![]() Location: JFC Headquarters – Sacramento, CA January 14th, 1999 ::PRESS CONFERENCE:: JFC Representative: First off I would like to thank the media for coming out, this is going to be a day that the MMA world will never forget, ladies and gentleman I introduce to you the brains and the brawn behind this entire federation, Jacob “Bombstriker” White! (The media claps as Jacob emerges from the curtain and makes a move to the podium as some snap shots are taken. Jacob steps up to the podium and clears his throat) Jacob: My assistant Thomas Madison is right, today is a day that the MMA world will not forget because this is a birth of a new company among other giants in the sport. Oh and first of all let me clear this up right away I am in no way related to that blad douche Dana White! (The media laughs at the remark) Jacob: Now let me get down to the point. I am the owner, operator, and creator of the company you will be seeing for a long time to come. What is the name of this MMA franchise that will take the world by storm you ask? (Jacob turns around grabbing the cloth behind him and pulls it down revealing a huge JFC logo, more pictures go off) Jacob: The Junkie Fighting Championships, we will be based mainly out of California but will branch out as soon as out popularity rises across the U.S. The JFC will have plenty of backing from sponsors and such so money shouldn’t be much of an issue to start out with, lets just say I know a few connections….. Now the JFC will be starting things out with something I like to call the Junkie Ultimate Fighter! (The media look intrigued) Jacob: Junkie Ultimate Fighter will consist of 16 fighters, 8 from the United States, 8 from the United Kingdom! They will all be sharing a house while elimination fights take place as we make way to crown the first two Junkie Ultimate Fighters. The two weightclasses that we will be covering are from one extreme to the next, the JFC Heavyweight Division and the JFC Lightweight Division will be represented. (The crowd seems very interested and are sitting at the edge of their seat) Jacob: As of this moment the JFC will have 5 divisions opening up and there will be a title for each division. At the end of Junkie Ultimate Fighter the title for that division will be on the line to crown the first ever Heavy and Lightweight champions. The plan right now is to have 2 fights from the JUF each show along with the JFC’s other bouts. This way it will allow fighters to recuperate from fight to fight. This is something that I am very excited about and when you throw 16 guys into a house there is no telling what will happen! So stay tuned and don’t miss out of the first season of Junkie Ultimate Fighter! (The media jumps up asking for questions) Jacob: Uummmm I really need to get going I have time for one question……. You what is it? Media Person: How soon before we see the debut of the JFC? Jacob: We are going to kick things off next month, the last week of February so make sure you tune in! Alright, I am outta here, stay tuned for more updates guys and I hope you all enjoy the Junkie Fighting Championships!!! (Jacob nods and waves to the crowd as he exits the stage to the right leaving the media wanting to know more) |

![]() Junkie Ultimate Fighter Introduction ![]() ![]() Team United Kingdom: "The Yorkshire Ripper" William Powell Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (8-7) Hometown: Leeds, England Age: 27 Height: 5'8 Insight: This consistent Submission fighter lacks BJJ skills and striking skills but is an overall decent fighter. Not great in one category of the game but not horrible in anything either. William brings in the most experience to the JUF house in his weightclass. "Mr. T" Tim Oldacres Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (0-0) Hometown: Coventry, England Age: 22 Height: 5'8 Insight: Originally a kick boxer, Tim Oldacres spent a year cross-training in various disciplines in order to build up his overall MMA game. He looks like he has a bright future. Tim severally lacks a wrestling but he hopes to pick up on things quick enough to go deep into the season. "The Jester" Ron Chuckle Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (2-1) Hometown: Liverpool, England Age: 21 Height: 5'9 Insight: A grappler who likes to work from on top and dominate his way to decision victories, Ron Chuckle is not the most dangerous fighter in the world, but