I'm playing with the current (2.1.0) demo and when I click "hire coaches" nothing shows up on what I assume should be a list of assistant coaches you can hire. Unless I let the CPU handle this I can't progress beyond that phase and it's really quite disconcerting.
I'm using 64-bit Windows 7, in administrator mode. I've repeatedly reinstalled the demo to no avail. |

Are you using a language format in Windows other than English? That tends to be the cause of issues like this. If so please let me know which one.

Give this demo patch a shot and it should work now:
http://www.fbbgames.com/FBCB2010DemoUpdate.exe Just download the file and let it extract over the demo install. |

It works but gives me loads of runtime error 9s.

OK, Ill run some more tests. Are the errors still on the assistant screen or at other times during the season?

Only during assistant coach hiring as far as I can tell. Recruiting, the roster screen and all that is perfectly fine.
I switched to a UK language format so it's not a super pressing issue. ![]() |
