Age has caught up to the Yankees and there is no denying that but they have also lost a lot of talent to injuries.

The best Baltimore will finish this year is third. I think it is the Rays division to win but like I said it is still very early and anything can happen.

Especially now that they have added that extra Wild Card crap. Now the regular season is going to mean even less than it did before.

I think the O's stand a running chance. Showalter was great for them in his brief stint during his first season, then got them off the ground very well in their second season before things collapsed. I had them as my sleeper team then because of his great finish with them in his first year, and I have them there this season as well.

It's all about getting the cartoon Oriole back as their logo lol. Didn't we have this talk about the Orioles last season too when they started good. I don't see anyway their pitching hangs anywhere close to what it is now to keep them in that division. I'm sure they'll finish better than they did last year, but the Rays have 4 starters that top any Orioles pitcher on most days. They'll only get better when they get Longo back too. I expect them to run away with the division at some point.

I'm sure the Yankees will come around at some point, it's not like they are playing horrible. You know they will get some help if they need it too. I think the Yankees will grab one of the wildcard spots. You can never count the Red Sox out either, when they get healthy they are still a very good team.

The third AL East team has got to hope that the Tigers don't pick things up though because them and the Indians could both make it in. It's kind of a crap shoot to me if it's the Sox or Jays, I just don't think it'll be the Orioles. I'd love to see them prove me wrong, but they haven't been known for proving people wrong over a whole season lately.

I'm getting the feeling Tommy Hunter picks it up and Matusz finally remembers how to pitch once Hammel goes back to being the #5 starter he is.

Don't look now but the O's are 2-8 in their last 10 and the Rays and Yankees are breathing down their necks.

That is why I try to never talk trash this early in the season. Simply because a team is always one bad injury away from sucking.

I'm still enjoying my O's success while it lasts. Gotta get at least 3 games in this next 6 game swing.

I have nothing against the Orioles, in fact the only time I really disliked them was when they signed Jimmy Key away from the Yankees. I would have no problem seeing them do good, then again if they did end up doing good I have a feeling MLT would bust my balls to no end about it.

Honey, you'd have to grow some first.

Just kidding.

I'm happy at their record so far, though losing tonight pushed them to second place. Kinda sad about that.

Looks like we might see the Orioles have a winning season.

Who thinks the Orioles will have a winning season?

Perhaps, like I said before I just do not believe they have a good enough team to do much damage. Then again I've been wrong in the past so who knows.

I really dislike the fact that Interleague Play is going to become a regular thing next year. Yes it is cool to see the Yankees/Mets, Cubs/White Sox or the Dodger/Angels. But who in the hell wants to watch the Mariners/Marlins? Nothing against those two teams, but there is just no history between them. To me interleague play is just a novelty, a novelty that we are now stuck with.

I wonder how long it is going to be before the DH rule is brought into the National League.

They need to get their act together. I mean really 7 runs in two innings?

I really dislike Arrieta...

In news today, Kevin Millwood had to leave a game last night after pitching 6 innings of no-hit ball.

In other news... Kevin Millwood is still pitching?!
