Mod question about relationships

Ok just trying to check to see if what I think about the game is correct.

When you make a relationship for hero A and hero B it shows up on both right? Or do you need to make it in reverse as well?

Correct, because you can't make it in reverse as well ("there is already a relationship between these two people" will pop up).
