Enemies of the Noble: Rise of the Apostasy [SIGN UP THREAD]
 It appears as if the current short game is rounding third so I figured I'd go ahead and post this. I'd prefer to have a full game of players so I have no problem waiting for sign ups to roll in, not to mention I'll need to wait for Rev to get back too and there are 2 long games going on. Dayordra
Dayordra is a mostly arid planet and roughly the size of Earth’s Russia. Its days last about 48 hours and its nights about 24 due to its distance from its sun. It was colonized by a scout unit of The United Human Forces, a military faction of Earth descendents. The group was granted permission to claim the planet as their own and was relieved of their military duties. The planet had no known intelligent life form currently occupying it, though research showed that it had at some point been colonized by another species. The colony is still fairly young, having occupied Dayordra for just over half a century. Though because of those who colonized it the planet has quickly risen to a militaristic and technological powerhouse. During the time of colonization there have been many attempts to overthrow the government by outsiders, but the strength of their military has proven to be too much for all that tried. Government
The government of Dayordra can be compared to a militaristic dictatorship, though with some differences. The person at the head of the government is known as the Premier and they have the most authority and power. The Premier, however, is not the ultimate authority as a set of checks and balances ensure that the government is not overthrown. The first Premier was appointed when Dayordra was colonized and new Premiers are only appointed if the reigning Premier has died or retired. If the reigning Premier has a child of above the age limit, he or she will become the new Premier. If no such child exists a new Premier is appointed. If there is an assassination of the Premier the system changes substantially to ensure that the Premiership isn’t awarded to a member of a rebel group. Three officials are voted into office by the citizens of Dayordra. These officials operate similarly to a single Premier; only a majority vote between the three will cause an action to go through. These officials can be removed from office if voted out by the citizens of Dayordra. In this case another election will take place. These three officials will remain in charge until a proper investigation of the death has been made. In the event that the assailant(s) have been named or apprehended any child can be appointed or in the case of no child another shall be appointed. The military and police units are one in the same for Dayordra. All military units report to the commander who reports only to the Premier or the three elected officials. The Noble
The Noble are an elite soldier unit for the government of Dayordra. Noble are genetically altered super soldiers who are created in labs. Embryos are donated to the government by the mothers a few weeks after conception. Scientists take those embryos and alter them on the DNA level, recoding them to exhibit specific traits. Several hundred years worth of studies have allowed them to nearly perfect the process. There are a few changes that are made to every embryo to ensure that they work as needed. The first is rapid aging, allowing the complete embryo to grow nearly four times as quick as a normal one. Once the size of a traditional young adult the aging process is slowed down so that a Noble can live roughly twice as long as a normal person. Other changes to all Noble include super strength, enhanced athleticism, faster brain processing, and a high pain threshold. The final adjustment made to all Noble is infertility. There have long been fears that a child born of a Noble parent could exhibit severe complications. Once the basics are set up for each embryo the scientists begin to give additional abilities. These are very specific and are based on perceived needs and perfected experiments. These abilities vary in many different ways and are comparable to powers seen in Earth’s comic books. I'd like to play this one, but this is my bad season (plus The League, and I'm in a game at the moment).
Slot me in a reserve spot for now. If things clear up, I might move to the main roster.
