Your Popularity is used with Importance to get the number for example
if you have 90 popularity in tristate it will show as 90 because the importance is 100% a 90 popluarity in the great lakes region would be
90 x .85 = 76.5 because it has an 85 importance.

Thanks a TON for clearing that up for me!

I have a small question.

Since I'm not familiar with running a promotion as booker only (been years since I've done it), do owners automatically renew their contracts or do you have to do it manually?

It's automatic.

I'm sure this has come up before, but I wasn't finding it with my search. Is there any way via the editor to just assign an owner to a promotion in-game. I've had AOW open in my organic mod game and sit vacant for about 2 years, even though there should be viable owners ready to take it over.

Editor > Promotions > Power Structure - Here you can set up owner, head booker, potential founders (max 3) and if founders are preferred or mandatory. You can only do this before you start a game, not during a running game though.

Actually they never lapse at all. They stay permanently at a year to expiry.

You know, I just noticed that. Victoria Stone's contract stays at 12 months to expire.

Thanks!

That's what I was worried about . Anyway to encourage someone to take over these promotions other than boosting business reputations in the editor?

I think boosting business reputation is really the only way. Might help to make sure their preferred style fits the promotion's product, too. And make certain they are set to be active in that region.

I've gotten to the screen before but now I don't know how (besides the editor), is there a way to see how much money each promotion has so you know when a buyout is more likely? I was pretty certain I got to a screen that showed it once..

Okay.. I had this figured out last night and now I don't. I'll use 1 area for example:

Control Room > Size =

(Name = Importance/Popularity)

The Marritimes= 48/69
The Prairies = 52/66
British Colombia = 57/59

Obviously, I'm looking at the Prairies region to boost to 53 and I'm 66 popularity.

I'm just lost. I tracked my progress and I've only moved up 1 popularity point in The Prairies (despite putting on an 83 rated PPV, then a 78 show and 71 show in that area).

Nevermind that question. I figured it out. 2 different #'s for importance. Got it.

Okay, for the life of me I can't find this other screen that shows the last time you visited a region

I decided to run DIW again, love the promotion and the Ausie wrestling scene. My question is: How do you end being at WAR with another promotion?

DIW is at war with RAW and APW. This killed my last game where both stole all my talent and and crushed me. I need to drop the WAR, for the moment at least.

I've only been declared war on when I ended a working agreement with a company (talent exchange or child promotion). Just delete the wars before starting up. Either way, they may still try to steal your talent..
