Default International Expansion

How exactly does one expand into other areas? Right now as GAMMA I'm pretty much the duck's nuts in the US, but no PPV network in other country (no matter how small) will even consider a deal with us. The roster isn't big enough to be able to run a PPV schedule and to have a TV show, so I don't see how I can gain a following outside of the US?

Can I hold shows in other countries?

Cheers.

If im right when you are a
-regional promotion you can only hold shows in home area. E.G one state
-National promotions can go any where within your country/area
-International, you can go wherever you like.

When i hit international with GAMMA i got ppv deals in most places...Australia Channel 100 accepted me, Euronet accepted me, i think J-Remote accepted me (but i might have started off with Jade 237), Vista accepted me...just get to international then start negotiating with PPV carriers.

And you dont need to hold regular ppv's or tv shows...just hold ppv's whenever you can put on a good card and merchandise should get you through months when you dont hold a show.

Find people popular in countries you want to expand. That will help you draw crowds to other places, e.g when i started going to Japan i launched a raid on Alpha-1 so i knew i could draw a good crowd, for Britain i signed Stafford Alois and other former BCF fighters(they shut down on my game). You just have to be clever about balancing finances while putting on good shows. And nothing says you have to go hold shows internationally, it might be a good idea to build stars in the U.S first.

Good Luck

Does this mean signing fighters popular in countries will help you gain popularity in their home country? I am having the same problem as the OP. Unless the game is programed so that the company automatically expands to International popularity after awhile of running shows in your country, I don't see how you would gain popularity to have a TV show or PPV deal. In the last version what I would do was run shows in the countries I wasn't popular in, then have a TV show there eventually, but that isn't an option in this version.

I am unsure whether it helps but i didnt have popular stars abroad...so i couldnt really put them in main events. So i kind needed International stars.

Okay but how did you get to the point to where you were able to hold shows/PPV in other countries?

By gaining 100% National Popularity, which puts you up to 10% International.