is good enough that anyone who underestimates him might find themselves on the wrong end of an upset. Grant "The Long Shot" Capelli Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (0-0) Hometown: Lands End, England Age: 21 Height: 5'7 Insight: Very new to the sport, Capelli holds an amateur record of 4-19 but won his qualifying match by a knockout in the 3rd round after getting pummeled the first two. Capelli is indeed what his name says.... he is The Long Shot to win this season of JUF. Jesse "The Spartan" Singh Weightclass: Heavyweight (222lbs) Record: (13-4) Hometown: North London, England Age: 29 Height: 6'2 Insight: A fairly average Heavyweight, Jesse Singh is a decent striker with quick hands, but ultimately is too one-dimensional to trouble the elite. He plans on coming into the house and knocking out anyone who stands in his way of winning this season. Terry "Sitting" Bull Weightclass: Heavyweight (246lbs) Record: (0-0) Hometown: Devon, England Age: 22 Height: 6'2 Insight: Lumbering Heavyweight Terry Bull from England is nominally a ground and pound fighter, but in reality his lack of mobility, cardio, and all-round skills mean that he rarely get to even attempt takedowns, let alone complete and capitalise on them. Terry will rely on his big mass to smother his opponents. Brian "Big Bri" Barnes Weightclass: Heavyweight (240lbs) Record: (11-8) Hometown: Newcastle, England Age: 31 Height: 6'1 Insight: Getting up there in age Brian is trying to get his name out there before his MMA days are over. Brian is a fighter from the old days where big guys could show up and win MMA fights due to their sheer size and power. "Granite" Kevin Portman Weightclass: Heavyweight (243lbs) Record: (9-5) Hometown: Manchester, England Age: 33 Height: 6'1 Insight: Probably the most physically intimidating man in MMA let along the JUF House, Kevin Portman is a former body builder who looks like he was carved from granite, hence his nickname. Unfortunately for him, his skills do not match his look, and although he can do damage, he is no match for the elite of the sport. Team United States: "The Cleveland Stormer" Moss Gilbert Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (5-0) Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio Age: 25 Height: 5'7 Insight: Moss Gilbert was a decent amateur boxer who has now moved into MMA. His strength is his stand-up work, with his quick hands and great footwork making him a tough opponent to trade with. He will need to work on his ground game before he can dominate the other members of the house it presents a huge weakness in his ability. "The Earl" Hinton Grey Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (1-0) Hometown: Raleigh, North Carolina Age: 22 Height: 5'8 Insight: Hinton Grey is an all-rounder, a versatile Lightweight who is competent in all aspects of MMA. He submitted his opponent in the JUF qualifier to get into the house in just a little over a minute. Hinton could be the real darkhorse in this entire competition. Dominic "The Smash" Ash Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (5-0) Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Age: 28 Height: 5'7 Insight: A fairly late convert to MMA, Dominic Ash used to be a decent pro boxer before deciding to switch sports after seeing a GAMMA event on television at a bar. He is a very good technical boxer, with great movement, hand speed and technique, but is lacking in the other aspects of MMA. He does, however, have a good sprawl, and that helps him keep fights standing. Kyle "The Guillotine" Sagal Weightclass: Lightweight Record: (3-0) Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts Age: 23 Height: 5'10 Insight: A takedown artist, Kyle Sagal's entire gameplan revolves around getting the fight to the ground where he can utilise his submission skills, particularly his deadly guillotine choke. One thing that Kyle made clear to everyone at the qualifiers was that he was the man born to win this competition. He came off as a ****y and arrogant fighter in the cage as well, he could pose as a problem for the other fighters, in and out of the cage. Taye Burnett Weightclass: Heavyweight (209lbs) Record: (0-0) Hometown: Independence, Missouri Age: 21 Height: 6'2 Insight: Taye Burnett is a young Heavyweight fighter who established a big reputation for himself as an amateur wrestler in his college days. Winning 2 NCAA Division I Championship's