Checked it out at least to give it a try. Had a problem with there being a minimum of 2 and 3 rp's which is I'm not a fan of. Also not a fan of there being a max of 300 lines, who even uses lines to count since 10 years ago? I thought once we got past 12 we counted words since we realized not all lines are equal. Good luck though, hopefully you have a bunch of other efed friends asides from GDS that will join right away as 999/1000 efeds unfortunately fail quickly no matter how much work you put in.

As Mr Eff stated, his numbers are not set in stone, and they are there to avoid burnout.

But

It's not for everyone.

It has been literally DECADES since I've done this. I spent a fair bit of time on RSPWF in my college days.

Haven't applied yet only because I'm still thinking through whether I have the time to do good writeups over the long term.

EDIT: And get off my lawn, too!

Different strokes for different folks. I think you misunderstand the purpose of those rules. As I stated in this thread and the rules, these are in place to not be a burden on anyone in the fed, top down. By not forcing people to have to do to much it ensure they can still have fun, no matter what they have going on in real life.

As for the lines, the group I was brought up in has always used lines. Just a rough guidelines. It doesn't matter if all lines are equal because the quality, not the quantity (ie lines/characters), is what judges the winners.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said, I've run feds before and know what to expect.

It depends on how much time you want to put in really. For the most part all you have to do is roleplay for your matches, send in strategies for your matches, and do any segments/angles you want for a show. That isn't all in a week, mind you.

Thought it said 300 words, not 300 lines. Ha. I'm dumb.

I'd love to have you, obviously.

If you sign up and down the line can't keep it up, I certainly won't hold it against you for leaving. I've left my fair share of feds because I just couldn't go anymore. It happens.

I sign my name at the end of this post and claim it as my opinion.
