Can someone give me some info on Ryogaku Wada?

In both T-Zone and Lukie's puro mod it just has him listed as referee for UWFi with weak stats in hand.. but then as I went off searching for pictures, I noticed that NJPW had a Ryogaku Wada in 2003.. and the images of him (http://www.njpw.co.jp/news/press/2003/04/0407_01.html) match up with images I've got of a Ryogaku Wada wrestling Azteca and possibly doing some shoot fighting (there are incomplete stat pages for a Ryogaku Wada on MMA pages as well)

So Is this guy a referee? Was he one and has transitioned into proper worker? Is it a part time thing? Or is it all just in my head?
