Well my first attempt to write a diary wasnīt particularity successful thanks to me not being able to resist buying TEW2010 (and being too lazy to convert that save to this game) but hopefully I can get this one going further.
I choose Grand Avatar as my avatar mainly because I donīt like the idea of user character being a wrestler. All avatar stats are on 5. I also decided that I can initially hire only guys who are currently unemployed mainly because Iīm too lazy to actually look hundreds of wrestlers stats but also to avoid schedule clashes since I never remember to look when other companies are having they. I decided to use same company (ESE a 0/0/0/0 promotion that I included in database before I started the game) on a same location (Scandinavia) that I used on my earlier attempt because I enjoy working with limited pool of workers. I choice Eternal Studios Entertainment as my company mainly because it had logo, banner (both made by Kamchatka) and two belts (made by ReapeR) created and because company name didnīt give any indication where the company is located. ![]() Key Feature: Mainstream Heavy: Traditional Medium: Modern Low: Hardcore, Comedy Face/heel: medium, no women wrestling Definition: Wrestlers are rated equally on performance and popularity. All wrestlers need to have gimmicks Gimmicks cannot be subtle or highly risky and need to be simple. Fans wonīt like highly risky matches or angles. Is quite favorable for sponsors and wonīt be rocked by wrestling industry changes. |

NEWS:
There have been rumors for some time now that new wrestling company is going to start to run shows in Scandinavia. Today we got a confirmation that there is indeed going to be new Scandinavian based company named Eternal Studios Entertainment (ESE). This companyīs wrestling product is said to be a mix of Mainstream and Traditional wrestling. Right now there is no knowledge of owner of this company and they havenīt hired any actual wrestlers yet but they are said to aim run their first show in March. Sources say that this new company looks to hire workers from UK/European independence scene in order to avoid any clashes with more established companies. We will tell you more once they have set their roster and confirmed their first shows card. |

Roster:
Well there isnīt much guys who are based in Scandinavia meaning that I have to pay some Travel expenses in order to get some guys to wrestle in my shows. I know that I could just offer them more money but most guys want over 100$ more and I have no idea how much those travel expenses will cost so I rather pay that than give them 150$ or more extra. In 2008 I also had to pay travel expenses when I gave wrestlers their first contract but they seemed to drop that demand when it was time to re-negotiate so I hope that the same happens here. That said some guys from my initial roster are there only because they doesnīt ask me to pay any extra expenses. Hereīs who I hired and some random thoughts about them. MAIN EVENTERS: Gianfranco Morelli age: 27 Heel, Gambler Decent guy who would probably be used best as a midcarder. He has decent popularity (F+) and most of his skills are in C or D range. However he is quite cheap (350$ per show) and one of the few guys who donīt need travel expenses and that’s the main reason why he is here. He has decent starting popularity in Europe which gives him main event position for now (Actually looking at my current heels he is 2nd best and will stay so for some time) Hugh De Aske age: 21 Face, Man on a Mission Hugh De Aske is the only guy from my roster who could work in America so he might leave us if one of those bigger American promotions gives him a contract. Aske has all his skills on C range and is definitely one of my best guys. Unfortunately his payment reflects his abilities with 500$ in month plus travel expenses which is more that I pay for anyone else. Sadly he cannot have that pirate gimmick since itīs too difficult for both him and the fans. ![]() Ian Vinsible age: 27 Face, Old School Face Vinsible isnīt great on any given skills but barring rumble skill he isnīt bad in any skills either. Vinsible is somewhat cheap for a main eventer guy with 350$ + travel costs but that’s probably because he should not be in main event scene. Still right now he will be my 2nd best face behind De Aske. ![]() Roberto Milano age: 29 Heel, Arrogant Heel Solid performer with good star quality, simply a must have whit my restrictions of only unemployed guys. He have bad rumble and flying skills but other skills