I routinely see AI run promotions run a TV show (i.e. Ultimate Fight Night) on a Friday or Saturday and then a PPV Event (i.e. UFC 103) a night or two later. Is ther anyway it can be built into the AI booking to allow at least two weeks in between shows?
Also, there is also a large amount of randomness to which days these shows take place. In real life, most shows take place on certain day every time. UFC PPV (Saturday), Ultimate Fight Night (Wednesday), WEC on Versus (Sunday), etc. Could there be an option in the company or TV show setup where you could specifiy a day for PPV and TV shows to take place for that particular promotion? |

There's no need to make it mandatory for there to be any time between shows. If you take a look at the UFC, for example, there have been plenty of instances where there's an Ultimate Fight Night, and then a PPV within a a few days or a week.
For example... Ultimate Fight Night 19 happens September 16. UFC 103 is September 19. |

To be fair I think in real life this is a perfectly legitimate promotional tactic. Give away the free tv show to whet peoples appetites and generate publicity as a way of marketing the PPV
