How do you guys make renders?

I just purchased WMMA2 and was looking through the forums and saw the render thread. How do you guys create those? I was interested in making a few for some custom characters.

Daz3d or Poser.

I know one of them is free and the other costs money, either way, you're gonna pay money to make good ones (and it'll take a bit of time to familiarize yourself with the program.

I too am trying to get into it, my recommendation, save up about $50-$100 to play with and then jump in head first.

Daz3D is the free program, and it's perfectly capable of this kind of work. I don't know what Poser offers to be worth the money, but I ain't interested.

What costs money is all the bits and pieces, models, morphs, skins, outfits, hair. It can be an expensive hobby. Addictive too.

I suggest you download Daz 3D and the free Michael 4 base and the Michael 4 morphs ($ 30).

That should keep you busy for a couple of days. Rendering is quite easy when you et into it.

I've been messing around with what came with Daz and all I've managed to do so far is made it look like the female model had a broken ankle.

Any recommendations on the clothing?

Hi guys, this is the first time I have posted on these boards although I read them on a regular basis as play TEW and WMMA alot in my spare time and wanted to help out with renders. However ever I'm having major issues with Daz3d I downloaded it and the michael and some other freebies to try and have a play with but have been unable to swith from the Victoria 4.2 that is loaded. I've download some guides but nothing I do seems to work. I downloaded michael click to load it, install to daz/contents but can't access it. Any help will be fantastic. Also wanted to say what a great game this is. Many Thanks guys.

Click View -> Tabs -> Content.

Then you can find him in the left side on the screen.

For me he is under Unassigned -> Figures -> Daz People. I think that's the default destination.

Any suggestions for clothing? For example where would I find mma gloves? I've been searching through the available content for purchase and I have not been able to find anything close.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
