Hi, I've been reading these forums for a while and I bought the game yesterday. I started to play with D.O.T.T and was wondering has anyone been able to keep the TV show with Stampede Wrestling? I've been getting about 0.3 ratings and the tv-network has complained about my ratings every time.
And where do I set my user charecters booking and business skill? I haven't been able to find it yet. Thanks for the help. |

Your User Characters booking skill is set by his "Reputation" level when you start a game, you can't set it in the editor. However, in the in-game editor you can change it, in the Business section as normal (which doesn't exist for user characters in the pre-game editor).
Can't help you with Stampede I'm afraid. You could try lowering the size of your TV network. Dunno if D. Boon intended Stampede to lose their show or not though. |

I've already changed it in the editor but now im wondering how does your booking and business skill increase? Do you have to be the road agent for a lot of matches for your booking skill to increase? What about business? Thanks for the help!

Actually my User Character has always been a personality, but because of my supreme booking "my" booking skill is now at A grade
Business hasn't changed. |

As far as I know, business and booking skills do not change (apart from as D Lyrium said - when your rep changes). To be honest - given that you are talking about your user character, it doesn't matter in the least whether it changes - you will still do the same job whether your 'character' has good or poor skill. Booking skill has nothing to do with road agenting matches - the stats that will (possibly) increase from road agenting, are respect and psychology. |

Basically, the only one of these stats that even matters for the User Character is the Booking Reputation. I'm pretty sure that the rest of the stats apply only for the AI characters.

Okay, thanks. But I got a new question...
What are the months when tv-networks negotiate for shows? So basically I want to know when do seasons start and end? Last edited by Greek : 02-03-2007 at 04:11 PM. |

Negotiating months are Feb/May/Aug/Nov. The seasons start the following month.

If you look in your diary screen, it will give you how many game days till the next tv network negotiating period.

Your Reputation doesn't seem to be linked to your Backstage skills at all. |

Thank you again!
But the questions just keep on coming. I'm now on E popularity on British Columbia and I tried to negotiate a deal with a tiny network which just airs on BC. So do I have to be like D+ popularity until I can get a tv-deal or can I get it like on D-? I would think that the economy and wrestling industry are factors too. The economy is now E+ and falling and Wrestling Industry C and falling... <e> Thought i don't need to make a new post so i'll just edit my question here. Does the lenght of the show effect anything? Meaning that will I gain more popularity with a 2hour show than I will get with a half hour show with the same rating? And if so let's say i get a C+ with 30min show and C with a 2 hour show, which is better? Last edited by Greek : 02-04-2007 at 10:11 AM. |

Im already regional. Im C- over in The Prairies and have a show that only airs in that region but I would like to get my show on air in other regions too. And in British Columbia my pop is E and F+ everywhere else. So how far do you think Im on landing a tv-deal in BC. If i get to like D- could it be possible?
