Default Openweight Fights

If I have an open weight fight, will the lighter fighter automatically "bulk up" or stay at his "natural weight" or do I need to move both fighters to the same weight class? Is the lighter fighter at a disadvantage if I don't move him up?

Yeah for openweight they will come in at whatever their maximum weight is set at. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm guessing they come in at their comfortable (default) weight.

As far as I am aware this is the case.
