Lightbulb Cuts Resource Thread v2.0

NO LONGER TAKING REQUESTS
In this thread, at least. If you want one of my cuts on a different background, I'm all for doing that as I still have all the raw png files. But, from here on out this thread will be more of a resource for cutters to post their work / collections. Thank you!

I love doing them. Do you think the light grunge works well? I did the Guerrilla Island one different, just cause I was too lazy to try to cut all the small letters, so, I just created the yellowy one.

Also, if there are any specific ones you may want, let me know, and I'll put a rush order on those. Since, well, now i'm just kinda going with whatever I end up doing. No real pattern.

I like the darker grunge background better, how about the new wwe logos no rush though.

I had intentions of doing the PPV logos once Stu had released his screen mod. As for yours, they look good. One thing I would suggest, is adding a drop shadow. Especially with the lighter background, it makes the logos look less flat. KUTGW.

As decent a cutter as I am, that's one thing I have no clue how to do. I saw someone mention it somewhere else about something. But, no luck figuring that out yet.

Gimp. I mean, I know where it is.. but, I've never gotten it to look decent. Tends to just make it look darker in an odd way.

Ah, Gimp is the only one I haven't used. Have you tried Paint.net? It is just as good, some would argue better. They have a great drop shadow plugin.

I'll have to give it a look through when I have some more time, and my vision returns. Hah. Paint, the program itself, is far too user, or, Donald-unfriendly for my tastes.

I really don't wanna redo any of my work... but, I was smart enough to start saving my blank cuts sometime ago... so, I don't have to recut any, some resizing, yes.

I use gimp, its a fairly simple process.

-Open up the background.
-Layer-> New layer
-paste logo
-anchor said logo
-Filters -> Light and Shadow -> Drop Shadow
-The settings I use for my logos are [Offset X: -4] [Offset Y: 2] [Blur Rad: 8] [Opac: 100]
-Click the box to NOT allow resizing
-Click OK and presto, you've got yourself a drop shadowed logo.

Once the final game comes out and I download a current date RW mod or even a 2001 mod, I'm thinking of creating some old Pay Per Views from WCW and was wondering if a couple of these logos could be cut and/or alter. Thanks if they can be done. I can cut on kyky, but when it comes to logos.. mine looks horrible.

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...BattleBowl.jpg - I was wondering could just get the Battle Bowl the Lethal Lottery cut.

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...t/WarGames.jpg - Get the War Games cut.

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...BattleBowl.jpg - Get the cut regular and possible without the WCW logo.

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...WFallBrawl.jpg - Is it possible to remove the WCW logo and still look decent?

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2.../WorldWar3.jpg - Again is it possible to remove the WCW logo and still look good?

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...restleWars.jpg - Just another Wrestle Wars logo.
