You're a tease sir, a damn tease.

I'm looking forward to it - didn't like the previous version very much, but most of the things I thought ruined it seem to have been addressed, especially the submission system. Very much looking to the Pride commentary especially

I'm just excited to get my hands on it at this point. In the first UFC game, I had a career mode character at every weight class. I hope the career mode is good again because 2010's career mode was junk.

Indeed. Luckily, the stat detriment system has been adressed (at least I thought so).

The Ultimate Fights are all DLC apart from the 'Best of Pride' ones, so I've not been able to play them yet, as the DLC doesn't become active till next week.

Two of the packs are free, the others you have to pay for. You can see the list here

I'll list the Best of Pride ones tomorrow, as my Xbox is having a well earned rest now

How are leg kicks in this game Brad? I know they've added checking and potential leg breaks, but are they actually much use as an attacking weapon now? They seemed to be severely underpowered in the previous game which was disappointing. Can you recreate an Aldo \ Faber style leg massacre?

In the demo it looked like on the higher level leg kicks were still kind of a waste. Especially when they're more risky than they were in the last game.

They're even more risky? Hmm, that's quite a turnoff for leg kick lovers. But I don't use it anyway. I'm a classic G&P player for career mode.

Anyhow, the game looks to be going the direction of EA style development, meaning you take a single concept and keep improving it. Now there's nothing wrong with this approach as it definately results in some great games (like TEW/WMMA). Sometimes, however, it just seems to get worse every year (*cough* WWE). I hope they did a good job on this one.

I say leg kicks are more risky in Undisputed 3 based SOLELY on the demo so form your own opinions.

It's a little bit harder to just sling had leg kicks (towards + kick) at the opponent, because they can cancel them with a quick jab/straight. But if you do a combo like left hook, right straight, strong leg kick, you can land them at will, as the % chance of a second/third hit landing increased as part of a combo. If you feint a punch or high-kick then throw a leg kick that works well too.

As well as slowing your opponent down and making him more susceptible to leg locks and leg kick TKO's, it reduces the power of his shoot takedowns significantly. So yeah, you can pretty much abuse a guy's legs and leave him swaying in the breeze