for Oklahoma Taye comes in as a serious threat to the others in the house with his wrestling game. He is on the lighter side of most of the JUF Heavyweights though. "Silent but Violent" Wilson Franklyn Weightclass: Heavyweight (234lbs) Record: (2-0) Hometown: Columbus, Georgia Age: 25 Height: 6'4 Insight: A former bouncer, the menacing Wilson Franklyn is one of the least subtle fighters in MMA; he brings a sledgehammer-like right hand to the dance, and that's about it. "The American Male" Vincent Chapin Weightclass: Heavyweight (218lbs) Record: (21-14) Hometown: Los Angeles, California Age: 38 Height: 6'1 Insight: Vincent Chapin is a veteran of Mixed Martial Arts. A great physical specimen, in great shape even as he approaches 40, he likes to use his wrestling abilities to grind down opponents. Vincent knows his time in the sport is drawling near so he plans on going out on top as the first Junkie Ultimate Fighter! "The Big Bopper" Barry Strachan Weightclass: Heavyweight (240lbs) Record: (24-15) Hometown: Detroit, Michigan Age: 33 Height: 5'11 Insight: A hired gun, the veteran Barry Strachan was one of the first generation of MMA fighters, back when matches were basically caged street fights and the guy who punched the hardest could win comfortably. It will be interesting to see if Barry's old school approach can advance him in the house against these newer and younger talents. |

![]() Location: JUF House – Los Angeles, CA January 20th, 1999 ::FIGHTERS ARRIVE AT THE JUF HOUSE:: ![]() (4 Vans come pulling up with a "Junkie Ultimate Fighter" design on the sides of them as the camera pans out to show a huge mansion-like house. The vans come to a stop and the 16 fighters climb from the vans pulling out their luggage's and carry them through the huge wooden front door. As the fighters file in JFC Owner Jacob "Bombstriker" White is waiting for them with a huge smile on his face) Jacob: How is everyone feelin'? How you UK guys aren't too jet lagged because starting tomorrow you all are going to be hitting the gym hard, and I mean damn hard. (The fighters don't look too worried) Jacob: Guys this is a once and lifetime opportunity, no other MMA dynasty or company in the WMMA world is doing this. You are the first 16 guys to do this. You will be fighting on the JFC cards with the other non-JUF fighters and they are going to be jealous, not lie. They may end up hating you by the time this is all said and done because while they are out there busting their asses just like you, you will be getting all the TV time. You 16 will be known around the WMMA world, so don't screw this up for yourselves got it? Fighters: Yeah! Jacob: Great, now the JFC don't have any true MMA veterans that can coach you guys so you are going to have to work as a team. You are going to be in each others corners calling the fights for each other, you guys are going to be living together..... this is your guys chance I can't stress that enough! (Jacob pauses for a minute as he looks around the room) Jacob: Now February 28th is our first JFC event, there will be two JUF fights taking place. I am going to leave it up to you guys to pick who will be fighting for the first show. Don't worry we have plenty of events planned out but for this first show we are going to have Team UK pick their Heavyweight fighter and they will choose Team USA's heavyweight fighter. Then on the other side of the table Team USA will pick their own Lightweight guy to and get to choose which Team UK fighter they want to fight against. Next week after some training I want to hear the first shows 2 matchups got it? Fighters: Got it! Jacob: Alright, well boys have fun and take advantage of this opportunity, it only comes once in a lifetime! (The fighters take off scrambling upstairs to find their rooms) Location: JUF Training Facility – Los Angeles, CA January 27th, 1999 ::PICKING FIRST FIGHTS:: ![]() (The 16 fighters are all lined up as Jacob "Bombstriker" White comes walking into the JFC Training Facility in his business suit) Jacob: Alright guys what do you got for me? (Big 6'2 Jesse Singh from Team UK steps forward) Jesse: We have all agreed that I would be taking on Barry Strachan. Jacob: Whoa? Going after the guy with the most experience right off the bat huh? Not bad Jesse, I like it, takes some guts to go for that big of a fight on the first elimination. Good luck to both of you guys. (Barry steps