If I have two separate storylines going... for instance Hogan vs. Backlund for the World Title and Steamboat/Youngblood vs. Afa/Sika for the Tag Titles... and both storylines call for a six man tag match, could I use one six man tag match with Backlund/Steamboat/Youngblood vs. Afa/Sika/Hogan that will advance both storylines?

as long as they both require the same outcome ie, backlund/steamboat/youngblood victories or afa/sika/hogan victories then you can. i think they'd all have to have the same side in the storyline aswell eg backlund/steamboat/youngblood all have to be side 1 in their storylines.

If one storyline requires Backlund/Steamboat/Youngblood vs. 'Side 2', and the other requires Afa/Sika/Hogan vs. 'Side 2', then yes, that would work.
The only problem is, as ahw said, if both teams need to win in their storyline, you obviously can't do it, because both teams can't win the match. But in theory, yes. It's the same for singles matches. If, say, The Rock needs to beat someone in his storyline, and Stevie Richards needs to lose to someone in his, then The Rock beating Richards would advance both. |

this is why I mostly use unchained storylines. I find it much more entertaining than being chained in by plot points.
