Well, my xbox is out for repair, but you can add me. And I think here in the states it's still another week or so before it comes out.

Cool i've added you. There are a couple of thousand people from America playing online just now but those are possibly people who work in video game stores etc.

I would love to have you a game on Fifa 09 but I went to tesco to get it today as I saw it for £30 in the paper and just my luck it's sold out for xbox 360. I might get it on the weekend so I will have you a game then.

I was so tempted to pick up fifa at blockbuster last night, but alas, we hired out DVD's instead and my marrige was saved! Have you tried out season mode yet? Last year's was quite good, i'm interested to see how this one plays, be a pro career mode sounds like a giggle too

Yup I have a game in both modes on the go. Be a Pro is surprisingly good, I chose Darren Fletcher of Man Utd. The point of the mode is to take a player and make him an International Icon within 4 years and then win player of the tournament at the World Cup.

Manager mode is same old but the financial system has been greatly improved which makes it twice as enjoyable in my opinion.

It's alot better then in fifa 08 when you didn't even get one season and you could only play single games on be a pro mode.

It's actually fairly lenghty especially if you are a fringe player and have to play a lot of reserve games. You can also keep the same player for your next go on the mode so it's pretty much endless.

Im just wondering why they didn't do what they did in NHL and have the entire career instead of just 4 years.

Hmmm probably so they can add that in next years

I'm thinking it's probably because that feature is a massive selling point of "FIFA Manager".

having played be a pro career in multiplayer with three mates last night, i decided if it were a complete multiplayer feature, i wouldn't play anything else! Best Fifa yet, still pre evo fans won't even try it and it won't get the critical acclaim it deserves 'cos its an EA franchise and EA are EVIL.

I'm what you would call a PES fanboy but I can hands on heart say that FIFA is such the superior game this year. I've played both the PC & Xbox 360 demos of PES and I have to say they have taken two major steps back since PES 6 with this game and last years.

I still prefer Pro Evo and the Be A Legend mode in pro evo is much better than Fifa's be a pro.
