Interesting reading about teaming up Leigh Burton and Ricky Storm, I've had great success teaming Storm with Sifu myself.

August 1998 in my own promotion going head to head with WCW and WWF.
CHAMPIONS NWA Heavyweight Champion - Ric Flair Flair retained his title in a four way last month against his stablemates Jeff Jarrett, Curt Hennig and Sean Morley. He is my second NWA Champ after HHH who he defeated in my highest rated match so far. TCW North American Champion - Raven Defeated Ahmed Johnson in a Bullrope match. 3rd holder of the belt, the original being William Regal. Raven is currently feuding with the "Conscience" of TCW: Brian Adams (An Undertaker ripoff which is working rather nicely). NWA Tag Team Champions - Chris Jericho & Lance Storm Defeated previous champs Hennig & Morley in a four way match which also featured The Dudley Boys and William Regal & Fit Finlay. TCW Cruiserweight Champion - Christopher Daniels This was Jerry Lynn's title until Daniels cheated to score the upset. He has seen off all challengers so far. TCW Television Champion - Osamu Nishimura Nishimura has been a dominating champ, seeing off all challenges in the most defended belt in the promotion. TCW Women's Champion - Chyna Unbeaten and with the entire division in her shadow. Chyna was the first big name to jump to TCW. TCW Triumverate Tournament Champions - Ric Flair/Curt Hennig/Sean Morley STABLES X-Factor - HHH, Chyna, Sean Waltman, Justin Credible, A-Train Raven's Flock - Raven, Luna, The Hardy Boys "Flair's Stable" (need a good name) - Flair, Hennig, Jarrett, Morley, Arn Anderson, C.W. Anderson Psycho Circus - Charly Manson, Chessman, Espiritu, Halloween, Ozz Storylines include: Jerry Lynn's taking on of the Patriot mask. Tension building between Jarret and Flair. HHH returning the job to Warrior Warrior. Mike Tyson's installation as General Manager. Arn Anderson mentoring C.W. Anderson. Next up is Thunderdome where Flair's next challenger will be decided in a ten man cell match. |

December 2000
(Using the FutureLegend 2000 mod) -I may have added too much detail, but I think it's pretty exciting- WCW World Heavyweight: Chris Jericho WCW United States Champion: Berlyn WCW Tag Team Champions: TNT (Scott Steiner/DDP) *Cruiserweight has been retired* Stables: Forever Young: Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Diamond Dallas Paige Misfits in Action: Booker T, Chris Kanyon Special Enforcement Agency: Jeff Jarrett, Bryan Clark, Brian Adams, Eric Bischoff, Don Harris, Ron Harris Starrcade Major Matches: Chris Jericho (c) vs Kurt Angle Backstory: Jericho came in during the 3rd month of the mod, aligned with Hogan who was fueding with Nash/Hall/Steiner/DDP. Jericho helps him for a few PPV's until he becomes the #2 superstar in the company. Jericho won the title, and Hogan and him were celebrating when Nash/Hall attacked. Kurt Angle appeared and saved Hogan/Jericho and kept doing so until New Blood Rising where he turned on Hogan/Jericho to join Forever Young. Forever Young then went after Hogan while Jericho went after Sting (in Sting's retirement match-he'll be back in 5 months he's taking a break) After Hogan was knocked out by Nash/Hall (Hogan was "injured" but really I gave him time off) Forever Young is now going after Jericho who may have a surprise of his own at Starrcade. Berlyn (c) vs Eddie Guerrero Backstory: Berlyn won the championship the very first show and has held it for an impressive 7 months. However, the newcomer Eddie has been eyeing the title for some time and after a path that had him face Goldberg, KroniK and 3 count, he withstood them all and finally is getting his chance against Berlyn at Starrcade. TNT (c) vs The Front Line Backstory: Booker had been looking for a tag partner until he finally picked Kanyon (after Kanyon defeated Jarrett in first blood contest to win Booker's open invitation) Booker and Kanyon then went on to lead "Misfits in Action" however suffered through some troubles after DDP/Steiner pretended to recruit MI and Major into Forever Young. Forever Young then stabbed MI Smooth, Major Stash in the backs who then attempted to rejoin Misfits in Action, but Booker/Kanyon didn't want them anymore. Booker/Kanyon however were furious at Steiner/DDP and now will get their revenge at Starrcade. Steel Cage Match: Goldberg vs Jeff Jarrett Backstory: Originally Jarrett was World Champion, but after losing his championship to Goldberg on the very first Nitro he went crazy with rage and began attacking Goldberg every show until finally Goldberg lost against Jericho (who ended up taking his gold) During that match Jarrett ran in with his new friends (Kronik and the Harris Brothers) who punished Goldberg and left him bleeding without the belt. It was announced the Nitro after that Bischoff had formed the task force to take out Goldberg. Goldberg disappeared for a few weeks only to screw Jarrett out of a #1 contender's match. Jarrett, obviously furious, challenged Goldberg for a match at Starrcade. After weeks of fighting and the Special Enforcement Agency interfering Flair made a surprise return and stated that the match would now be held in a Steel Cage. Street Fight: Eric Bischoff vs Ric Flair Backstory: Obviously building off the Steel Cage match Flair announced for Goldberg/Jarrett it was then announced by Flair that it would be himself vs Bischoff in a street fight for the Authority Figure job at Starrcade! I Quit Match: Kevin Nash vs Scott Hall Backstory: Hall/Nash/DDP and Steiner all started Forever Young, but after Scott Hall failed to beat Jericho, (after losing 3 ppv's in a row) on Nitro, Nash grew tired of Hall. During a match between Hall and Mike Awesome, Nash came out of the stands and attacked Hall much to the surprise of the live audience ending Hall's stay in Forever Young. After weeks of beatings Scott Hall lay in the hospital and challenged Kevin Nash to a match at Starrcade in an I Quit match. Much to the chagrin of Forever Young Nash accepted the challenge. Two weeks before Starrcade Hall returned and reeked havok on Nash, attacking him at will, and has continued to do so leading up to Starrcade. Also happening: WWF has been in a tailspin and has lost a ton of money. After losing in the ratings they have released some wrestlers and have their developmental companies have been let go. They are on life support and have been offered a buy out by WCW. ECW have also been struggling, but have no accepted a buy out yet. Despite the fact that they barely produce enough to stay afloat they remain proud and have not yet admitted that they may be closing soon. I paired Leigh Burton and Wade Orson as 'The Future.' They can put on some pretty good matches as long as their opponents have the psychology to carry them through it. Wade Orson capped out on stats for me, which is disappointing... his performance skills aren't up to par, but his top row stats are pretty decent and he's great to pair with people who need to improve those.

