When to resign exclusive fighters

If I have a exclusive fighter with 24 days and 3 matches left on his contract....when can I approach him to resign?=

Any fighter in the last 28 days OR last match on their contract goes on the market and should be available to sign. If you can't re-sign him just now, then it's probably because he has a fight scheduled already and will be awaiting the result of that before he's willing to accept negotiations.
