Default Modern

I know that "modern" is set for more of a high paced approach to in-ring action... So does that mean the two most important stats are: Flying & Athleticism?

I created my own company and I originally had Modern at "low", however, I've realized a lot of my best talent are actually quite athletic and are good flyers. I currently have Hardcore at "medium" and only really a handful of hardcore wrestlers over a C+, So I'm thinking of swapping the two levels.

So, Just wanted to know what stats were most important for "modern" wrestlers.

I think Flashiness would count but I think high levels of Daredevil would make Flashiness more important. Modern is fast paced high and high flying but I htink ti could also mena fast paced technical so anyone with a really high chain wrestling (Like Marc Speed in CZCW who always does well) might do fine in a Modern Envoirnment as well. I think my favorite two features are Cult Heavy and Modern High.

Aerial, Chain wrestling, Athleticism.

I say this as someone who runs promotions with Modern as a Key Feature, always. Think TNA's X-Division from back in 2002 or so. That's modern. If you've ever seen Mariko Yoshida's early work (when she was in AJW) or Manami Toyota or Emi Sakura, that's modern too. As far as worker styles, cruiserweights, super juniors, spot monkeys, and the like do very well in modern focused products. I was hooked when I saw a tape of a joshi show where one worker hit the other with a springboard back elbow, kipped up, then followed with a beautiful standing drop kick. That's modern action. Just think of what skills would be required to perform that kind of match and you can figure it out from there.

stick to the flyers, modern is all about taking to the sky in fast matches. Tech heads do well if puro is high, but tend to not fit well with high flyers i find. I would sign up every good CW/spot monkey/super J with a few lucha's(set some lucha in your product, opens a few more options i find).

otherwise, sign up a few normal wrestlers to keep everything balanced, they always come in handy to balance feuds and such i find.
