How would it possibly be ready at launch? They're going to have to edit every worker and promotion in the game before releasing DOTT.

Not to be a wet blanket but although I think that would be a wonderful idea Adam & Grey Dog might get in trouble for copyright laws. This is along the same lines as Adam not being able to declare a "Real World Diary of the Month".
On the other hand, if Adam released the editor by itself early for everyone (if that's even possible, the editor may not be finalized before the rest of the game is) then any mod maker could do some work before the game's release. Did RaveX get the editor early in a previous game? I think they may have been beta testers. Another possibility. Last edited by rufas2000 : 09-23-2006 at 08:01 AM. Reason: clarity |

If Adam releases a data converter, then you'll be able to convert your TEW05 or Wrespi DOTT data to use. That should tide you over until D.Boon can get a proper update for '07 out.

i cant wait to try out DOTT on TEW2007 it'll be interesting to see who D.Boon utilises with the new-worker function, i expect we will see Foley, Austin, Benoit and the usual suspects, im curious to see wether he will include people like the Rock in there.

That's not true. They will have a whole seven days to crank it out before the full version is released. I hope people catch my sarcasim.

As far as I'm aware, nobody but Adam has the game right now.

I don't know I've heard that TCP makes some really good mods too, but I haven't played any of either of them. So I wouldn't really know.

No one has made a mod anywhere near the quality and depth of DOTT since TEW came out, bar none! |

I understand needing the game to TEST a mod, but wouldnt you just need the DB editor to work on a MOD???
Also, DOTT wouldn't come WITH the game, it would be released on the forums by the mod-maker very shortly after the game releases or even very shortly after the DEMO releases. These are my educated guesses...... |

TCP's are my favorite current day/recent history mods.
But for wrestling buffs and historians, D Boon's DOTT is truly the King of Kings as far as mods go. I don't even play it that much right now as an ongoing game as I'm really into the C-Verse, but I like having it...like a collector...and going into it time and again to try different things with it. It's truly amazing. With the additions to 07, I think my time will be most evenly spent on DOTT and CVerse...with a little FORC thrown in so I can play me some PWG ![]() |
