It's October 2010 and Danny Fonzarelli is pretty much done in my TCW game. My roster is laarge as it is (which is something that invariably happens to me, I can't resist signing people), he's got five months left on his contract. He's well... Fonzie and though I love the guy, I have much better midcard cannon fodder available than him, especially as he's flagged up as 3-4 years into time decline.
My question is this; rather than dispense of Fonzie, would it be worthwhile to go with a blast from the past and bring back The Darkness Warriors by grabbing Raul from the indies? My tag team divsion is solid, but mostly lacking in experience - I'm not sure if the experience of the team would outweigh the suck of Raul whilst training the other teams up. Effectively, is A* tag experience worth the basalt of Raul, given they're just going to be jobbing anyway and Fonzie no longer has value to me in singles competition? If it helps, Raul doesn't appear to be declining, from what I can tell by monitoring his stats. My division - not including the tag teams which exist but I don't consider part of the division. Regular The New Wave: 100/A* Keith Brothers: 37/D- Mightily Mainstream (Mighty Mo and Mainstream Hernandez): 32/E+ The Canadian Animals: 80/B The Dragons (Frankie Perez and Mikey James): 50/D+ The L.A. Connection (Current champs): 81/B Tag Team Specialists: 74/B- Team Wreckage (Eddie Peak and Calvert, a custom worker who's much the same type as Peak): 2/F- Occasional Ambrose & Valerik (two other customs, think face, slightly younger, slightly worse Tag Team Specialists): 12/F+ Young Guns: 100/A* The Prodigies (KC Glenn and DWN, currently very un-over): 2/F- (Simon) Wood & Taylor (my user character, pretty average all-rounder): 11/F(+) |

Storywise it'd be cool and get something for Fonz to do (I'd hate to see him unemployed) as for whether it'd cover raul IDK

Experience > Everything else with teams, in my experience. Watch out for Raul being rusty, but if he's unemployed and you can get him on a short term deal to see if he works with Jay then that could work well. Do Jay and Raul have a negative relationship, though? I have a vague idea Raul got ratty at someone about being released. |

Nope, they're loyal to each other.
