Default GDS 'Favourite Wrestler Ever' Round Two RESULTS/DISCUSSION

Curt Hennig (41) def Sabu (4)

Sting (41) def Petey Williams (4)

Triple H (41) def Ultimate Warrior (4)

Legion Of Doom (27) def Great Muta (17)

Samoa Joe (23) def Scott Hall (22)

Ric Flair (39) def Ricky Steamboat (6)

Owen Hart (30) def Arn Anderson (15)

The Rock (30) def Mick Foley (15)

Bret Hart (43) def Shelton Benjamin (2)

Chris Jericho (36) def Christian (8)

Raven (26) def Hardy Boyz (19)

Stone Cold (30) def Edge (15)

CM Punk (26) def Antonio Inoki (19)

Hulk Hogan (29) def Stevie Richards (17)

Undertaker (26) def Kurt Angle (19)

Randy Savage (28) def AJ Styles (17)

No real shocks there. Joe and Hall was great to watch come along, there were never really more than 2 apart at any point.

Now excuse me while I vomit at The Rocks demolition of Foley. Statistically, this means more people like Stevie Richards in relation to Hulk Hogan than Foley in relation to The Rock. Actual vomit.

Discuss.

I thought it would've been closer between Angle and 'Taker but i'm glad 'Taker won!

Seems like everyone I voted for got through apart from Inoki (which I guess is because most voters probably don't know him), The Hardy Boyz and Christian. Chris Jericho over Christian? Really?

As good as Christian is, you gotta give the nod to Jericho. He's been everywhere, WWE, WCW, ECW, Japan, Mexico etc. Whereas Christian's been in BCW, WWE, then TNA I believe. I do love Christian still though.

True, but Christian's been in some great ladder matches over the years. Those and his Captain Charisma persona are what put him ahead of Jericho for me.

Actually, I think it means more people hate Hogan!

I like Christian, but Jericho is way more charasmatic, and of course, is a former World Champion, which Christian is not ( I know, I know, everyone mark out on the 'history' of the NWA title - but in it's current state, it's no "world" title - championship of Universal Orlando maybe. It hasn't been a world title since Flair and WCW pissed all over it - then only to have ECW and Douglas piss all over it the very next year!)

oooohhhh who's more charismatic between Jericho and Christian? Now there's a debate!

Christian may be Captian Charisma but he is no Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla! Plus Jericho's been in some good ladder matches too. Y2J vs. Benoit at the 2002 Royal Rumble comes to mind.

Nuts to that! I consider the NWA world heavyweight title an official world title. Now granted there were times in the past that I didn't, but with TNA's growth you gotta give it World title status. It may not be as prestigious as the WWE title or the World title, but it's certainly higher than the IC title, which is the highest Christian got in WWE. I agree about Jericho being more charismatic though.

I honestly wouldn't think of it as any higher then the IC though... Or the US for that matter. I think of it as over the Cruiserweight title, which is right where I put the X-Division title..

Reason being, is not because I think they suck or anything. I just feel that the X-Division title at times to me holds more weight then their so called world title. To me the X-Division is right around cruiserweight or between that and IC, but certainly not over the IC. I think their world title at times is lower then the X-Div to be honest...

We are talking Prestige right? That's where I'm coming from.. Not trying to say it's not a real world title.

To be honest there isn't many people who would have been that close to the rock popularity-wise. Personally i think that Ric Flair was handing out bubblegum to make people vote for the Rock!

Poor Shelton... Who else voted for him?

I think he could've pulled out a last minute voting surge, but I was obviously really really off.

BTW, I directly blame everyone who voted for Hart for Shelton falling off that rope. You all know you did it!

I voted for Shelton.

The only thing that was a shock to me was Joe beating Hall. Is this board full of 13 year olds or something?

I just wanted to say Chris Jericho has way more charisma than Christian will ever have hands down. There is no debate. Captain Charisma is a joke. 38 - 6 seems perfectly reasonable. Chris Jericho is easily 6x better than Christian. I think you need to relive some WCW+WWE history than watch CC on TNA every week.

Jericho dominating Christian isn't surprising to me. If Jericho ever went to TNA he would be HUGE (much much bigger than Christian is.) No doubt about it.

Disappointing is The Rock / Mick Foley matchup as they are 2 legends. Foley with working everywhere, and his characters while the Rock may be the most charismatic of all time.

Disappointing is the Samoa Joe / Scott Hall outcome. Personally I think Samoa Joe can't hold Scott's jockstrap when it comes to getting over and personality on the big stage. I like Joe and all, but Hall was the man at Razor Ramon.

I'm surprised the Undertaker / Kurt Angle match was so close (maybe that's my hatred of Angle coming through though.)
