Default Exporting of lineups

During Online League play, will there be an option to export your lineups, then email them to the league commish? I play OOTP and love that option.

I play alot of hockey leagues, use either EHM (Freeware) and a new NHL EHM (29$). In the freeware version we can export lines and email them, in the new version, to play online you have to connect to an online server (like Quake ) and it is SLOW..

emailing of the number of lineups that would be involved in a college football league would be a nightmare for the commish to handle.

ftp is a must.

There will be no FTP program as a part of Bowl Bound. Files will be exported into a certain folder and the commish will be able to mass import from that same folder.

The easiest way to run a league is to have each user use windows explorer to drag their file into the FTP folder on the league server. Then, the commish can download all the files locally and run the import.

Arlie,

Do you mean give ftp access to a lineups folder on the league's server to all the owners, so they can upload in that fashion?

I'm not aware of an Explorer option that would access a server unless its ftp.

yeah, I was talking about simple FTP. Just setup a public folder for people to upload to, then each owner can export their file and drag to that folder in explorer using the FTP connection info. Then, the commish simply dumps all the files from the public FTP folder to a local spot and imports. That's not that much work and it allows the commish to better manage when he wants to do imports.

Or like the commish of NFLsim made a small program where we as owners go to the league site, click upload point on our computer where the export file to be uploaded, put in a league password he made for security than hit UPLOAD....

Example....
