoning of Eayragt the previous night leading to Jack vomiting up his white blood cells.

The second thing of note, which nobody spotted is the references to "unexpected impurities" and the smell of sulphur which nobody picked up on. Both were references to Jman and the bomb (hence, sulphur) which was about to kill SGRaaize.

The doctor tries to stifle the blood coming from Jack’s belly button but as he does so it fountains out of his mouth… and as the doctor tries to block the mouth if begins to fountain out of his belly button again. The nurse can no longer bear it, fainting dramatically and hitting her head off the edge of the hospital’s standard uncomfortable seating on the way to the hard floors.

Doctor: “Dr Acula, I need your help here. This man needs to keep his blood in him and you are the resident blood expert. Do something!”

Dr Acula: “Ze new…. well… appears to be his red blood cells escaping his body… Ve need to get him to surgery as soon as possible. I’m sorry doctor, I can’t think straight vith all zis blood here, excuse me for just one moment thankyouplease…”

Looking more than a little wild eyed, Dr Acula flees out of the hospital door with surprising speed, leaving the doctor alone with the patient… and the unconscious nurse currently floating by in a river of blood downstream towards the main cafeteria.

Doctor: “Damnit, I guess I’m on my own for now. To the operating room!!”

Sadly Derek forgot to include the "POP!" I wanted him to use to again hint at the bomb which causes the loss of Jack's red blood cells. Either way, that was the cause of the leak. So this is Jman killing SGRaaize by sending him a bomb.

Just coincidence that Jack lost both halves of his blood on the same night.

• Bak42 chose not to silence anybody. Again.
• Zeel1 roleblocked Destiny.
• Destiny tried to use the Stoppenactin Jman had given him on Max Peck, afraid he would try to kill him again.
• Eayragt planned to protect MLT.
• Imarevenant redirected SGRaaize to SuperOwens.
• Jman2k3 had a choice of Spyonucin or Bigboomamine and chose to send the bomb to SGRaaize.
• Kobe1724 poisoned Max Peck. I think she actually thought he was scum.
• MJD roleblocked Wallbanger.
• Wallbanger tried to kill SGRaaize. If it hadn't been for Jman this might have led the town to Banger a lot sooner with the kill being blocked by MJD. As it was nobody was any the wiser. I don't think even Banger realised that it wasn't him who killed SGRaaize.
• Masterded got a Watcher ability and used it on Wallbanger. He saw MJD targetting him. The fear that he saw the kill led directly to MJD's death the following night.
• Max Peck chose not to kill anybody.
• ShadowedFlames in his first night on the job investigated MNN's corpse, ultimately leading to the town catching Kobe.
• SGRaaize planned to watch Zeel1.
