There's currently no way to assign a future worker to a promotion, everyone just appears in the database and then is available for hire. As for owners, workers need to be at least a certain age (I think it's 28), having a roughly apporpiate business skill (huge company would need high owner skill, small company small) and a style preference that fits with the kind of promotion that is available too. Similarly, bookers need to have some skill in booking and be old enough too.

67 promotions in the history of ever? I demand more!

Thanks DB. I've just updated the total that I've entered into the database and I still have at least 32 to go - those are the Japanese ones - which brings the total to 117.

Two things I'd like to ask the forum:

1:- Does anybody know where I can get a list or details of real-world dojos or schools? I want at least three for each area (country, not region). Also, apart from being better trained than randomly generated workers (which is an assumption, correct me if I'm wrong), does the dojo have any other effect on the game? Is their any good reason why I'd have more than one school for each discipline?

2:- Would anyone like to volunteer to help me fine tune the promotions? I have only listed their names and birth year and bios so far but need help with the product. Any help would be great.

I am currently adjusting the product settings of the future promotions. The total of new promotions is 111 as opposed to the proposed 117 because some of that 117 have been moved to Dojos. The 7 new workers have stats to incorporate their business skill and with a hope and a preyer the AI will give them their correct jobs (although that's asking a bit much).

If anybody is interested in this mod I have a question:

What would you rather play?

1. A game that starts off with 1 playable promotion (PNW) in 1926. You have until 1931 to get a headstart over the next promotion to arrive (Jim Crockett Promotions). Bear in mind the starting number of available workers will be 0, so you probably won't fill your roster for six months or so.

2. A game that starts in 1931 where you have a choice of playing with PNW who have five years under their belt and are at regional (based on what the AI acheived in a test), or Jim Crockett Promotions who start off right at the bottom. If this is the popular option I might fill PNW with the roster they aquired in testing - even though that defeats the purpose of being organic.
