Default Who did you start your first game with?

As the title states, who was the first hero you used when you started your very first game?

What was the reason you chose him/her/it?
Are you happy with the choice you made?

I am in the middle of picking my first hero and there are so many really good ones. Decisions decisions.

City Sweeper, who appears to be the default database's equivalent of The Punisher, wasn't too bad to use... that said, don't expect anyone (even the other "good guys") to ever like you. He appears to be a complete dick, and is a bit on the bloodthirsty side. Figured if I stick with him with the full release I'll only have him actively trying to kill the guys who really have it coming... maybe not so much some generic thief type.

Also gave General Germany and Mr. Infinity a whirl. Mr Infinity is possibly the best hero in the game, and seems like a cool character to boot. General Germany... well, cool look and fun name (Germany needs its own hero, darnit!), but... definetly seems like he's hard mode. He's the lowest leveled hero in his starting area, and his powers seem to basically be that he can fly around and punch people.

Also want to give Sgt. Steel a shot, he seems like an awesome one... and maybe American Defender.

Cheeky Monkey, proceeded to job my way into nobodiness.

:/ I love the city-level characters but the demo is so harsh on then. I managed to job even to the lowest tiered villains haha.

Let's...Not turn this into a demo limitation whinning thread, I apologize.

Anyway Cheeky Monkey! For some reason he looks like a comedy hero in the making, if I ever find the time I would love to write a diary about his ascension to the super hero ranks when the game drops.

Cosmic Girl. First person I clicked when I clicked away from Captain Awesome.

Improbable Man. I spent my time losing fights, joining Mr. Infinity's superhero team (and then being the only hero KO'd in their fights), and attempting to start romantic relationships with women who were already in relationships.

I used the background function, chose the 'Touch a mystical artifact' option and created The Masked Archeologist (pic user01), a superpowered Indiana Jones type who has super strength, super toughness & can fly (got those automatically). I also bought Time Travel (turns out there was no-where to go ). The proceeded to get smashed over and over lol. In every game area, again and again. Up to volume 27 now, would like the full game now please

Dupin.

Was one of my favorite renders for the game and thought it might be interesting to start with a non superhero.

I love Xtinction. Wish you could play as wild cards. I just used a pre set backstory.

If you're dead set, just go into the editor and change his alignment (probably to Anti-Hero given he has "No Problem" as his likelihood to kill).

In fact, I just did that while I was typing this post. Making a Wildcard or Villains a full fledged Hero or Anti-Hero takes about 10 seconds of work tops.

Apocrypha.

I chose him/her/it because they have the best stats in the game and I want to truly see how the game is.

I am very happy with the decision I made now off to play the game.

Started a game as Robyn Hood, too many great and funny characters to choose from next time I start a new game though.

I started the game with Lady America.

I thought she had that cool Paragon type heroine thing going for her, as well as looking totally awesome.

Created my own character. Wanted to go with 'Tom Goodman' , but eventually succumbed to the ultra-obvious: Max Von Power, aka MVP.

Made him irresistable to women, but gullible. Classic.

Yeah, but he is a "Total Loose Cannon". It's not the same for me changing him in the editor for some reason. I hope Adam releases a Villian add on.
