I've heard an interview segment should be five minutes long to increase their entertainment skills is that true? If not how shorter can it be to still increase? Any other tips anyone could give me to help workers increase their popularity? I've been using the dominate note in matches and that helps increase pop but is there angles that could do something similar?

thank you
my questions got lost for a bit there

Camera Skills is a category, rather than a distinct skill. It's made up of Sex Appeal, Star Quality and Menace.

Sex Appeal and Menace are primarily used in angles and for gimmick ratings. Star Quality is used extensively throughout the game, it's a measure of the workers 'x-factor', and helps them gain popularity in entertainment promotions, among other things.

Another point worth noting: rather than the weighted average that the other categories use on the main roster screen, Camera Skills just takes the highest score. This is because it's very, very rare for a worker to have both high sex appeal and high menace at the same time; one tends to imply the lack of the other, and males rarely have high sex appeal anyway. Thus a weighted average would be silly, so the highest value is used. This is also true if the highest value is Star Quality (as it very often is with non-menacing male workers).

If a match, any match whether they're comedy or not runs around 7-9 minutes it's ok.

I believe star quality affects popularity gains in any type of promotion, but in-match bonuses tend to be exclusive to popularity promotions.

Does putting someone on colour commentary for one or two matches help with their charisma improvement?

Mic skills and Charisma seem to improve when placing someone on commentary. My announcer improved in these ares but took 12 shows before each skill improved by one point.

I put my user character permanently in one of the seats (except for his own matches) and he jumped from 65 to 100 charisma in like 2 years.

Announcers/Commentators also gain popularity...in my diary game Joey Styles has shot up like two full letter grades in six months (game time) of calling RAW and PPV's
