Sudden loss of skill

Has anyone else started out a game and suddenly expereinced a sudden loss of skill? I started a new game with Golden Scorpion (man he has a swank outfit!) and after the first match his speed dropped by 2 points and his stamina dropped 19 points! Both areas say they are now at their peak (Speed at 75 and Stamina at 80). Is this because he wrestles super junior style and those particuar stats are maxed at 75 and 80 or is this some random occurence that can happen?

You nailed it: certain styles have stat caps built in. I'm pretty sure that they vary, though - so while this Super Junior may cap at 75 Speed, another might be different.

At least I think that's how it works. I sure hope so, at least.

Check out your training resume. You may not be spending enough time on those things, which would lead you to falter in those areas.

It doesn't have anything to do with my with my training I don't believe since I would have found out from the Expert's Opinion.

Make sure you are using the latest patch, there was a glitch in an earlier one that would cause this effect.

Thanks Adam, I know I'm using the 1.5 patch, I can't remember if I got the revised one though. Was the glitch in the first release of 1.5 or earlier? Also would redownloading 1.5 effect any of the stuff I've downloaded from the Cornellverse?

Can't remember what patch it was in. It shouldn't effect anything you've downloaded, as the patch is just the game, not the data files.

Started another new game with Hell Monkey to see if the problem was fixed and the drop happend again. His speed dropped to 75 and his toughness dropped by 5 or 10.

Are you absolutely sure you're using the latest version?

I redownloaded version 1.5 yesterday and the opening title screen says version 1.5

I checked this out with my version of the game and didn't have trouble. Started as Hell Monkey and the stats didn't change, so it must be your version.

I just noticed in my Rookies to Legends mode that the stat loss has affected the computer workers as well. Hell Mokey's speed has dropped to 75 as well as American Elemental's. I'm only a couple months into the game. Its not really all that big a deal, just a little annoying.

Sorry, I'm completely baffled as to the cause. Nobody else seems to be getting it, and I can't find any way that it could happen. Unless you can spot something specific that I can work on, I'm afraid there's very little I can do.

Thanks anyway Adam, I've redownloaded the game and started a career with American Elemental and there are no problems in my first month so far so maybe I didn't download the 1.5 Patch again like I thought I did. Anyhoo, thanks.