out of line and walks over to Jesse and shakes his hand, then both guys do their face off for the pictures) Jacob: Alright and from Team USA? Who is going to represent their country? (Moss Gilbert steps out from the crowd) Moss: We really couldn't decide on their best fighter since we really don't see any true threats so we picked the funny guy Ron Chuckle. (The UK fighters looks surprised at the comment from Moss as the USA fighters throw out a few ooohhhhhs and awwwwsssss) Jacob: Not bad, I dig it guys good luck. (Ron steps out and approaches Moss who has his hand stretched out for a shake, as Ron goes to shake Moss's hand Moss quickly pulls it away a laughs like a little kid) Ron: We going to resort to little kid games mate? Moss: Relax man I'm just messin' with you..... mate..... (Moss breaks out into laughter after mimicking Ron's choice of a word. Ron loses his cool and shoves Moss back into group of teammates, quickly Team UK jumps forward pulling Ron back Moss looks on shocked at what just happened) Ron: Who's laughing now man huh? I guarantee everyone watching at home will be laughing come the 28th when I knock your ass to the mat in under a minute! Jacob: Whoa guys, it is only the first week what the hell has gotten into you all? Calm down and hit the showers we will settle this next month just bring your A game boys. (Moss mutters some words that can't be heard to his teammates as they let go of him) First Elimination Fights Announced: JFC 1: New Beginnings - February 28th, 1999 Heavyweight Fight: Team UK's Jesse "The Spartan" Singh Vs. Team USA's "The Big Bopper" Barry Strachan Lightweight Fight: Team USA's "The Cleveland Stormer" Moss Gilbert Vs. Team UK's "The Jester" Ron Chuckle Who will advance and who will go home? ![]() JFC 1: New Beginnings *Results* Staples Center – Los Angeles, CA Week 4 - February 28th, 1999 ::MAIN EVENT:: “The Talented” Sutton Ripley (13-2) Vs. Jordan “Fred” Flintstone (1-0) - Sutton Ripley knocked Jordan down within the first 30 seconds of the fight and pounced on him but Jordan fought him off somehow. Ripley made Jordan look silly all of the first round and the look on Jordan's face didn't look like he wanted to come out for round two. The bell rang to start the second round and Ripley came out firing on all cylinders! Ripley pinned Jordan up against the cage and just started raining down hammer fist after hammer fist to the head of Jordan Flintstone! The ref jumped in and stopped the contest giving Sutton a very dominating 2nd round TKO! Ripley got a lot of cheers and seemed to be a solid fan favorite of the night. Sutton Ripley defeated Jordan Flintstone via TKO in 0:50 of Round 2 (Great) ::UPPERCARD:: Hardy Tristian (0-0) Vs. Jon “Quick” Silvers (6-0) - Hardy didn't look impressive at all, Jon dominated the fight in all aspects of the fight. He took Hardy down several times and looked solid while on his feet. Hardy didn't look like he was ready to step up to the big leagues but maybe it was first fight jitters, regardless, Jon Silvers looked sharp in this decision victory. Jon Silvers defeated Hardy Tristian via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Good) JUF Lightweight Fight: “The Cleveland Stormer” Moss Gilbert (5-0) Vs. “The Jester” Ron Chuckle (2-1) - In what was fight of the night these two brought their bad blood from a few weeks before on the JUF show to the cage. Chuckle dominated round one of the fight dropping Gilbert early on and mounting him but he couldn't close the book on Gilbert. Round 2 was a complete 180 for Gilbert as he scored a huge left hook dropping Chuckle to the mat and instantly stopping the fight by way of knockout! After the fight Gilbert dropped down in Chuckle's face talking trash as Team UK member Tim Oldacres ran in to shove Gilbert away from his downed teammate. Moss Gilbert defeated Ron Chuckle via Knockout in 1:40 of Round 2 (Excellent) Bill “The Marine” Brown (1-0) Vs. “Torment” Genki Shinashi (6-1) - A fight the suffered after the slugfest that just took place. Some boo's came from the crowd but Bill Brown didn't care he was in the zone tonight. These two had a grapplefest seeing Brown score two huge slams on Shinashi, one of which landed him right on the back of his neck. Shinashi recovered and survived the fight though. Brown won each round and the easy decision, his wrestling skills looked very impressive tonight. Bill Brown defeated Genki