Also, for those who may be interested, there is D Boon Ghosts excellent Death Of The Territories which is an 1980's based mod.

BobInc has a Womens Mod which features, you guessed it, Female only federations... WARNING This file is 17mb in size for those on dial-up

TCP has made the excellent End Of The Golden Era which is a 1993 based mod

Hulkamaniac and Gary Catcher have made War Of The Worlds which combines the Real World with Adam Rylands Cornellverse

Destroyed has a 2001 Scenario made

Woodsmeister also has a 2001 scenairio avalible

Tommy Tomlin has made a 1998 Scenario

Carlito Cool has made a December 1997 Scenario set after the Montreal Screwjob.

Grimmas has also made a year sceanario, his is a 1995 mod

Geoff Clarke has the Death Of The WWE mod for download

GPanic has his own SITE which features his own files and pics for TEW. He mainly focuses on the 80's and 90's eras of Wrestling

InfernoMiko has a Joshi Mod You can also download the PICS and LOGOS to be used specifically for this mod

OTHER USEFUL FILES

These are other files that may help add to your game. These are my own personal ones Ive compiled together from a variety of different sources, Im not entirely sure who I got them from, so I do appologise I cannot credit by name, I know some are from DOTT, some from TCP's Beta and some from BIGGN...

Right Click and Select "SAVE TARGET AS..." as these are just the .tew files to go in your data folders
ANGLES
STORYLINES
INJURIES
LOCATIONS

There are a few other mods around, but please look through the board and using the search facility before asking, we seem to get the same questions a few times every day

Any questions, and Im usually here to help, there are also alot of other people here who are very helpful, so please just ask and we'll see what we can do

Also please read the Unofficial F.A.Q which will answer alot of questions you may have about the game.

Finally, to install the mods...

To install a mod is quite easy.
You need a copy of Winzip or Winrar and a very basic knowledge of browsing folders in Windows
First download the mod and save onto your hardrive.

Open up the TEW2005 game, click on EDITOR (its the symbol that looks like a folder with a spanner on it) and then CREATE DATABASE.
Name your database something you can easily remember, naming it after the mod is usually a good idea. Now exit the game.

Now extract the files from the .zip or .rar that you downloaded to somewhere you can easily find them.
Copy all of these extracted files, and assuming you installed TEW to the default place on your hardrive, browse to C:\Program Files\GDS\TEW2005\Data

You will see there is a folder there named DEFAULT, which contains the default Cornellverse data, and hopefully there will be a folder named after the database you created.
Open this folder, paste your files in here, overwriting all the files allready in there.
IF you have also downloaded logos, title belts and worker pics, please put them in the coresponding folder.
This must be done in EVERY database you want these to appear in.

If you look at THIS PIC it shows how my own data folder appears, notice each different folder for each mod. And in the main window, how the files and folders are set out. This is the same for each mod folder you may have.

FINALLY, to play your mod.
Go back into TEW2005 click on DATABASE OPTIONS (the symbol with the 1,2,3 on it) choose the mod you want to use, and hit SELECT
You should get a message saying "YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CHANGED DATABASES"
Now all you have to do is click NEW GAME and away you go!!

Please note that if you are using a large database with all areas switched on, it will take maybe up to 15 mins to continue to the next day for the first few days game time. This is due to alot of data being processed. But after the first game week, it tends to go quicker

And the point being??
Im not doing this out of annoyance, just doing it as a collection of data and pic packs that will be useful to people.... Trying to get it so this thread will stay near the front page, so hopefully new members will see it, thus stopping them getting flamed by certain other people

why not ask to get it stickied? that way it doesnt need to be continuously bumped, and you can just edit the first entry to include the latest versions of each update/pic packs etc

Ive asked Adam before, the reason being that because TEW is not licensed to use official names and promotions, they will not stick any subjects to do with such material so not to get theirselves in trouble. .
Ive asked before for another post with links in it, and have had the above answer, which is fair enough so GDS arent putting themselves in a position where legal action may be taken on theirselves

Also what I am hoping to do, is that when people post links, I'll check them out and if they deserve to go in the first post, I will be editing it, just to keep down on the amount of posts in the thread