I had Larry Wood acting as sort of liaison between Rip and the workers, and when Rip retired, the board of directors named Wood GM. Wood's been your typical heel GM, utilizing his menace to strong arm his way around, and decided that he wanted the champion in his pocket. American Patriot, my champ at the time, wasn't having any of that, so Wood spent the next few months throwing heel after heel at Patriot, but kept on losing.
Wood finally went to my Traditional champ, Kid Leone, a masked heel I had who was going on a tear through the roster. Leone vacated the Traditional title as was customary when jumping to a new division, and drew with Patriot twice before finally beating him in my best match yet. The next week at my TV taping, Leone unmasked, revealing himself to be Jay Chord, and telling Wood that he was making it his mission to get back his father's company, and he wouldn't let anyone stand in his way. Chord's spent the past few months no battling a faction of heels that Wood's given favor to. This all came as a result of Chess Maniac, not Jay, becoming owner of MAW due to Jay being in SWF at the time. Of course, Jay was released weeks later so I could snatch him up again. I know, it's odd that I'm not using Maniac in the owner role, but while he's talented, I don't think he can help carry this feud. Wood was already set up in a position to take control and his menace helps me get some great angles in. |

They've only been together for a month and I'm already looking forward to turning Scythe on T-Rex leading to a mini-feud between them. T-Rex will end his career as a babyface.

And your new SWF Heavyweight Champion of the world...
![]() It's no wonder SWF just dropped to cult again, though Scott has improved a ton. |

Hahahahahaha. I didn't even know Big Smack Scott had that alter-ego because I've never played a promotion with him on the roster and have never seen the AI use that. That's too funny.

He started using it when he went to USPW. Apparently whoever was booking SWF at the time thought it was such a great idea they just kept the gimmick. They must have been right, because he's the champ now.

![]() The main event was supposed to end up as Hell Monkey vs Chord to unify the Universal title (which Larry Wood had created as his own main title) and the heavyweight title Jay held, but WLW signed him to a written two and half weeks before the show. Overall, though, I'm happy with the show. It's my third best (the other two also graded 77s) and it capped off the storyline well. Now I gotta turn Jay at my next show to prepare for the return of El Mitico, who's coming off of a 14 month neck injury. |

Yep. The best match I ever had and it was just a semifinal. I guess that's what I get for having Glenn as a face. Oh well, I plan on him taking the title now that Chord's turned heel.