are on C range and he is willing to work for quite cheap too (500$ per appearance). He will be one of the main guys for some time. He and Morelli form a tag team but I wonīt be using it at least not full time since they are both needed I singles ranks right now. He has highest popularity (E-) in Europe from my starting roster. UPPER MIDCARDERS: ![]() Armand Hardwicke age: 18 face, Fanīs Own OK so he is completely useless but heīs cheap (100$ per appearance) so he got a job. Nothing else to say here except that itīs quite embarrassing when this game ranks him as upper midcarder. ![]() Arthur T.Turtle age: 27 Face, Fan Favorite He is problem in backstage and asks 400$ per appearance plus travel expenses while being in upper midcard so why would I hire him? Well mainly because he has good mic skills and star quality plus most of his other stats are good too. It remains to be seen if his backstage problems will see him getting fired at some point but I didnīt have any problems whit him before so Iīm willing to try again. Heīs only real minus (other than that backstage stuff) is heīs bad selling ability. ![]() Fortius Minimus age: 31 heel, Evil Doer Minimus isnīt the guy I would normally hire mainly because he is almost completely useless but there is two reasons why he is here. First he has good selling ability so he should do a decent jobbing fir other guys and the other reason is that heīs cheap (only 150$ per show). Need to be kept away from microphone as much as possible. ![]() Giancarlo Giabroni age: 23 heel, Hillbilly Another guy who isnīt particularly useful but who just happens to be cheap (150$ per show). Not much else to say other than I need to keep him off from microphone. Hiīs gimmick is quite awful on my opinion but there simply wasnīt any better ones that he could perform and that fans could accept (possibly thief but Iīm always lost of how to use that gimmick other than stealing title belts from champions). ![]() John Michael Sharp age: 21 face, Blue Collar Sharp has good physical and performance skills which were the main reasons why I hired him. Heīs cheap too with 150$ per show but unfortunately I have to pay his travel expenses too. Still, heīs solid enough that itīs worth to have him at that prize and I knew couldnīt get many guys with just 150$ anyway. Sharp was released from ROF at the start of this game. MIDCARDERS: Glen Ward age: 26 heel, ****y Youth I didnīt really want to sign Ward since he seems to be a backstage problem this time but there really wasnīt many guys who would work cheap (150$ + travel) and have some actual skills so in the end I decided to try Ward. Heīs likely jobbing this year so that I can see how big problem he is backstage before I make any plans for him. ![]() Suicide Agent age: 27 heel, Power and Paint Suicide agent is here mainly because I like him and Genocide agent who sadly asked more than 150$ + travel so I leaved him out. Still Suicide Agent have decent all around skills and should be a good fit for my roster and I can always bring his partner in later if I want to. Suicide is likely getting some push in order to get him in upper midcard mainly because I think that heīs my best non-main event heel. LOWER MIDCARDS: ![]() Nigel Svensson age: 21 face, MMA Bad Ass Like Sharp, Svensson was also released from ROF on start of this game. He has great performance, technical and physical skills but sadly he lacks entertainment skills which will hurt him somewhat in ESE. Signed with 100$ + travel costs so was cheap enough considering his upsides though this game doesnīt seem to agree since it ranks Svensson so low. Heīs also a positive influence in backstage. STAFF: Announcer: ![]() Salty Larry age: 44 face, Staff Member Larry is going to be my announcer for now. I chose him over the others mainly because he has higher respect and after a test run I can tell that I wonīt have any locker room leaders and Larryīs D- is likely going to be highest respect rating for my whole locker room. Heīs willing to work for cheap (200$ plus travel) too which is good since most my wrestlers cost more than 150$ per show. Road agent/color commentator ![]() Mike Peterson age:39 heel, Staff Member Peterson pulls double study as color commentator and road agent. Heīs quite cheap too with just 250$ + Travel Expenses. referee Neil Fearn age: 31 Face, Staff Member Not much choice here he is simply the best available guy for me and cheap too (150$ per appearance). ![]() First ever ESE Eternal Battle show will see start of the tournament that will eventually