Shinashi via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Average) JUF Heavyweight Fight: Jesse “The Spartan” Singh (13-4) Vs. “The Big Bopper” Barry Strachan (24-15) - Simply a great fight here. A lot of people didn't know what to expect from the two JUF fighters but they both brought their A game tonight. This was a knockdown, dragout, slugfest which lasted all 3 rounds, the crowd was cheering for both men when it was all said and done. One judge gave the fight to Strachan while the other two gave it to Singh to give Team UK the first victory in the JUF. Jesse Singh will return to the house while Barry Strachan as been eliminated from the JUF. Jesse Singh defeated Barry Strachan via Split Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Fantastic) ::UNDERCARD:: “Wicked” Wyatt Ashur (4-3) Vs. Rich “Hard Rain” Robinson (2-0) - A solid back and fourth matchup here, both guys fought their hearts out but late in round 3 Ashur was caught in Robinson's guard and Robinson honed in on the triangle choke and forced Ashur to tap with little time left on the clock in round 3. Rich Robinson defeated Wyatt Ashur via Submission in 3:50 of Round 3 (Good) “The Highlander” Cliff McAddam (31-21) Vs. “Wild Thing” Justin Brannagh (3-0) - Nothing special from either fighter in this matchup. McAddam gased very early in round 2 while Brannagh later gassed out at the end of round 2. McAddam tried many time to take Justin down but never could. Justin dominated the fight but round 3 they were both gassed so much that neither fighter could end the fight. Justin won the fight from each judge 30-25, an embarrassing night for McAddam. Justin Brannagh defeated Cliff McAddam via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Decent) Rory “Maradonna” McEnterry (1-0) Vs. Shinji Oiwa (6-6) - This contest proved to be a bad matchup for Rory in round one, it looked as if Oiwa was going to dominate the fight by almost knocking Rory out twice in round one. Round 2 also started out rough for Rory but he hit a miracle uppercut that caught Shinji flush and turned his lights completely out to win the fight with a big comeback from behind victory. Rory McEnterry defeated Shinji Oiwa via TKO in 3:42 of Round 2 (Decent) QUICK RESULTS Sutton Ripley defeated Jordan Flintstone via TKO in 0:50 of Round 2 (Great) Jon Silvers defeated Hardy Tristian via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Good) Moss Gilbert defeated Ron Chuckle via Knockout in 1:40 of Round 2 (Excellent) Bill Brown defeated Genki Shinashi via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Average) Jesse Singh defeated Barry Strachan via Split Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Fantastic) Rich Robinson defeated Wyatt Ashur via Submission in 3:50 of Round 3 (Good) Justin Brannagh defeated Cliff McAddam via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3 (Decent) Rory McEnterry defeated Shinji Oiwa via TKO in 3:42 of Round 2 (Decent) Junkie Ultimate Fighter Update: ![]() |

![]() Location: JUF House – Los Angeles, CA March 5th, 1999 ::1ST HEAVYWEIGHT CHALLENGE:: ![]() (The scene takes place outside the JUF House in the huge front lawn. There is a huge ring painted in the yard and standing in the center of it is JFC Owner, Jacob White. The 7 remaining JUF Heavyweights are standing outside the ring) Jacob: Hey guys, this is going to be the first challenge of the house. This is only a heavyweight challenge so all of the lightweights hit the gym today to train. Today you guys will choose your fate and we will see which team will be able to have the advantage and get to pick your opponent for March 21st show. I already talked to Team UK and they have choose for Terry Bull to sit this challenge out so the teams are even. (Terry nods to Jacob and slaps his teammate Jesse on the shoulder) Jacob: The rules are simple fellas, this will test your wrestling skills and ground game. The 6 of you will square off against each other 3 against 3 and you will be trying to throw or toss your opponents out of the ring. If any part of you touches the outside of the ring you are eliminated in the challenge. Good luck guys and have at it! (Jacob moves out of the ring as the 6 men square off. For Team USA it is Vincent Chapin, Taye Burnett, and Wilson Franklyn. For Team UK it is Jesse Singh, Kevin Portman, and Brian Barnes. The whistle is blown and all 6 men take of scrambling) - The first