Default Concerning the big stars in the Cornellverse...

There are a lot of big stars in the Cornellverse, stars that are constantly main eventing their respective promotions, stars known around the world, such as Yoshimi Musashibo, Eisaku Kunomasu, Haruki Kudo, Optimus, Dread, the Elemental, Mito Miwa to name a few in Japan, you've got lots of big stars in North America too, Christian Faith, Sam Keith, Jack Bruce, RDJ, Gilmore, Runaway Train, Liberty, Tommy Cornell himself, up in Canada, McFly, the Stones...Ya know, those stars known around the world.

What I would like to know is, who do you think that will be on top halfway through 2008? Will there be much changes to who's on top?

My other question is, who do you think that are the biggest stars a company could have, who are your top 5 of the CV's current big stars, and how will you use them in TEW 2008?

Two people most likely to be on the top.

Marc DuBois and Wolf Hawkins.

i see Marc DuBois becoming a major star in 08. If he is not main eventer i think he will be high upper mid. That guy is just golden. I see enigma droping down although. maybe unmasked even and a new gimmick.

Who are your top 5 big stars by the way?

Here's mine:

5. Runaway Train (although he's not a great wrestler, he's a perfect fit in the SWF, and can have A matches with pretty much anyone on the current Main Event scene, has an amazing ability to reach A+ overness in a short time span)

4. Sean McFly (a huge talent, one of the best in the C-Verse, he could carry Peter Valentine to a great match, and that's saying something, he can reach the Main Event with a complete lack of mic skills, but with some time, he can pull out decent interviews, I use him in Overness rated angles, or I have someone help him in interviews, but, in the ring, McFly kicks ass)

3. Eisaku Kunomasu (absolutely fantastic talent, everytime I play in Japan as PGHW, I use him as much as humanly possible, he is the best in Japan in my opinion, screw the rest)

2. Dan Stone Jr (Pound for pound the best wrestler in the game in my opinion, he, like McFly, can carry anyone to a classic, too bad I can only use him in NOTBPW, which makes my game relatively easy, with such great talent and little competition, but, with competition or not, NOTBPW are extremely lucky to have Dan Stone Jr as their main guy, he, along with Jeremy, Duane, McFly, and others, is a part of the elite in the C-Verse.

1. Christian Faith (pure drawing power, that's what Faith carries along with him, ultra charismatic, decent wrestler, but he's not number one because of his wrestling skills, to me, and many of you would agree, Christian Faith is today's improved Sam Strong, Faith hardly loses the Main Event slot, and his chemistry with many of the SWf main fixtures helps)

Tommy Cornell would be my number 6 pick, many other greats were left out, but this is who I think are the best.

DuBois, Rich Money, Wolf Hawkins, Darryl Devine, Rick Law, Pride Koiso, and another select few are my bets as the new breed in the C-Verse's Main Event scene.

Depending on which new stars have been "debuted" in '08 I would put money on youngsters like Jay Chord and the Gauge Brothers really making some noise.

My pick for blue chipper is Joey Minnesota. This guy has it all. He can talk, he can work and he can get over in an SE fed or a traditional wrestling promotion.

5. Remo finally breaks into the main event and is the SWF World Champion by the beginning of 2008, much like Frehley did 2 years earlier.

4. Jack Giedroyc has taken by TCW and is battling Tommy Cornell in the main event using his "Wrath of God " gimmick to get a huge popularity boost.

3. Johnny Bloodstone takes his turn atop the NOTBPW Canadian title picture as the main opponent for the Stones, either with or replacing Sean McFly.

2. If McFly leaves NOTBPW, he goes to Japan and becomes either a BHOTWG or GCG World Champion.

1. Eddie Chandler stands as the CGC World Champion and has almost surpassed the DeColts in popularity in the company as the premier heel in Canada, if he hasn't defected to NOTBPW by then.

Notable mentions
  • Joey Minnesota in DAVE main event battling either Eddie Peak or Big Cat Brandon as one of them will have joined TCW or SWF.
  • Steve Flash will be the NYCW Empire Champion- replacing a departed Grandmaster Phunk, who will probably be a National Champion or contender in USPW.
  • American Elemental will finally get the nod as Elemental III in a torch passing retirement match with Elemental II.
  • Both Jay Chord and Casey Valentine will start in MAW.

I only play as North American companies so I am not too familiar with Mexico, or Japan really.

5) Troy Tornado - He can put on good matches and does well from an entertainment perspective.

4) Jack Bruce - He is a guy who can do it all. Good on the mic and can put on great matches.

3) Sam Keith - Sorry I love his picture, stats, and how I envision his character.

2) Sean McFly - He is great in the ring and does amazing when given a great manager.

1) Tommy Cornell - Easily hands down the best character in the game. He can be used in so many different ways and he puts on great matches even with crappy talent.

As for guys making a run into the top... I say Wolf Hawkins will be making a run at the top 5 list. I also think Mainstream Hernandez will be doing very well.

Yeah but TCW is too heel heavy. So I don't think that would work too well.

Alicia Strong's skills and fame could very well result in a new women's division for SWF (or TCW for that matter)

Thank you Caulfield.

I have played as 21CW but the lack of talent their makes it hard for me to get into it.
