Default Render Help (Thanks to anyone who does)

I have a couple questions about rendering

1. How do i install the Starter Kit and The Michael 3.0 Base, (both of which i have just downloaded, but can't get to work)

2. How do i get the render's to such high quality as seen in the render thread

3. Where can i find some decent shorts or at least something that resembles shorts, That are of course free

Again thanks to anyone who helps

1. Did you read the tutorials and stuff about installing new content?

2. I personally photoshop mine.

3. Renderosity and Digital Creations are good places to look.

You'll have to elaborate more on the "can't get to work". If you've installed DAZ|Studio in the default install location then the Starter Kit and Michael 3.0 should also install in the correct place.

Practice, lighting, post-work using graphics software.

Renderosity Free Stuff and there's also a Freepozitory section on the DAZ forums. But you could also just add some shorts to the render image using a graphics package, depending on your ability.

Photoshop costs $650, GIMP is a free alternative to Photoshop.

Thanks again undertaker

now i only have 2 problems

1. When i install Michael 3.0 Base, it always stays as an installer not a folder, as well as the starter kit

2. What i mean by high quality is when i render the image, its always so small and fuzzy

The files you've downloaded are installation files, run them, follow the instructions and the relevant files will be installed in the correct place.

- On the main menu click on "Render" and then "Render Settings"
- Change "Dimensions: Presets" to Custom and then put in the size of the image you want in Pixel Dimensions.
- Select "New Window" for the "Render To:" option.
- Click Accept.

When you render your image you'll see a seperate pop-up window while it's rendering, when you save the render it'll have the dimension sizes you set earlier.