elimination takes place when Brain Barnes shoves Vincent Chapin out of the ring with his feet. - Brain then helps Jesse double team Taye Burnett and they eliminate him. - As Taye is getting shoved out of the ring he pulls Jesse Singh with him. (Team USA Left: Wilson Franklyn -- Team UK Left: Kevin Portman & Brian Barnes) - Wilson Franklyn actually gets to his feet and tries to get away from the two UK fighters double teaming him but Kevin Portman wraps his arms around Wilson and completely suplex's him out of the ring eliminating both of them! (Winner: Brian Barnes & Team United Kingdom) (After the competition Wilson gets up in Kevin's face clearly unhappy with the force he was slammed on the ground) Wilson: Who you think you are pretty boy!?! You think you cause you got all dem muscles you gonna be acting all big and bad? How bout you slam me right now boy! (Kevin raises up to the taller Wilson Franklyn) Wilson: You betta get yo boys to come in here and pull you away before you don't even get to make your little decision on who is fighting!!! How bout you man up and fight me boy? Kevin: Maybe I will, and maybe next time I will slam you right on your head and make sure you won't be getting up running your mouth! (Wilson goes to swing at Kevin but Vincent quickly jumps on him and Taye has to help pull him back from Kevin) Kevin: You're lucky because your team just saved your life! You and I are going to throw down, your size don't mean **** to me! I will put you down big guy! (The scene ends as Team USA constrains Wilson Franklyn from going to blows with Kevin Portman) Location: JUF House – Los Angeles, CA March 5th, 1999 ::NEXT FIGHTS ARE PICKED:: ![]() (All of the JUF fighters are gathered in the house living room where they are going to announce the fights. The whole time Wilson Franklyn has a pissed look on his face and doesn't look happy to be in the same room as Kevin Portman) Jacob: Alright Team UK, what is the next elimination fight? (Kevin Portman lets out a sigh as he stands up from the couch, the camera instantly switches to Wilson who starts shaking his head and he is looking out the window) Kevin: Team UK and I have decided and we have agreed that I will be fighting in the upcoming fight. Unfortunately for some people in this room it will not be the fight that they wanted. I will be taking on Vincent Chapin. (Wilson instantly jumps out shouting) Wilson: See I knew you were scared bitch! That's why you are picking a fight with an old man and not the biggest beast in the damn house!!! (Vincent doesn't look happy about Wilson's comments) Kevin: Sorry man, we decided we are going for the strongest competitors first and you certainly aren't that.... Wilson: Mother****** I will show you strong! (Wilson dives onto Kevin and both men are going to blows! All of the JUF fighters pull both men apart. Tim Oldacres from Team UK steps up and speaks) Tim: Hey, listen guys.... you need to get control of your team! First we have a piss poor sign of respect for Ron last week when Moss taunted him after he knocked him out! Now we have your mate here starting a fight over what? Nothing! Just calm down! Moss: Hey don't bring me into this dude, I can't help it that Ron was a can that couldn't cut it in the cage! And to be honest it sounds like you want to start some **** yourself! Personally I don't like your tone! Tim: I'm just trying to tell you guys to get your stuff together because we are here to fight in the cage not in the den! (Jacob jumps into the arguement) Jacob: Alright guys listen up! If you can't wait to fight in the cage at least do this in the gym! Now look, I am scheduling the Lightweight fight for this show for you guys. I am going to throw two guys that have had cool heads about this the whole time. Dominic Ash from Team USA, you will be taking on Team UK's member, Grant Capelli. Grant: Oh great... (Grant doesn't look happy about his matchup at all as Team USA leaves the room) Next Elimination Fights Announced: JFC 2: Temperature Rising - March 21st, 1999 Heavyweight Fight: Team UK's “Granite” Kevin Portman Vs. Team USA's “The American Male” Vincent Chapin Lightweight Fight: Team USA's Dominic “The Smash” Ash Vs. Team UK's Grant “The Long Shot” Capelli Who will advance and who will go home? |

Yeah, I've just always been accustomed to putting the Mainevent at the top and working my way down the card. Sorry if it causes any confusion....