determinate the first ever King of Network champion. Tournament will start with four three way matches where guys that get pinned will be dropped from next round. predictions: three way tournament match Suicide Agent vs. Fortius Minimus vs. Hugh De Aske three way tournament match Giancarlo Giabroni vs. Armand Hardwicke vs. John Michael Sharp three way tournament match Nigel Svensson vs. Ian Vinsible vs. Gianfranco Morelli three way tournament match Arthur T.Turtle vs. Roberto Milano vs. Glen Ward NOTE: I will run predictions to end of 2010 and whoever has most right guesses during that time can choose single worker that I should hire to ESE (or fire from ESE in case thereīs a guy you donīt want to see here). Only restrictions for hiring are that worker must be able to work in Europe (doh) and that he donīt ask too much money (lets say over 800$ for now so mainly guys with overness E or less in Europe). |

March 2010
week 2 Friday ESE Eternal Battle Held in Synthesis Mall: attendance 5 peoples three way King of Network tournament match vs. vs. Suicide Agent vs. Fortius Minimus vs. Hugh De Aske Suicide Agent and Hugh De Aske go against each others from the start while Minimus spend most of this match outside the ring and made some run-ins every time that he saw open opportunity. Match ends when De Aske puts Suicide Agent away with Cut-Throat Driver. Minimus attacked De Aske from behind but Aske was able to turn the tide and hit Minimus with another Cut-Throat Driver and pins him for a three count. WINNER: by pinfall Hugh De Aske E+ (I forgot to took the match time but it was something between 8 to 10 minutes) ANGLE: takes a mic after the match and start telling how he have sailed in seven seas and how he have now landed to ESE where he is going to be the best wrestler on a roster. He then warns everyone that anyone who tries to stop him will walk down the plank since he cannot be stopped. E+three way King of Network tournament match vs. vs. Giancarlo Giabroni vs. Armand Hardwicke vs. John Michael Sharp Giabroni looked quite strong and was in control for most of this match barring a section where Hardwicke and Sharp double teamed him and drove him outside of the ring. Both Hardwicke and Sharp got some offence of their own but both made some mistakes too that let Giabroni to take control of this match. Match ended when Hardwicke hits Sharp down from top turnbuckle sending him crashing on the floor. When Hardwicke turns around Giabroni hits him with Milan Arrow and pins Hardwicke for the win. This match suffered for a lack of flow WINNER: by pinfall Giancarlo Giabroni in 6:54 F+ three way King of Network tournament match vs. vs. Nigel Svensson vs. Ian Vinsible vs. Gianfranco Morelli This was quite normal three way match where each wrestler got about the same amount of offence. End come when Svensson was able to put Vinsible in a Hyper Extension Arm Lock that Morelli broke before Vinsible had to give up. Morelli then hit Svensson with Standing Hot Shot and pinned him for a victory while Vinsible was still recovering on that Arm Lock. WINNER: by pinfall Gianfranco Morelli in 11:48 E+ three way King of Network tournament match vs. vs. ![]() Arthur T.Turtle vs. Roberto Milano vs. Glen Ward Milano and Ward started this match by working together and it seemed that Turtle was in real trouble until Ward decided to attack Milano and break their alliance. After that things evened out and Turtle got some offence in too. In the end Wardīs decision to cancel the alliance with Milano proved costly when Milano got him in Knee Lock and Ward had to tap out. WINNER: by submission Roberto Milano in 14:35 E+ ANGLE: After the match takes the mic and informs everyone that they are looking at the first ever ESE King of Studios champion. D-Show rating: E+ Nice first show but Neil Fearn wasnīt particularly good referee so I may need to upgrade him in a near future. As a side note Morelli is voted as one of the next break-out stars by some industry veterans. Guess I try to keep him then. Last edited by Zergon : 03-26-2010 at 04:08 AM. |

April 2010
