Default What happened to J-Zone around here?

I see there used to be a topic, but now there isn't.

J-Zone used resources from T-Zone without permission, and under the new modding rules you've got to ask permission before using stuff from other people's mods.

Funny you ask..

(This topic may get deleted because I'm going to tell you what happened)

The new rules (because of Lukie) stated, the LINK to data had to be removed within' 3-days.

I removed the link in 2-days and then expressed my opinion on the current state of TEW data files.

I'd like to know why exactly I was wrong for stating my opinion, maybe because it was harsh, but VERY VERY true and some people, can not deal with the truth.

My good friend Mr. Cooper is trying to fight the battle over at EWBattleground.com because Lukie is now starting crap over there and the new Mod rules ARE NOT IN EFFECT at EWBattleground.com.

But needless to say, Lukie is trying to ruin the enjoyment for all you fellow TEW Gamers again.

I'd just really like the thank the sites hosting the current real world data's that are released because you're doing a good job at allowing all fellow gamers the opportunity to enjoy TEW2007.

He doesn't have one because he is disgusted with what's been transpiring over the last few weeks.

Ruining people's fun for TEW? Why don't they just used the stats that Walter ripped off from?

I've had about enough of this. I along with a fair number of people was upset when Forc was first pulled. I'm sick and tired of the Lukie bashing though. If you pay attention, read some of the old threads, and look at everything with an open mind, it was a stated fact he origionaly didn't want a new FORC using his data.

He had every right to be upset to find one posted. He and the FORC team have since came to an agreement and FORC is coming out.

So, let's stop the disrespectful attitudes, please. I get the feeling that if it continues, a lot of great mod makers are just going to say forget it, and stop making mods.

Because Lukie doesn't want people enjoying ANY Real World Data's for TEW2007.

Forlan, I'd watch out for Lukie if I were you. I mean, if you duplicate even ONE thing that was written in his bio's, you're mod might get shut down as well. I hope not though for the sake of everyone here. (minus Lukie of course)

No you see, you're just overstating things and taking what has been said, and twisting it. Forlan is safe, as he asked and that's what the rules stated. As lukie has stated, he's very, very open to people using real world data.. just not anything that's been ripped off and claimed as one's own work.

Enjoy!

Post your suggestions!

PS. DO NOT STEAL THIS MOD!

Taken from ewbattleground.

I would once again like to point out the incredible amount of hypocrisy required for one person to take data without permission and then in their own post say 'DO NOT STEAL THIS MOD.'

Either you are 'for' or 'against' users being able to freely share data. Can't have it both ways.

Don't worry, J-Zone was locked over at EWBattleground, and something about him having a double account... I'm not too sure.

I laughed.

Adam said it best. The best way to deal with this is ignore the people involved, no longer post in their threads and don't download their data.

I'm taking that advice.

Eh, but then they'll just double account\get internet friends to bump it. Oh well... sometimes you just can't win with some people.
