Default Dojos vs Developmental

In your opinion, what will be better in TEW2010, Dojos or Developmental Promotions?

At this point, dojos. But if Devs being playable is one of the new features, devs.

Depends on the size of the promotion, if your a small sized promotion where worker popularity is less important then you're going to want a dojo so you'll have a steady stream of tailor made talent that you can use to replace those you lose to predatory hiring, if your a National or better company, you'd be better suited with a developmental where you can herd popular indy talent to for polishing instead.

They both do totally different things.

Dojos periodically usher in new talent with sometimes slightly improved basic stats often tailored to a certain style (depending on the dojo).

Developmental promotions develop existing workers stats in some areas and gain the worker a bit of exposure and popularity.

Neither is 'better', if you're a large company like the SWF, a worker coming from a dojo will probably sitll need to go through a development fed before he's 'SWF-ready'. And if you're not a large fed, you won't have a development company, so it won't matter.

I'm so excited to base my small promotion around unheard of and semi-talented young workers who graduate from a dojo. Turning a profit is the goal.

Exactly. Dojos and dev feds can work hand in glove to produce and then train talent for the larger feds.

I agree, they're completely different. A company like SWF will have both, all of their Training School graduates will go to developments, which will then help the talent in getting used to live crowds, working the mic, and working on individual skills that the home promotion would like to see them improve upon.

I wonder if there will be graduating classes or just one graduate at a time?

Depends on how many workers you set up to debut from that dojo. You can set up your own classes if you want or let the game randomly generate.

Also, this thread makes no sense, it's like asking which is better, the sky or water? Two completely different things

Closed, the question doesn't make any sense.