week 2 Friday ![]() ESE Eternal Battle Held in Synthesis Mall: attendance 4 peoples 1 vs. 1 King of Network tournament quarter finals vs. ![]() Suicide Agent vs. Ian Vinsible Quite heated battle where it looked like Suicide concentrated more on hurting Vinsible than winning the match. Luckily for Vinsible he was more than a match to suicide and so he was able not only withstand Suicideīs attacks but also having a slight upper hand for most of the match. In the end Suicides intentions to hurt Vinsible come painfully clear when he took chair from the ring side and hit it on Vinsibleīs head while Fearn was watching leaving Fearn no other options than DQ suicide. WINNER: Ian Vinsible by DQ in 7:39 E+ ANGLE: continues to attack with a chair until comes out and drives Suicide out of the ring. Both Larry and Peterson wonder why Suicide Agent would want to cost his title opportunity. Larry also praise Sharp for coming to help his friend while Peterson states that Sharp had no business coming in the ring. F-ANGLE: hypes his one on one match against Roberto Milan saying that he will to everything that he possibly can to win tonight and get in the top four. E1 vs. 1 King of Network tournament quarter finals vs. Gianfranco Morelli vs. John Michael Sharp This was quite high flying match where both guys made lots of risky moves that sometimes backfired. After back and forth match the end come surprisingly when comes out and attacks Sharp with a chair while Fearn was looking elsewhere. Suicide leaves the ring and Morelli capitalize the situation and picks a win. This match suffered with lack of flow in the middle part of the match. WINNER: by pinfall Gianfranco Morelli after interference by Suicide Agent in 7:28 E- ANGLE: hypes his match against Turtle saying that no-one can stop him for claiming the belt. E1 vs. 1 King of Network tournament quarter finals vs. Hugh De Aske vs. Giancarlo Giabroni Hugh De Aske seemed to be a little bit ahead from the start but Giabroni was able to fight back and managed to keep a control of the match with usual heel tactics. In the end De Aske proofed to be too much on Giabroni when Aske finished Giabroni with Skull and Cross Bones. Sadly Giabroni was off his game tonight so this match wasnīt as good as expected. WINNER: Hugh De Aske by pinfall in 11:36 E 1 vs. 1 King of Network tournament quarter finals vs. Arthur T.Turtle vs. Roberto Milano Turtleīs fight flying offence managed to keep Milano on his toes on most of the match but in the end Milano collects victory with Arm Bar after he hit Turtle with a low blow. WINNER: by submission Roberto Milano in 13:24 D- Show rating: E+ Another quite strong show but then again I used all my top guys so it should be on E+ range. Itīs interesting to see what happens in next show when I wonīt be using all my main eventers. Last edited by Zergon : 03-26-2010 at 04:09 AM. |

June 2010
week 2 Friday ![]() ESE Eternal Battle Held in Synthesis Mall: attendance 8 peoples 1 vs. 1 vs. Giancarlo Giabroni vs. Nigel Svensson Svensson looked strong from the start here slightly dominating Giabroni until thumb in the eye turned things around. Svensson fought on bravely but Giabroni was able to keep fight under his control and eventually he hit Svensson with Milan Arrow and picked a three count. WINNER: Giancarlo Giabroni by pinfall in 10:23 E ANGLE: hypes his match against Vinsible.E1 vs. 1 vs. Suicide Agent vs. Armand Hardwicke Hardwicke was eager to show his skills and attacked Suicide Agent from the start. However Hardwicke made some rookie mistakes and Suicide Agent was able to gain control and put Hardwicke away with a Full Nelson Slam. WINNER: Suicide Agent by pinfall in 7:30 F+ ANGLE: & comes out after the match and informs that they are going to have a tag team match next month against Suicide and partner of his choosing. E-1 vs. 1 vs. John Michael Sharp vs. Glen Ward Ward got an early advantage when Sharp was paying a little too much attention on leaving Suicide Agent. Ward had a chance to end this match right away but he become a little too arrogant and gave Sharp enough time to recover. That proved to be a costly mistake from Ward who was pinned after Sharp hit him wity Flying Cross Body. WINNER: John Michael Sharp by pinfall in 9:14 E- 1 vs. 1 King of Network tournament semi-finals vs. Ian Vinsible vs. Roberto Milano This looked quite similar to Milanoīs last match against Turtle. Vinsible was able to keep Milano of his technical game with high flying offence, until Vinsible missed with his flying forearm. Milano capitalize the situation and is able to make Vinsible tap out with his Knee Lock. WINNER: Roberto Milano by submission 14:53 E+ Show rating: E Well canīt say that Iīm surprised about rating drop considering that Morelli, Turtle and Hugh De Aske werenīt in the show. The good news where that I was only 67$ in minus in this month which is huge difference from two previous show months (My performance from those shows where -2 140$ (March) and - 1 432$ (April).
