Email addresses in online league setup......

What are these entered for? Surely, the team's emails that it gets from the game don't go to the owner's actual email address.

I'm thinking they are used in the HTML reports for the online league on the Owners Page.

Correct, this is how TPF is set up as well

My question is why whould everyones emails be nessisary in a college league, team owners are not making trades

More than likely just a convienent place to store all of your league member information, it more than likely can be output to an html page as well once the 1.1 patch is done. This could be useful for interaction in the league for scheduling games etc.
