Question about adding scenerio mods...

When adding a data file like DOTT. Sholud I place the DOTT files in the "default data" folder or should I create a new database and put them in that folder?

on the opening screen the second to last button on the top after delete game is database options. that will create a new database for you, then simply drag and drop the DOTT files. that database will automatically be selected as your main one, which you can change in the same database screen. You should never overwrite the original files.

Of course as with the rest of my life...

I have ALREADY done it wrong!

I did replace the default files.

Is it possible to start another database as you mentioned and then copy the "original" default data files into that? If so, where do I get those original files?

If so, is it possible to do it w/o having to re download the whole game?
