don't buy it.

And even if I did, sounds like a good two-shoes group to me.

Actually, I'm approaching this from a slightly different angle.

Prince of Persia is an action type game, correct? That'd imply that the Prince can do SOMETHING--kill, protect, use his hourglass to stop/reverse time and guarantee an action, etc.

Ken has said that both he and the prince has no action. I'm not sure I buy that based on knowledge of the game.

I only have the player who is the Prince's word on that - I have not seen his role PM. I have no action, and win when I survive. For him, I cannot answer.

On the surface, yes, my character is a 'good' role. My first PM to my wingman was saying that we were screwed - we can't work with the town (evil) as we both look very scummy (good) just from our role titles. Be that as it may, I have told you everything you know and will happily offer my vote to any cause the town wants, as I have to live to win.

I find that odd, I know I've never been in any sort of group where we didn't share our role PMs.

He's been busy recently - I've asked him to send it along and I'll get back to you with the concrete evidence as soon as I have it.

Not hard to see who it was from his hints and reaction, so his talking through you does no real good.

I've never played the games so will do some research after my shower.

Actually I am interested in how he intends to spin this as a non scum role. While I haven't played the series, I have seen reviews of the games, so I could see a way. At the end of the day though, I still think the Prince will end up as a hero/scum and so will anyone associated with him.

Was beginning to wonder if he was going to be allowed to speak before people rushed through this one too. Glad we let him speak. Could see this being a few different ways.

I could see two good guys as survivors. What interest do they have in this war that would cause them to side with the rest of the good characters? I could also see 2 characters as survivors with no ability. Mason partner survivors isn't bad. Don't want to hand them a kill or they become SKs.

I think mason survivor partners works.

This, I could see being useful. Doesn't mean it's going to be there, for sure, but if they were to have an ability I'd imagine it'd be something like this. It would help keep them alive.

I really think we should look more at who's doing the voting so fast.

Spin? I've given you a full claim and told you exactly what I believe both halves of out team does. What more do I need to spin?

The game that this version of the Prince is from does not feature his magic hourglass, I do believe. Haven't played it, but I'm pretty sure they'd phased it out by the time this release rolled around.

Wasn't your claim that I was waiting to see spun. Your claim is a support character to the main character. It's the main character's claim that I was waiting to see other than just what the role is. The Prince of Persia is the main hero role in that series, and that has all the earmarks of scum in this game. So I want to see what he says is his alignment and win condition and how he justifies it .

I have just received my buddy's role PM.

He is: The Prince, Persia Aligned Prince

His PM just contains the same info as mine, slightly reworded - Elika's magic no longer works, and we're out of towners trapped in somewhere now ruled by martial law. He wins when he survives. Just like me.

I will happily answer any questions anyone has.
